Mika’s favorite host, Chris Matthews, just up and “retired” in the middle of his show tonight.

He can’t be sexist, some of his best friends are women!

He kept his job after he made a date rape joke about H. Clinton last election cycle. It’ll be interesting to see how the network deals with this.

Incredibly unprepared, in my opinion. Social media in politics is an important topic, as is the connection between social media and the youth vote, and Mika acted ridiculous to try to be cute because she didn’t do her research and she can’t hold an intelligent conversation.

I saw the segment and didn’t think Mika was being polite at all. I saw her as snide and unprepared for the interview.

Not just the Bryant family. I’ve read a lot of articles about the retraumatization of rape victims, especially those whose voices were ignored because their attacker was beloved. I think this reflects a bigger issue with Joe and Mika. On most issues they have a very basic lack of empathy with real people as humans.

I can’t even begin to image what Joe thinks “acting like they belong there” entails.

Just because she got where she is by being someone’s daughter doesn’t mean the rest of us give AF about her own daughter’s political ideas.... 😂

I went over to Mika's IG to see what she's getting up to instead of doing her job or preparing for her job. It's a Know Your Value project. The great working mother newsletter and web-platform of our time, led by the every-woman Mika, is doing a feature on polo. That's right. The gentleman's sport. One of the most upper-class, elitist, classist sports in the history of sport. Looooool.

It’s also been my experience that actual diners are more prominent on the east coast too. I spent some time in Indianapolis recently and didn’t see one damn silver diner.

Did Mika’s boob come out? I mean, accidentally, not all the times she willingly took it out for Joe.

I reckon Joe has to pay his actual family to hang out with him too...

Joe was one of the crazies in the closet whose politics became normalised and helped usher in whatever it is that’s manifested as GOP politics today.

Comcast/NBC is a horrendously sexist corporate culture. They probably know KYV is a joke that will never truly push for anything, and that’s why they prop it up.

They’ll likely test them out in Israel first...
