Wait, what?? I never even heard about that instance! That's horrible. Yeah, tracking someone's IP to try to out them on the Internet against their will is totally OK and self-defense and not at all insane. ????????

Even after reading that, I still don't know exactly what happened or who's to "blame." What a ridiculous mess. There was some kerfuffle about that same Ethan person months ago -- like, he said something nice about CS and SQers went after him, or he may have been trolling CSers with fake nice comments for a bit. I don't know, there was something that happened, but I mostly ignored it because I had no idea who he was and I didn't care. I do know that there's an SQ Tumblr, BadAppleHQ, that tracks the IPs of CS and OQ fans, and they were one of the ones tweeting about this situation to the cast and crew. The person who runs it purports to be an ex-miliary cyber expert who's now out on disability and thus has a lot of time to waste on this stuff. Who knows if that's true, but she is tracking IPs. I find IP-tracking of other fans to be EXTREMELY disquieting, over the top and borderline cyber-bullying. Really, resorting to IP tracking over a TV crackship???

I've been trying to figure that drama out. The latest I can work out is that there was an SQer ("Ethan") who deleted his Tumblr. Some Tumblr account with "captainswan" in the name said they did it, but it was an account that no actual CSer had ever seen posting about CS and that account is now deleted. So who the hell knows 1) if they even had anything to do with it or 2) if they were actually a CS fan or an SQ fan trying to make CS fans look bad. It's the Internet. People lie. They can say anything they want, but that doesn't make it true. I sincerely doubt it was actually a CS fan. There's certainly no proof of that and a lot to side-eye. IMO, people need to be way more skeptical about stuff that goes around the Internet and not just take things at face value -- especially in divisive fandoms where factions try to make each other look bad. I love the journalism motto, "If your mother says she loves you, check it out." In any case, nobody should be tagging the actors and Adam about that sort of fandom fuckery. WTF are they gonna do about it? The fans doing that are just trying to gain ship-war "points."

Report is they're filming in Steveston on Wednesday the 22nd! (ETA: I went to find the source to link, and that Twitter post has been deleted. So … maybe not.)

I don't know. Just reporting what some people said. Maybe they were just hanging out & not filming. Maybe the soundstage is identical to the real Granny's site & they can use either. Though one of the people onstage thought she heard "Action, Colin" on a walkie-talkie while they were inside.

That's lovely, Shanna Marie. My former neighbors are going through the steps to become foster parents right now. They have three young kids themselves and are getting by on a teacher's salary, but they'll be great. The wife just adores children and wants to help them all. She's the mom-est mom I've ever met. Bless them.

LOL, I totally was wanting Hook to stab Regina, too! He was pointing it right at her. Perfect opportunity. I don't think Hook would be fearful. He's spent hundreds of years trying to kill or snarking at the Dark One. The Dark One doesn't hold any mystique for him. He wanted his Dark Swan back and he wanted her NOW.

I think they're seagulls. Steveston is on the water. I approve of Snow telling Regina what's what. Even if it does put more emphasis on Emma saving Regina instead of the entire town.

Once again, Snowing just stand there like lumps while Regina shares focus with Hook. Shouldn't Emma's parents get more focus in this scene than Regina?? (I know, I know, silly me. Focus on other characters takes focus away from Regina. That's just show biz.)

Dark Swan costume details.

Here's a wacky theory: If Camelot's time moves differently or it's "timeless," maybe the Dark Swan that arrives in SB in the premiere is from the future, so we see what she will become. But when everyone journeys to Camelot, it's in the past, so they can try to prevent her from going full Dark. Along the way, we see Emma starting to go Dark, interspersed with flashes of her going Dark in the "original" timeline. I don't know. I'm just spitballing here. That's probably not what is happening. It doesn't fit with the spoilers about it being a gradual/lengthy process. But A&E certainly have worded some things oddly that make me wonder about timelines and time shifts and such.

If it's not a promo, the timeline is just not making sense to me to have Emma as full-on Dark Swan in SB but OK in Camelot. It made me go back to the weird tense usage in Eddy's answer here: The right answer is you’re going to see both. We intend to show you how she would become dark and what would happen if she was. HOROWITZ: It’s a slow burn as opposed to all of a sudden. Adam's reply makes sense. Eddy's doesn't and is odd with the "woulds." So I'm wondering if we see the Zelena and Camelot stuff, then at the end of the ep it's a flash-forward and we see Dark Swan. It could even be a, like, crystal ball or scrying vision. ETA: I swear, I'm not going to be able to NOT see Tilda Swinton when I see Dark Swan.

I went to an XFiles Romantics email list (yes, it was long enough ago that our chatting option was an email list) get-together once in D.C. It was a ton of fun. We posed Mulder & Scully dolls outside the FBI building. Good times.
