Social Media and Behind the Scenes: AKA Everything Else Not "News and Media"
WindofChange replied to Zalyn's topic in Arrow
LOL some KC stans are pointing fingers. They have defended KC who has canceled many times for no reason and has been late and left early all the time for no reason... So it's hilarious that they point fingers at EBR for being late even though she has a legitimate reason and proof of why she was late lol -

I missed a lot of stuff. But first and foremost I'd like to say... OH MY GOD Emily canceled her live panel because she and Stephen/David (who were late too) were filming till 1am on Saturday and left as soon as possible so she can at least make it that day?! HOW DARE SHE. I mean the least she could've done was put her foot down and end work early thereby screwing up the schedule for the entire cast JUST so she could make it for an informal 15 minute panel right? -

Pretty sure the dog belongs to the guy who runs T3 athletics which is a gym where a lot of the cast go to... -
Felicity only being in 2 seconds of that 1 minute promo really pissed me off.
-
I'm worried now because when someone asked MG what we'll see from Felicity in 6B all he said was Felicity's relationship with William will deepen and she has her company which we all know won't ever get focus so... yeah I'm worried

It's really nice of you to do this considering you don't watch Arrow! But I'd be much obliged if you asked Emily what's in store for Felicity and what she's going to be up to in the remaining episodes of this season! I think most on this board seem to be wondering the same thing :) -
They're really doing the most to make me not be able to stand Dinah this season aren't they? It's a shame too because she had promise last season.
-
I was actually really surprised by this because I thought that they'd brush what Rene did under the rug and just blame Oliver for everything...
-
@apinknightmare mentioned this to me but did anyone else hear the canary cry when William's bus was being attacked? Maybe that's why Oliver now doesn't give a crap about shooting trick arrows in her direction
-
Intentionally wanting to physically hurt/kill a loved one? That's healthy! :p But I think even with this spin it's kind of a reach... Well maybe not considering according to Reddit/Ben Percy it's not abusive at all to harm your significant other when you're pissed at them!
-
BS: I'm tired of everyone not killing Oliver when they get the chance! Oliver: This is true love. Evil Laurel totally is in love with Oliver :')

Not enough Felicity in the promo

OK I have a question... How in the world does Barry build such a complex, high tech, sophisticated AI like Gideon? Because based on what we see on The Flash today that makes no sense whatsoever considering Barry has zero interest in computer science... Or any kind of science in general. It actually makes more sense that Felicity/Cisco/Caitlin made her. Felicity built the software, Caitlin helped with her biological knowledge, Cisco helped with her scientific knowledge... That makes much more sense than Barry. And I don't buy that just because he's fast and can retain information quickly he can be more of an expert in computer science/biology/engineering than Felicity/Cisco/Caitlin. I feel like this aspect needs to be retconned in order to make sense because otherwise it really doesn't.

Onto episode 208... This was such a fun episode and I have to say I really love the villain team up. They're just so fun together and have such different personalities. I'm not really sure why Darhk was brought into the equation though and what he brings to the table, but otherwise this was a great episode! Ray/Nate: The bromance between them is really sweet lol They're like the annoying brothers who you don't like a lot of the times but love because they're your brothers lol. Them mocking Sara in the beginning was great but I feel like Caity can never pull off being 'stern' so it doesn't work as well on her end. It would've worked WAY better if that scene was with Oliver. Also them saying "We're right here" to Mick/Amaya who were about to ditch them was hilarious. Also Nate was utilized well in this episode. He provided valuable historical information to the team when they needed it. They should continue this trajectory. Also them calling Dahrk/Eobard/Malcolm the "Legion of Doom" was hilarious. It was reminiscent of Roy/Felicity calling the bunker the "Arrow Cave" much to Oliver's annoyance. Sara: Uhhh Sara? Martin giving his younger self relationship advice not really knowing it'd cause an aberration is WAY different than you wanting to bring Laurel back fully knowing the harm and issues it would cause with time so you can't judge him for that... I found that judgement to be quite hypocritical on her part too considering she's done her fair share of meddling (sleeping with that woman in 201, telling Damien what happens in the future so he then could change his plans, etc.) That part really annoyed me, she was equating two things that should never have been equated. Also I'm not really sure why Sara changed her mind on grilling Martin by the end. Her change of mind was kind of jarring. It also pains me to see Sara get the best lines like how she'd rather take a nightmare that's real over a dream that's a lie... Because she never does those lines justice. That entire scene was written so well... It just didn't hit me like it was supposed to because of the acting. Because I'm glad Sara knows who she is and what she's meant to be and has accepted reality for what it is. I really liked seeing that character development... It was supposed to be poignant but I guess I wasn't very moved. Basically I think Sara is a great character, it's just the actress doesn't do her justice which is a shame. Martin: It's really sad that he has to live with knowing his daughter is an aberration and not really real. I'm really curious where this will take him in future episodes and what it will force him to do in order to protect her. Because it honestly seems like this has only brought him pain and desperation to the point where he messes up in missions because he's so side tracked. Mick/Snart: So.... this is the first time I've seen Snart and I'm so annoyed by him? I just can't stand the accent and the way he speaks. But I wonder why Mick is seeing visions of Snart? Although it was really heartwarming to hear Mick actually tell someone he loves them (lol at Martin thinking he was talking to him). Honestly I'm not really sure what's going in in Mick's head right now. I am really curious though. And I love that Amaya is Mick's confidante. Her kissing his cheek was actually the cutest. I LOVE AMAYA OK.

