No, Holly didn't post a pic of herself in that nightclub. She posted a pic of herself and Jenna right before going into a Kendrick Lamar concert, but that WAS the same night she and Jenna went to the over 21 club and were spotted by a K & J spy.

I think it makes more sense to think of Judy as the Head of Choreography rather than Head Choreographer. She's the department head. She oversees and approves all the dances/dancing and makes sure it's in line with the DCC brand.

She looks about three feet tall here! Good God who are they paying to take these photos? Based on their instagram accounts, the girls themselves could take better pictures. -

I don't necessarily agree, but I'm glad you went there! ;-D -
I admit I've never even heard of an unwritten warning, so you might be right, but Kelli certainly seemed to expect Kaitlin to produce a piece of paper. Kaitlin said "He gave me a warning," and Kelli responded with "Do you have it with you?" But then again I live in a Chicago suburb and can't imagine any police officer that would follow someone to their home and not write it up.
-
I think Jenna learned EXACTLY the lesson the organization wanted her to learn from that fiasco: If you're going to break our rarely-enforced rules, DON'T be dumb enough to get caught.
-
My impression of that whole scene is that Kaitlin was lying through her teeth. She said the cop followed her home and gave her a warning, but when K & J asked to see it, she said she didn't get a written warning, the cop just told her not to do it again. That's why Kaitlin = side eye.

This 100%. I'm sure that's also why they dropped the rule that a DCC must have a full time job or a be a full time student. They've realized that, as the quality of dance improves, the more time the girls must devote to it in order to stay on the team. I'd bet most of these girls are getting significant financial help from mom and dad.

I guess I wasn't clear. You said that "without integrity and ethics, Holly's super awesome dance skills are just that." I was just pointing out that none of her potential employers in Hollywood are going to care about her integrity or ethics. They will care that she's an incredible technician and entertainer (which she is), that she's beautiful (check to that one too), and that she shows up prepared and on time (easily verified by watching any MTT episode). To suggest her career is doomed because she she slept with a player and drank while under age is just silly, IMHO.

Those 14 cheerleaders didn't actually resign, they just threatened to (in 1989, IIRC). Jerry reassured them that everything would stay the same and everybody went back to work.

I think there's an important word left out of the bolded statement above. I think neither Jerry nor Charlotte are very charitable to anyone who could damage the family business with unacceptable PUBLIC behavior. Great posts BTW, I'm enjoying the back and forth.
-
Point taken. But I was right about the Kardashians! :-)
-
What do you think happened, @sleepyjean?
-
I totally agree with the rest of your post, but I think Charlotte is handling her cheerleaders EXACTLY like her father handles the players. Jerry doesn't care if his players break the law, and Charlotte doesn't care if her cheerleaders break the rules.

Yes! And it's not just that the viewers are interested in the vets, it's that this show made us interested in them by featuring them as rookie candidates in past seasons!

I'm new here y'all, so please let me know if my passion for this show comes off as rude to any of you, but I think you're missing an OBVIOUS factor in K & J's dilemma when it comes to cutting Erica, Holly or Jenna. They can't, because those three girls know where ALL the bodies are buried. Anybody who thinks the DCC don't sleep and drink with players, or party they're 18-24(ish)-aged asses of is naive. For example, so many people here have been trying to piece together why Erica was stupid enough to change her clothes and go have a beer with friends at the HoF game. I think it's really simple; she didn't think she was doing anything wrong, because she's done it before. And the organization is complicit, because it's looked the other way for years. Think about all of the double messages the very young ladies have to parse! "It's fine to shake my cash and prizes for the alcohol soaked men in the crowd, as long as I'm a sweet southern lady/girl-next-door that never has an impure thought." "It's okay to push my boobs up and out, wear caked on make-up and almost no clothing, but I must refuse the advances of smokin' hot millionare men who are not only my age but are my PEERS, because it's my job to be an untouchable sexual fantasy with no fantasies of my own." "Wait....maybe... OHHH! I get it NOW! K & J just want me to PRETEND I'm pure and chaste, because they surely see the bullshit inherent in all these silly double standards! Time to pop some bottles and go chase some fine ass Cowboy player tail, WHOOT WHOOT! #notgonnawasteMYyouth" Honestly, if any of those girls decided to tattle and the DCC was forced to cut all the rule-breakers, they'd end up with a 12 girl roster!

Watch Judy's face during that scene, she BARELY kept herself from rolling her eyes.
-
You know she's going to L.A. right? Where the Kardashians have made their millions, where the Wienstein Company was founded? No one there is going to give two shits what she does with her downtime.
-
I also think Kelli may have had a "refill" somewhere along the way. I was a full C cup before I had kids, and a (long) B cup after. I got implants just to make 'em stand up straight and ended up a 34G. :-D
-
I'll have to listen to it again. Maybe I was just impressed that she came as close to correct as she did? So many people butcher that pronunciation (I know I did until someone corrected me.)
-
No, she said it correctly, it's french. And I'm a fashion nerd.
-
Hey, look what I found! Maybe Jerry Jones would have okay'd cheerleader/player fraternization if it weren't for the fourteen ninnies that threatened to quit back in 1989...
-
I don't get it either! And I AM a fashion fanatic, but why ask about an outfit the camera can't see?! I'm also calling Charlotte out for saying she's wearing "a Lanvin" instead of just saying "it's Lanvin." The former implies it's custom or couture, when she clearly just picked it up at SAKS. I LOVE me some Charlotte, she's almost as easy a target as her father. :-) Then I hope you don't ever feel better! I seem to remember hearing something somewhere..."Spare the snark, spoil the network". :-)
