  1. At least it didn’t say Best, Samantha.
  2. Hoping I’ll feel differently as the show progresses, but I don’t feel like this lived up to the series that was suggested by the trailer. I feel like a lot of the writing misses who the characters are. Samantha wouldn’t dump everyone and peace out. Charlotte would have accepted she has a tomboyish daughter years ago and obsessed over finding clothes she’d want to go out in. Miranda was an early adopter of TiVo, dated a black doctor, learned every cultural thing she could before a brief trip to Abu Dhabi - she’d be devouring podcasts about civil rights or pretty much anything, not chastising Carrie for being part of one. And not sure why Steve is acting 75 instead of 55. All that said, I love SATC too much to not keep watching.
  3. I know it doesn't really matter at this point, but did I miss why the FBI lady was a mole for the rich killers club? Was she a sociopathic killer too, or was she being blackmailed, or just in some odd arrangement where she'd help them and they'd provide her with crimes to solve to get her promoted? As bad as this show generally was, I'll still miss it. Losing both Revenge and The Following will leave a big hole in my bad TV viewing habits.
  4. It's so clear that not being on RHOBH is as scary to Kim as rehab, honesty, etc. Whenever Dr. Phil alluded to life off of TV, she quickly found some rationale that the show and all the stresses surrounding it are completely manageable. I really hope they treat her limelight addiction at the treatment center too, And a big part of me wishes that after showing the Amsterdam clip, Dr. Phil said, "First off...what did Harry do?!?"
  5. Wow, the previews really didn't prepare me for how much less respect I could have for the Dubrows. Truly vile. I think if that Beadors vs Dubrows WWHL poll was taken again tonight, it would be even more of a landslide. And having watched the Social Edition of last week's episode, I no longer buy the Dubrows' WWHL explanation that the "Terry is so mad at David" convo had to happen because Vicki brought it up. The way that Heather introduced the topic (with no reference to "what Vicki said"), and Shannon's cluelessness about what Heather is even talking about, makes me think she was told to bring it up by production, or (more likely) she just wanted to have one more thing for Shannon & David to apologize for. Maybe the Valentine's Day party anal sex discussion where they made a point of showing him in close up?
  6. I've hate-watched for 2 seasons now too. I have to admit, I wish I had colleagues who watched the show, haters or not, so I could talk about it, snarky or not. While all my coworkers are going on and on about the latest happenings on Game of Thrones this week, I will be off in the corner, asking myself, "What IS that stunning twist that I won't see coming going to be??"
