  1. She looks positively bony and not healthy. I think that every time I see a picture of her. She definitely looks too skinny and worse than Kelsey. I was watching the older seasons on Pluto and I was thinking how much healthier and more womanly the women in early seasons looked. Now they want skin and bones to look better on the HD board. They used to have curves
  2. Apologies if this has been posted, I didn't see it on the last 2 pages and that is all I have time to look at. I was watching the always horrible "Married at First Sight" tonight and they have a Lifetime moving coming out called "Christmas on Ice" starring Abigail Klein. She has the lead roll in the movie. I always liked her, she seemed so down to earth and nice. She still looks amazing. Anyhow it airs Oct 23 on Lifetime if anyone is interested.
  3. Episode Summary: It starts with a guest choreographer, who I don't know, as I am not and never have been in the dance world. He was fun and I liked his work, but I am SO OVER the guest choreographers that haven't actually been, you know, DCC's. His segment seemed shorter than watching Kat in the office talk over Kelli and Judy and play to the camera in any way she can. Actually, IIRC, the show opened with her running her pie hole about some nonsense. She acts like she is 12 and had too much caffeine and is worse than nails on the chalk board. Cut her already, she's awful in every way. Loved the choreographer though, he said Kat and Christina are the worst and I fully agree. Christina has the "I've got fake boobs" cleavage crater going on. Then some rookies randomly go for facials or something. It was a total advertisement, the acting is terrible. Alanna and some random nameless rookie meet at the dog park (perhaps Lisa?) and again, we are treated to poor acting skills and stilted conversation. I'm already bored with the episode and we have a ways to go. We get another guest choreographer. I liked his work, it certainly isn't something I would picture on the sidelines though. If they don't actually do this during games, why are they learning it? He also doesn't like Christina. She looked like she was dancing with cement boots. Off, no energy, barely moving. Then office visits. Meredith, of course, is crying. She's cried through most of the episode as usual. All I can think is damn girl, grow up.She doesn't even know why she's crying. They think she will be better on the field. Why, I don't know. Will she miraculously be able to dance and have power? I'm thinking no. Then some other chick gets called into the office, I think her name is Madeline but I don't know, Random Blonde. Kelli asks if she is planning DCC, Broadway, or print modeling as her mom was a DCC and Kelli feels like this chick was maybe pushed into it. Chick is like yep, I can do all of it in time, why not. Kelli said DCC is not meant to be a stepping stone. Oh REALLY? What chemicals is she huffing off those stickers for the pictures? I mean, OF COURSE it's a stepping stone. These girls are all (usually) in their early 20's. This season has bored me. If I hadn't seen the red light on the DVR kick in, I would have forgotten about it completely. And of course, what I liked most last year was the "where are they now" segments and they don't do it this year.
  4. And Jordan Baum, Jordan Chanley, Jordan Ketchum were all on the team at the same time. It's not a big deal I don't think
  5. I just finally watched this episode. Equally as boring as the rest, except yay for KaShara and Jacie sightings! Loved them both, I thought Kash did a great job teaching and it took balls to pick Caroline for point. Jacie picking show group...perfection! Although I would have liked to hear her input much more. She's always been an eye catcher for me, and one of my favorites to watch. The rest of the episode. Meh. Just like the season so far. I didn't care about Alexandra getting cut, I didn't think she belonged in TC anyhow and I think they picked her for the same reasons that Brennan and Christina are on the team. They keep showing up. Meredith, I liked you a lot at first, now... QUIT CRYING. Jeez girlfriend. I liked Kash's advice to her. The makeovers. let's just call them what they are. Giving everyone the exact same hairstyle. Maybe we change the color a little for "diversity". Other than that, everyone's hair is identical. Come on, be original. mix it up. The hair is as boring as this season is.. Oh Savannah. Thinking you'll make show group. Bless her heart as those in the south say. You have to at least be able to dance to be on SG. Jalyn, I'm so disappointed in you. I wanted a Megan Flaherty/VIvian's poetry melt down in the office. I mean, those are the episodes I watch over and over for the trainwreckness. But yay for Rachel A for making SG! She looks amazing this year! Kat...I fast forward through all your parts. GO AWAY. She can't dance, she has no personality. She reminds me so much of old Viv in her 2 seasons of trying out. Constantly looking for the cameras and playing to them. And good Lord, what is with all the eye makeup this year? I thought Jalyn had another eye infection until I realized it was her makeup. ALL of them, tone it down. you look like boxers with black eyes. I admit, I was more focusing on playing Candy Crush than watching this totally lame season. YAWN. I'm going back to watch the interesting seasons.