I watched 206 a couple of days ago so details may be hazy... I'll be watching 208 later today! Nate/Ray: I was actually quite annoyed with Nate in this episode because of his constant complaining. I get that he wants to prove himself to be a hero but jfc you can do that without complaining and dragging your feet, Nate. But I think teaming him up with Ray was a smart move because they are both essentially going through the same thing and I really enjoyed their heart to heart towards the end of the episode so that redeemed Nate a bit in this episode. Also Yay! Ray can build his new suit now! Granted it doesn't make sense that he'd be able to do it himself because he couldn't the first time without Felicity's help, but ok -_- I still wish Ray would give credit that he wasn't alone in making the suit. Bastard. Stein: Oh boy he's keeping secrets :/ But I bet the woman he was seeing in his daughter which is intriguing and really really sad. He'll probably die not knowing his daughter as well as he should :( Sara: Despite the poor acting, she was good in this episode and a proper leader. Keep Caity far away from any emotion and nuanced acting and keep the writing up and maybe then I can probably deal with her better. Mick/Amaya: Amaya is still awesome and I love that they're teaming her up with everyone on the team. She did a good job reassuring Mick this episode... However I'm not sure what caused Mick's existential crisis in this episode because we didn't see anything trigger him. What made him think he was more of an 'animal' than anything else? That part was confusing. But I do like that we're seeing more of Mick and his insecurities play up.

I think so for me Quentin made me feel his grief... Sara's grief just annoys me with how she's been but to each their own! Also of course Laurel would've probably made the story about how she got Sara back about her :)))))))))))) I will, thank you! :) Regardless of how I feel about Sara so far I'm really enjoying it and if this is the worst of the season then I'm guessing I'm in for a treat with the 2nd half of the season. I think it really helps that I love a lot of the other characters and that Sara isn't really the lead like Oliver/Barry/Kara are. They're all equals in terms of how much story they get. This is a true ensemble show.

Onto LoT 205... I actually really enjoyed this episode! Overall the plot was weak but the character work was strong even though a couple of characters annoyed me. Once again I need to note how much better this villain team up is. The actors are strong and they've had a strong foothold in DCTV before teaming up thus making them seem more menacing. Unlike Arrow, this team up actually seems earned and a formidable foe for the Legends team. Dahrk/Eobard also have such a great rapport going on there. Martin - He's my most favorite of the bunch right now. Seeing him be frustrated with his younger self and teaching his younger self to cherish Clarissa was such a treat to see. Mick - Probably my 2nd most favorite character after this episode. Him talking about making Ray more like Snart was quite heartbreaking. He misses his partner but had to let go and move on and let Ray be Ray. The end when he was snacking on a Donut because there was just 10 seconds to live was hilarious. It is worrying how little he cares about his own life though. Ray - He kind of annoyed me in this episode when he screwed up with mixing the streams. Like... just listen to Mick when he says you can't do that because he is the expert and knows more than you, Ray -_- The end redeemed him a bit more though. It also annoyed me when Ray said that he lost his company... Uh... No, Ray you didn't lose your company, you gave it away to Felicity. Sara - She frustrated me in this episode. She put revenge above the team and she keeps lashing out at her team and it's the worst. First it was Ray and then Stein, telling him that he has no one he cares about when she knows he does. I get that she is grieving but it's starting to get old. Also Sara saying Laurel risked everything to bring her back bothered me... She actually risked nothing herself, every other character (Quentin, Thea, Sara, Nyssa) suffered because of Laurel's actions. Her speech at the end was decently acted and well written. I wanted to cheer for her but it was kind of dumb of her to tell Dahrk what happens in the future. Caity's stunt work in this episode was awesome though. Nate/Amaya - They had some nice chemistry in this episode, I quite liked their interactions because we learned more about Amaya (who I am really enjoying so far). Nate was kind of adorkable in this episode? But again, I still don't really know his purpose on the show. He's a historian? Then use that properly otherwise he's just tin man.
