  1. This seems very unlikely to me- Huntington's is primarily adult-onset and it's a progressive disease. The rare cases of juvenile onset have a life expectancy of 10 to 15 years, so I can't imagine they would have survived to 67 and 88. The question probably could be answered today via genetic testing, but I suspect the Bowes-Lyon family wouldn't go for that...
  2. I like him as well- always have, ever since his original season. This doesn't mean I can't make fun of him (that hair!), but I find the endless Blais hate to be a real turn-off. I think he's just a BEC for a lot of people, but I prefer good-natured teasing to the kind of maliciousness that seems more appropriate to, say, Mike Isabella. I was also thrilled to see Dale, one of my OG favorites.
  3. Danny is my all-time favorite SYTYCD contestant. I've rewatched some of his routines dozens of times. This is so tragic 😞
  4. The woman in the green velvet was a DCC too, right? I recognize her face, but don't remember her name.
  5. She is probably the closest I've coming to having a girl crush on this entire show. She's just adorable.
  6. Sergio: "It's just, like, almost like being a doctor." Right, except basically the exact opposite of that.
  7. If we were talking about a normal job, I'd agree with you. But it would also be beyond the pale for a normal employer to dictate an employee's weight or hair color or note that she has a "thut," and yet, here we are.
  8. For argument's sake, leave out the crime part. If they told the girls not to store nude photos of themselves on their phones, and they somehow found out that one of them did exactly that (without the photos ever having been hacked or stolen), would they then be justified in saying she broke the rules? I'm 100% opposed to blaming the victim for the actual crime, but the crime was stealing the photos. Having the photos to begin with is a separate issue (and yes, you could certainly say that the DCC has no right to make rules like that, but given that this is an organization that literally writes their body weight into their contracts, I think that ship has sailed).
  9. I don't think that's considered outside the rules- it's equivalent to them having X minutes at Mood, and then later trading or giving each other fabric or notions, which has definitely happened before.
  10. Oh man, this show. It's such garbage, and yet so hilarious. One of the funniest bit has been the juxtaposition of Gus's girlfriend's melodramatic sobbing with the roommates stumbling around the room in drunken oblivion, knocking over lamps and mumbling about food on their shoes. I will admit to having a bit of a soft spot for Nilsa- not that she isn't as tragically flawed as the rest of them, I just find myself rooting for her. I would love to see her find someone and lose interest in Gus (and his reaction to that).
  11. We have to do this for Patriots and Red Sox games too- anything larger than a wristlet/clutch needs to be clear. Nothing like carrying your tampons into a football game in a see-through bag!

More importantly, his music is garbage, and I judge the taste of anyone who deems him their "all-time favorite artist." But to be fair, Lisa irritated me anyway.
  13. Yeah, Blue Apron is no joke. Every now and then my husband will make one of the recipes instead of me, and it takes him like twice as long and he usually has to ask for help multiple times. You should've seen him trying to prep kale the other night 😆
  14. I didn't take it that way- I think Kelli was demonstrating how she could have phrased her preference for team dance without insulting LA (like she could have talked up the prestige of the Cowboys without insulting the other organization that got beeped out). I've been rooting for Julia, but that's a pretty basic aspect of diplomacy she seems to lack. ETA: Did anyone figure out the name of the organization that got beeped? Could it have been the Mavs?
  15. 15 is one thing- there's little incentive to learn how to cook when you're still living with your parents, although I think it's awesome that you're encouraging it (and I promise some of it is sinking in, despite her best efforts!). Once you're an adult living on your own, though, it's pretty embarrassing to lack basic life skills, and relying on pre-prepared food wastes money and usually sacrifices taste and/or nutrition. Even if you can get by without cooking on your own, a lot of these girls seem to have DCC => marriage => babies as their life plan, and I'm not sure how they plan to feed their families if they can't open a can or tell vegetables apart 😂