  6. This season has completely bored me. I found myself playing Candy Crush during most of the episode. I couldn't tell you most of the rookie names beyond Meredith and Kat, those are the only 2 that are ALWAYS on. Neither one is a good dancer and should be cut. Although outside of VK, I haven't seen any that impressed me much. I did like the VA visit. And at least it looked like Denise washed her hair before coming this year. K&J feel very disconnected this year, but I thought last year they seemed to be distancing themselves more. I also loved seeing KaShara again. I've always liked her. The vet I am most impressed with is Amy. I've been watching old seasons and I was NOT impressed with her at all her rookie year. She has shown tremendous growth, she's a quiet, positive leader. She encourages the young women and seems like she would be easy to talk to. A few seasons ago when they had the former DCC come back to give feedback to rookies, Mia and Cassie were so impressed with how far she had come. I don't think I'm the only one bored with this season...the amount of discussion on this board has gone down.
  7. That was my EXACT thought, and it involved such a huge eye roll I saw my brain.
  8. Today on "DCC Kat, Making the Team", we get to watch Kat get a manicure while taking a phone call that her host family won't let her stay because she has a cat. Ho hum. We get to watch Kelli and Judi meet with their CORE personality test rep who analyzes the women. This helps Kelli and Judi pick group leaders and 2nd leaders. I admit, I liked seeing them talk about picking the leaders, it's about time!! But seriously, we do the stupid personality tests on all new hires, they bore me in real life, they bore me on TV. In the first little bit, Kellii randomly calls in 2 of the many nameless, faceless women that are on this season (I'm BORED with all of them so far!). She cuts them without fan fair. Kelli seems over it already. One of them has bad kicks, the other I don't remember. When one tried to say how hard she is working, Kelli shut it down and said "tonight will be your last night". Uniform fittings. Kat is over dramatic and doing whatever she can to grab that screen time. Kelli randomly asks some of the women "what does your Ancestry DNA show". This feels (as does the Core tests) like product placements. I fully expect to see Kelli say "Excuse me while I read the Core tests while drinking a Pepsi at the Star and waiting for my Ancestry DNA tests. I'm a little hungry too, so I'll eat a PowerBar, that come in 30 delicious flavors, while I wait". I mean, beyond ridiculous. Travis Wall comes. I thought his choreography was interesting but to me, it depicted a seizure patient getting stabbed. He thought Victoria was the best of all of them (and I agreed! I did not have my glasses on so I couldn't see her face but I didn't take my eyes off of her, then I put my glasses on and whoa, it's Victoria!) I also thought Amy did a fantastic job. She's come a long way. He was NOT impressed by Kat. At ALL. He doesn't think she belongs. For some reason, Kelli and Judi do not agree. I don't know why, she is by far the worst there. She looks like if I, age 50 with no dance training and no rhythm, randomly decided to dance professionally. He did amuse me when he had the opportunity to do a DCC routine with them "Every gay man's dream!" And Amy taught him, she was cute, especially with the booty bounce. Overall, I give this season a total F. I've rewatched every single season and this one absolutely sucks compared to the rest. I mean, we have Kat playing the role of Morgan, Breelan, the other Kat, and those seasons where it was all about ONE person, we didn't get to know any of the other women. I'm not impressed, I'm tired of the random product plugs, Kat gets 99% of the screen time and she deserves none of it. I'm just bored.

    S14.E04: Overwhelmed

Oh the sob stories! I'm waiting for "my goldfish died when I was 9, I had him for 2 days" boohooo. They are ludicrous now.
  10. Have you seen how he looks at them? OMG CREEP! He makes my skin crawl. Don't get caught alone with him. (((shudder)))

My impressions: 1) Jennifer Colvin!! YAY!! She was great and very motivational for the rookies. More of this! 2) The rest....boring. I am literally fighting to stay awake. I don't care about them taking CORE or personality tests. Most employers are going to that model. YAWN. I don't care about the girls moving in to their apartments. We didn't see who got Barbies. Oh but instead, we got to see Judy and Kelli look at a board of pictures and figure out who should be on the team..BEFORE they even dance. 3) Kat...GET OFF MY TV!!! She is a terrible speaker, she is a worse dancer. She bores me. 4) Meredith (I think, I don't care enough to know) black hair and stunning eyes, she seems to be on some heavy duty meds. Lethargic in everything. I never felt so apathetic about any season that I do about this one.
