I'm increasingly confused. And kind of annoyed and frustrated and tempted to delete this show from my TiFaux, but mostly confused. In theory, I understand and even support the idea of trying to make this more nuanced and 'grey' than the typical 'mistress = pure evil', 'cheated upon woman = flawless saint' stuff, but for me this storyline isn't nuanced and intriguingly grey: it's just this maddening bizarro world reversal whereby the mistress is the flawless saint and the cheated upon woman is depicted as evil and loathed by all. And I get that Sami's history comes into this---she's done terrible things in the past, and I can understand why some would decline to sympathize with her. But for nearly *everyone* in town to rally around Abby as the paragon of perfection, vilify Sami and then with EJ---well, I neither know nor care what they're doing with EJ, though I agree with those who are getting the sinking feeling that this is setting up an EJami 'us against the world!' reunion. If the ultimate goal was to make Sami ostracized by Salem to set the stage for her departure, there are roughly 18 zillion more logical (and entertaining!) ways to do it other than making her the victim of her fiance's adultery! There's just so much about this that fails to make any sense to me.

Mrs. Kim sadly but firmly tells Lane she must move out if she wants to live by her own rules 17. Dave Rygalski reads the entire bible in one night and Mrs. Kim lets him take Lane to prom 13 and 16 are gone, and the next round is open! Just vote for the two you most want eliminated :)

...So whoever stops by should feel free to guess where the above photo comes from, but I'm suggesting that today's theme be....*drum roll*...Winter Wonderland. In other words, scenes from any episode throughout the series that happens to take place in the winter months :)

Excellent catch! I'm now having way too much fun drawing my own fanwanks about Elle's family. Yes, this is how I choose to spend my Saturday nights ;) I know, right?! Maybe in some weird way it's a blessing---had she been around longer, she might have been written as all over the place as Emily (IMO, obviously...and I love Emily, but I just think she was often underwritten and very inconsistently written!) , been depicted with the same annoying amount of exaggeration as Garcia, or gotten the JJ treatment, which...*shudder* What are people's very favorite episodes for Elle's character? I'm thinking Derailed, Fisher King Part II and Broken Mirror are my top three picks, but I could easily list about 15 more!

Do we know anything about Elle's relationship with her mother? Did she have any siblings? And do we know exactly how old she was supposed to be while on the show? As you guys can tell, I've been going through another 'I miss and adore Elle and why didn't I appreciate her more while she was around?!' phase. And this remains one of my favorite shots of the series:

Do we see her interacting with Lorelai?

BOTH!!! Oh, wait, that's not an option?! I'll take one of Luke's flannels, then. For one thing, it's more closely associated with the show than any one of Lorelai's random shirts. For another, those flannels look a lot more comfortable than most of what Lorelai wears! Given that she kept debating between medicine and law, WYR have Paris as your doctor or your lawyer?

What are your 3-5 favorite intra-team relationships? (Current AND former team members are eligible!) In no particular order... 1. Reid/Gideon---Yes, Gideon is an exhausting, narcissistic drama queen, but he was also a really compelling and interesting character to me, and I found his relationship with Reid to be among the best developed, most touching and interesting of the series. 2. Elle/Reid---As others have stated, on paper these two wouldn't connect well at all, but somehow they did---and while I vacillate a bit on whether I think their dynamic was that of purely platonic pseudo-siblings or friends with the chemistry to potentially become more, I find that their scenes just get better and better with rewatch. And they always make me wish Elle had stayed on the show a whole lot longer than she actually did! 3. Prentiss/Rossi---Yes, granted, this one exists more in my head and in certain fanfics than on screen ;) Episodes like Demonology highlight why I really like their dynamic, however, and felt they were a great mix of 'I get you' similarities and complementary differences. 4. Hotch/Reid---The Early Years---For the first couple of seasons, this was (and remains!) one of my favorite dynamics on the show. It kind of saddens me to see how comparatively bland and flat their relationship has become, and how (IMO, of course) Hotch in general became a far less compelling character. 5. Hotch/Gideon---I'm always happily surprised all over again by how much I enjoy their S1 dynamic. There's a clear pattern here for me: While S4 has many of my favorite individual episodes, and I do love both Emily and Rossi, I think the characterizations and intra-team dynamics were depicted best in the show's first season. Relationships I most wish I'd gotten to see: Emily/Elle and Rossi/Elle I'm interested to see other people's lists!
