  1. I entered this show with the attitude that I was watching a poor man's X Files and I leave it feeling the same way. What I have found interesting is how they manufacture drama over a phenomenon to only then cast it aside. For example, they find a hole that is completely covered with branches and other debris and decide to redirect water into this concealed hole. They claim to have dumped over 40,000 gallons into this hidden hole and they have no idea where all the water went. They had people scouting out various outlets to no avail. Then they decide to remove all of the debris and they discover a simple square hole about 25ft deep. My first thought was "ok NOW redirect over 40,000 gallons of water into this pit so that we can actually see this water dissappear." Do they even consider doing this? Nope, it is off too another mystery. Then there was the time where they discovered this football shaped object under the road near Homestead 2. They can't dig however because Dragon (what a basement dwelling D&D goofball) will piss his pants, and Tom's head will explode. But in future episodes they decide that they need to dig deep after all. The question is where? Over at Homestead 2 to finally discover what that long football shape is? Nope, over at the Triangle where they find (drumroll) an underground stream.... this type of sleight of hand investigating is typical on this show.
  2. A few notes: In this day and age of script writing, a rather innocuous conversation between Yumiko and the Secretary has me thinking, "yup, they are going to lock lips at some point." Secondly, I guess they could not figure out how to portray the Governor's son so they lifted Robin Arryn from GoT and finally, during Maggie and Negan's fireside chat, I would have liked to see Negan remind Maggie, that his intention was only to kill one member of their group (Abraham) but if it wasn't for her buddy Daryl deciding to jump the line and foolishly attack him, Glen would probaby be alive today. True, it still would not make it right, but she needed to be reminded that Daryl's reckless behavior did have a part to play.
  3. "Neither Daryl's "girlfriend" from last week, (Gilligan" who the fuck is he?) Or the bunch of kids abandoned from their parents in the middle of the apocalyse" I do not recall the name of that whack job who lived on the island who met up with Michonne. He is the dude with Connie now so I gave him the Gilligan place holder since I do not give a shit what these cardboard cutouts are actually named....
  4. Thank You kindly...I will need to go back and see if anything connects with my fried synapses.....
  5. Either I completely missed an episode where Connie reappeared and was found by "Gilligan" or my retention skills are on a serious decline. I honestly cannot recall Connie being on the show since she disappeared...
  6. Hey writers, a belated piece of advice... when considering a name for a community, for goodness sake, avoid pilfering from the Fallout video game series... why bring attention to the fact that the Fallout storyline is superior to anything you have come up with....
  7. No, Maggie will go to another god awful Network television series...
  8. So I guess, specifically, the red swatches of Rootin Tootin Raspberry juice that destroyed the Martian ship at the end, is the same entity that destroyed the Boo Berry civilization that Miller was part of. So the final season is a showdown with Big Boss Rootin while the children known as Earthers, Martians and Belters squabble not realizing they will be stepped on like ants. This entire series always produced a shadow of Babylon 5 in my murky mind while I watched it and we shall see if Holden is treading a path that was forged by John Sheridan.
  9. I guess the last movie the old man with the shopping cart saw was BOXING HELENA. It never occurred to me that this movie was actually a survivalist guide..
  10. Maggie will implement the Glen tactic and crawl under the dumpster, uh, train...at least the redundancy is kept in the family...
  11. You are right, it did seem she was written as older, which made Teddy basically pawing at her, and using creative double speak all the more creepier since she actually was not.
  12. Nothing will make me watch World Beyond... nothing!
  13. So, have we brought together a storyline which might tie Walking and Fear together with the helicopter being the rope?
  14. I think she was just knocked unconscious, so it might be wishful thinking on your part...besides she probably will need to become a Walker first before being killed, otherwise, next season, we would have to endure endless guilt trip scenes from the character who blatantly murders a kid, no matter the justification for doing so.
  15. I wonder if there is another season, we will have the after effects of all ten warheads wiping the cast out and Season Seven's title will be "ALICIA'S BUNKER PLACE"?
  16. You make a good point but still, they are treating this sub like it is an Alka-Seltzer fueled bathtub toy.....
  17. Um..I guess they already know that the beached sub can be powered up and all of the complicated electronics needed to operate it works? Or do they just turn keys in a dead control panel and this will cause............wait, what kind of fool am I to go down such a rabbit hole?!
  18. Wow! Talk about coincidences! No, I do not mean what transpired on the show, but Carradine's Hickok was shot by Dillahunt's McCall on Deadwood and now they be Father and Son....
  19. I cannot recall the last time I was actually becoming angry watching an episode of a television show...What a contrived mess of hot garbage! Think about how Morgan was reluctant to hand over the key even though there was a gun pointed at a pregnant woman. He had to be convinced by Grace, not because her and her baby's lives were threatened, but because she visited the wonderful world of zOz and knew all would be allright. I was actually happy to watch commercial breaks.
  20. So I think this is the third or possibly fourth time Reuben Blades seemed to have exited the show. I wonder if this is finally it?
  21. Forgive me if I am repeating something that may have been mentioned, but wasn’t that Grant Imahara from Myth Busters in the photo as part of the old man’s Memorial to his son? If so, then that was a nice tribute to him, may he rest in peace.
  22. And this is different from the Walking Dead how?
  23. I finally felt some emotional pull which has been lacking for many years throughout this franchise. I am sorry he is no longer on the show, but I get it, all actors eventually want to move on, so I will continue to watch. These shows are winding down anyway, so all the characters will be gone from our minds soon enough.
  24. At Home with Carol, now on your local PBS station. After all these years, one thing I never considered. Despite how decicated the Walkers become, their eyes retain a vibrant, moist and healthy glow. You would think most Walkers would have withered eyes and be blind by now.
  25. Ah....thank goodness for the almighty fast forward button....I knocked out this shit storm in 15 minutes....when you watch so much terrible television and movies as I have, you develop a true talent in knowing when to cut down the drek to bare minimum displeasure..
