  1. I admit to fast-forwarding through most of the show. First time I've done that with The Voice. I thought Sisaundra might last another week, but never thought she would win. Feel bad for Delvin, but also didn't think he would stay to the end. For me, Audra was never really present on the show in the first place. Wonder what sort of blatant sabotage the producers will pull next week to make sure no one eclipses their chosen one.
  2. I can't wait for this season to end. I wish they were announcing the winner tonight. Delvin sounded good last week, but though he did a decent job with the song last night, it was an awful song choice. So corny. Sisaundra's performance was static. It seemed like she was nailed to one place on the stage. Jake finally got a song that suited him well, but he was too ill to do it in the really lively way it deserved. Josh sang well but I had hoped he would take that stupid hat off for once, since this is make it or break it time, and that hat somehow makes him seem as though he is bogged down, not making as much progress as a stage presence as he should be. Kristen sang well, but there were other problems as noted by previous posters. Audra was Audra. She may have sung the same song each time she has been on stage, because she always sounds the same to me. Kat keeps on fighting as hard as she can. Christina in the pimp spot. Was there any possible doubt? The coaches gushing all over her is just boring at this point. I bet next week's show will be absolute torture as the final five turn themselves inside out and rend their garments on stage.
  3. I was okay with seeing both Bria and Tess go. Maybe Bria's guitar belongs in Warehouse 13. This is the first season I really and truly don't have a favorite to win. I guess I'd narrow it down to Josh or Kristen, but that's based more on who I wouldn't want to see win. heh
  4. I also thought Delvin's performance was very good. When Usher commented that Delvin really brought that gospel sound to his performance, I agreed, and thought it added dimension and emotion to the song. Poor Jake. He seems to have lost something. He just doesn't seem invested somehow. I thought he would go far, but now it just seems to be slipping away from him. It's too bad Sisaundra didn't decide to be a rocker a long time ago.
  5. Team Adam's group song was so badly done. There was no cohesion there at all. Going strictly by the three last-chance performances, I think the voters saved the right person even though I'm not a fan of Tess. This season has such a weird, unpleasant vibe to it. There's so much free-floating desperation about it, and so much trying-too-hardedness, and straining, straining, straining. I agree with the poster who said the show should go back to one season a year and take the time to round up better talent. Give us all some breathing space, please.
  6. Why couldn't Dani's mic have died? Why couldn't Bria's? What in the world has happened to this show? It's like they've all been hit with the crazy stick. Most of this lineup is just awful, yet the coaches preen and carry on as though they were presiding over the best group of singers ever to tread the poor, tired boards of this stage. Can you imagine how the band feels? Their eyes are probably in permanent rolling mode. And their ears, oh the humanity, their ears.
  7. I would have chosen Ryan over Audra, but I knew Blake would pick Audra. Really, I guess it doesn't matter anyway because I don't think either one of them would be likely to win this competition.
  8. I'm glad other people thought Jake shamelessly manipulated that song choice, too. If I'm not mistaken, I think all of the other battlers who had to agree on a song seemed to do it fairly.
  9. Hi, everyone. I've been lurking at TWoP for around ten years. I decided to change my lurking ways and start joining in to the discussions here. Been watching The Voice since it started. Agree that Cee-Lo has often given off some really yucky vibes. He seems like those guys who corner you at a party and lean over you in a possessive and creepily threatening way.
