No matter how many anecdotes the show puts in Sam's dialogue about being a mother, I'll never believe it. She just never comes off motherly to me.

I agree. If she goes and trashes the story she might end up like TR getting benched for calling out the writing (yes I know he did mention Wes Wright in that video, haha). If they're going to promote, the show most likely wants everything to be positive and not negative. She probably knows she's full of shit.

Unfortunately, she's about to get tons of storyline.

Billy Miller has not acted in anything in over 2 years at this point. He currently has nothing listed on IMDb, he's not busy acting that's for sure. He wasn't asked back for a reason....

Exactly! Haha and to be fair they did this with Billy playing Jason. In retrospect, I don't think Billy was good for the role and they cast him as Jason b/c of something about FV meeting BM at the gym. Although with Billy they never imo truly committed to him being Jason and had him playing Jake Doe for over a year. FV does this too much. It's really insulting to me for actors who audition for roles and can't get anywhere when FV just hires all his friends to play characters they shouldn't be playing.

It was 5 seconds and it was enough for me to be turned off by his approach already. But this is what happens when actors call for a job and FV gives them a role instead of kindly declining. It's not like FV went out of his way to find someone who would fit the role better, he just gave CM Drew beause he called him up for a job.

CM is not good in that clip. The expectations are quite low for him too because Billy was checked out completely, so it's not really difficult to try and do something with this character. But that was a terrible first impression for me who does like Drew. What's funny is she went right back to bitchy once the phone rang.

That's why even with CM as Drew, I don't want Sam anywhere near him. Dante can have her all day.

He wasn't innocent and Drew and Sam even offered to tell the judge the truth or whatever, and he refused saying he deserved the punishment for trying to kill Jakeson. Not to mention, Shawn recently decided to do a favor for good ole mob boss Carly when he stabbed Jason in prison. This story is terrible and should have been left the way it was originally written.

Nevermind not even bothering with this garbage.

So they retcon the story by essentially white washing everyone who was involved? That makes it better as a social justice story? No. Absolving people of letting a man sit in jail doesn't make it better. It's a cop out and a horribly written story no matter how much someone tries to twist it to fit their narrative.

At least KM's acting is consistent in not giving a crap about Drew outside of Scout. I continue to hate this rewrite. It truly is fast forward material.

Nik hired a hitman to shoot Hayden because she knew the truth about “Jason’s” real identity at the time. Tyler was still Nik. Sam, Drew, Shawn, Laura, Liz, Jax, Finn, Curtis and Hayden all knew in the original story. No one knows, but for me it is one of the worst rewrites in recent history because we saw every single thing unfold on screen.

Olivia is truly one of the most annoying characters on this show for me and that says a lot. I cannot stand this low rent version of Lois.

I really don't understand your reaction. You do this a lot. None of the posts here are overly negative. This is a message board. Some things will be liked and others won't. No one is being disrespectful at all towards you or anyone else enjoying the show. Edit: The show is rewriting an entire storyline that I saw play out on screen a few years ago. That's not a good soap in my opinion. It's lazy writing. I shouldn't feel like I am hurting someone when I say that.

I think I'll fast forward all this Hayden stuff. Unless Nik did not order the shooting, what is the point of this rewrite? There is no other way to give these characters a storyline?