  12. He is a disgusting pervert about these women. I don't care how good of a perceived entertainer he is, I would NEVER want a sister, friend, daughter, niece around him. He's just plain creepy with barely legal women.
  13. I found the episode completely boring. No Kitty, and only a little bit on panel interviews. Although props to Victoria for her clever answer to the banal "who are you cutting: Kelli, Judy, or Charlotte?" (And Charlotte and Judy need to lay off the botox and fillers. Charlotte looks even more like a mannequin and Judy's eyes have a strong slant now. I was watching old seasons and these 2 looked completely different) Kat, Get her off my screen! She can't dance, the camera is constantly in her face, she's boring. Kelli did not seem impressed at all and said she does not appear to be a trained dancer. Christina: She has also had too much botox and fillers. Last season she had some lines around her mouth, now they are gone but her mouth is totally misshapen. Her eyes have a different shape. The torpedoes. And her interview and dance were lame, boring, and awful. How did she make it back? I couldn't name 2 of these new rookies. But thank goodness Malena isn't one of them. I couldn't stand her last year already. CMT: STOP shoving select girls down our throats! We have had the Malena show, the Breelan show, the Morgan show, the Karissa show (the one who didn't make the team) and all those seasons were the worst. So far, I'm bored with this season.
  14. I *strongly* suspect that the experts don't do any of the picking. That's all the producers, trying to pick who will make the most drama, with one couple that might kinda sorta work as a balance.
  15. A summary of this season: Amber: the self-described "tomboy", she can go to a lovely, celebratory dinner without washing her hair. I suspect she rarely washes it, it always looks dirty and not brushed. Instead of a tomboy, she should be labeled "doormat". Her "husband" disappears for days at a time and she cries then says "ok, just be home by 2:30am." She threw way bigger of a fit when he wanted to use the spare bathroom as his than she does with him being gone. No self-esteem, pathetic, clingy. Girl, you've known him for a few weeks, run! Imagine IF (big if) you stay married how bad he will treat you. Grade: F Matt: Amber's husband. He mumbles when he talks and doesn't give straight answers. Pastor Cal asked him if he has a girlfriend, he responded "I can't believe this is even coming up". Notice he did not confirm or deny. He has zero interest in Amber, he's just in it for the money, and as Amber is so easy and pathetic, he gets sex thrown in as a bonus. He, like Luke, did the show for money and exposure. Grade: F Deonna: She started as very off-putting and hard. She hasn't been in a relationship in a decade. At first, she did whatever she could to push Greg away. It does appear she is trying to better herself and be good for Greg. My opinion of her has changed from "YUCK!" to "hmm, she seems to have done some introspection and self-check. I'll keep my mind open" Grade: C+ Greg: Married to Deonna. He seems like a genuine good guy. He's levelheaded and seems to listen to everyone. Other than that, I don't have much of an opinion, but my opinion is very favorable. Grade: A- Iris: Did you know she is virgin? Her virginity is very important to her and she is a virgin and her husband might take her virginity, and she has this precious gift of her virginity. She acts like a pre-teen, she's highly immature, and literally every conversation goes back to her being a virgin. "Keith, I made pot roast for supper. I'm a virgin so I make pot roast" "OK Iris, can I have some more pie?" " Keith, PIE? Why are you insulting my virginity like that?? I'm a virgin, this isn't the time to talk about pie, I'm a virgin, did you know that?" If she is so obsessed with her bloody virginity, why would she go on a show like this? Go away. I am now at the point I fast forward her scenes. All it will be is her talking about how she is a virgin Grade: F Keith: He is so over hearing about his wife's virginity. He's not interested in it, he doesn't want to be her first. He's counting the days. Grade: C- Liz: This chick is completely, certifiably insane. There is something like incest between her and her dad, it's just plain creepy. One minute she can be hugging and sweet to Jamie, the next, she is screeching at the top of her lungs and having a temper tantrum. How she slipped in this group, and past mental health evaluations, is beyond me. I would suspect MOST people would read her evaluation and call the men in the white coats to take her away. Even her dogs think she's nuts, they hang all over Jaime. Grade: F (and that's grading up on a curve) Jamie: A bit of a narcissistic personality. He humored Liz for a bit. He seemed to want to try. Now he is sick of the insanity and wants to go home. He is sending SOS every episode. Grade: D- The "experts": lame. I strongly suspect that they meet the couples when we do. Pastor Cal was pretty firm with Matt last night, other than that, they are barely involved.
