So this is playing out again, hm. They’re so easily taken in. Well, Joe is, and Mika just molds her personality to that of the male authority in her life.

She should have married Joe earlier. She’s been out-of-bunker for around 75 days this year.

Re: eyes. It’s probably from the touch ups. Re: baby bouncing. She’s always been like that, which is so weird considering she worked long hours with Joe instead of spending time with her own kids. That said, I wouldn’t be shocked if two people with more than healthy egos who are approaching grandparenthood (especially Joe, his first marriage offspring are in their 30s and married, yeah?) try to cling to their youthful fairytale and go for a child at near-60.

I mean, contextually, to me, it’s pretty clear she meant it in a completely derogatory way. Anecdotal, of course, but I have never heard “butt boy” used in any way other than a homophobic way. It’s just, I have a hard time exusing any homophobia in 2018, latent or overt, and an even harder time explaining away the word choices of someone who is being paid millions to say words. Maybe that’s on me and I’m too cynical. But then again, Mika has sat in her bunker and lambasted others for their poor word choices. So.

That’s exactly the issue for me too. She did this on air. I get the impression neither understand why using such a slur is wrong. Even after Mika’s homophobia slipped out into public via MSNBC airwaves, Joe was tweeting about how wrong Fox is for allowing airspace for assorted -isms and -phobias.

Trump has weighed in on the matter. Looks like MJ and MSNBC were going to ignore the slur and move on. Well. They can’t do that anymore.

Did anyone offer any better apology than “SUPER BAD” and acknowledge what she said was an unacceptable homophobic slur? I finally saw a clip. It didn’t even phase her, or anyone/Joe in his separate bunker. I imagine it’s the sort of thing they express at home often enough.

The thought of Joe Scarborough as a sexual being is just too much for me.

Willie lost me forever when the compilations of his sexism and homophobia came out. There’s a reason he’s ok with being Joe Scarborough television son, I guess.

I mean, who is left almongst the 20+ year younger crowd who would put up with him? Ann Coulter (admittedly I’ve no idea who old she is), that Twitter gun rights girl from Youngstown Uni, Tomi? No one likes Joe, left or right, except Mika. 🤷‍♀️

To be honest, I’d probably skip out too if my mother was marrying Joe Scarborough. Lol

Wow. Her daughters chose not to attend the ceremony. That’s a statement.

I’ve been wondering if there’s tension between them hidden away in their bunkers and Willie, who has to show up on set every day (and probably do the bulk of the work since they aren’t in office). I’ve heard he’s leaving the show in early 2019, I guess that’s only a few months from now. We’ll see. eta: he = Willie

I already agreed with Suomi on this (and I’d heard the rumor around Midtown back this summer when he first moved them to FL, so it’s out there), but this article really is something. As soon as I read it I was like “Yup” all over again. Keep in mind, this is an article about Mika, but she really makes it about Joe. Lol. I’m trying not to be snarky because I like weddings and Mika looked gorgeous. Her dress, it’s really nice. But. I can’t help myself. Some of this. Oy vey. Do they really think they’re important enough for all that secrecy? Come on. Lol. Do they really think they’re the vanguards of American politics, political journalism, and American democracy to the point they got married in front of the Constitution? Lol... I can’t. This would be too outlandish a plot line even for the last season of House of Cards. And I agree sumoi, he is running for something. Also, Mika had her two best friends there? I remember their names. One is the woman who does everything for her. The other is her former nanny and current housekeeper. Do all of Mika’s friends work for her?
