  1. I would totally sit on the couch of shame and hate watch that as much as I do MAFS
  2. http://www.cmt.com/video-clips/v29q4d/dallas-cowboys-cheerleaders-making-the-team-let-the-real-competition-begin I completely apologize if this has been posted earlier. I don't have the time right now to scroll through all the comments since yesterday. I just saw this on the CMT page. I still haven't figured out how I got on it when I was logging into my work page but whatever lol
  3. I have to wonder, out of all the many, many cameos taken of each woman, THIS is the best one? That falls to K&J, not the photographer.
  4. Count me in to the "hair issues" club! I have always had super, super thick hair. Any time I go to a new salon, they make a huge deal out of it and all of them have to come and feel it and touch it. Layers makes it look even thicker (and I have a slight natural wave/curl) and I can totally relate to Miranda. I can spend forever with a curling iron and hair spray (or I used to before I decided let it do what it wants, I can always put it up in a pony tail) and within an hour it's back exactly the way it was before I wasted time on it. Gina is in desperate need of hair help. She needs some serious low lights and I think a cut like Amy's would look much better and healthier for her. Now I am Marshall's Number 1 fan, but maybe he isn't making the best choices for some of these women. Savannah's hair....ugh. I also have red hair (yeah I got it all lol) but her's is mousy and dull. It washes her out, and it emphasizes her horse face. I have never been team Savannah, I don't think she can dance and she is far from pretty, she's average looking at best. Interestingly, the guys I've forced to watch this show with me all say the same thing. I like Maddie's curls, but they are a bit too heavy for her right now, I think she needs some highlights and a good trim. She also appears very untoned to me, but then again, a LOT a the vets did this year.
  5. I would love to see how they pick the group leaders and what women they put in each group. Who are the second leaders? They've never shown them being announced. And group practices would be nice (in normal clothes, not their cult uniforms tptb make them wear)
  6. What was her story? I found last year's group so overwhelmingly blah that I don't remember their names let alone their stories. I know there is one that reminds me of Megan C, same look and I thought she was amazing. Beyond that, I couldn't name any of them. That's the first year I felt this way. I'm watching old seasons on Amazon now (come on CMT, put them all up again so I can watch 1 and 2!) and I can name all of them. PLUS they weren't that scrawny, bony sickly look that they are going for now.
  7. I honestly did not recognize Lacey in her last couple years. And I've wondered about Miranda also. Her rookie year to her second year, again I did not recognize her. But hey, it's their body and they have to live with a body part, so whatever floats your boat. Or in Christina's case, just get some pointy floats. Her rookie year when they did action shots Kelli commented "she has no figure (or curves or something along that line)" I dislike Christina and think she stands out in a terrible way though. (but then again, I find Victoria cute and bubbly, where I thought Dayton had no personality and whines when she talks...I'll duck now to avoid the shoes being thrown my way)
  8. I totally read that in Judi's voice when she was screaming "COURTNEY!!!" at Courtney Cook. (OK I'm watching past seasons, I admit it)
  9. Is there room for one more? I'm totally late to the party but I worked a 2nd/3rd shift double and am just now catching up.
  10. Thank you for saying this! I absolutely agree. I spend more time reading this board thinking "who is that now" when they talk about rookies. They were all bland, boring, and no personalities. There was WAY too much focus on Malena. And I admit, towards the middle I ended up fast forwarding through her sections, She was so annoying and blah. I seriously HATE the seasons when they focus on one person, generally someone who sucks. Breelan , Morgan, Malena...these are the people I actively root against because they are shoved down our throats. Can we PLEASE go back to the years where we got to know all the rookies and not just those tptb think we want to hear about? And Brennan. And Christina. YUCK and double YUCK.
  11. See I LOVE her! I can totally picture her and I sitting around talking. The old "if you don't have anything nice to say, come sit by me and let's talk" type of thing. I think she is hilarious, she says it like it is, and she's not mean about it (like Kitty, but I like her too). I really appreciate people who speak their mind (probably because I do). My least favorite "guest" (if you can call her that) is Charlotte. She's boring and acts like a cult leader. "Let's touch the star!" Add in Sarah "Horse-Face" Gourley too, I never liked her or saw her appeal. Blech.
  12. The first meeting, someone always says "It's our first meeting, I don't know what's going to happen or what we are going to talk about". SHUT. UP. Yes, you do, and if you don't know, you need to go back and watch all the previous seasons. I always liked the seasons where we saw the women on calendar shoot or them in social situations, like when the team went camping with Kelli and Judy. Not the fake social situations in a coffee shop talking, or the rookies practicing on their own and someone says "do you think it will be a cut night?" and everyone looks around all fake shocked. These women are NOT actresses and the wooden, pre-planned replies suck. And I HATE (can you say HATE) when they have country singers come to "evaluate" the women, it's so fake. I did like Nick Flores, I thought he was awesome. I would love him and Marshall having a bitch session during tryouts, the thought alone makes me smile. (And I think I'm the only one, but I've always adored Melissa Rycroft and I love her scenes...duck and run)
  13. I love "To Wong Foo"! What a great comparison! Kitty always seems a bit over-the-top drag queen like to me too. I love her. She says it like it is and doesn't just give neutral criticism that really mean nothing.
