Wow! I never would have guessed he was 33. He's cute, but with the baby face I would have thought 25!

But this guy looks younger then Laurel. Or maybe just the picture I saw... I don't know. I guess I see her better with someone at least a little more mature.

But Laurel is a good doer. And he works with underprivileged kids ya'll! So she is wonderful and awesome and we are just going to love her.

This concerns me, as I see it as a step for Laurel to be shoved into the Black Canary role.

It's seems too soon to be about the kid, but it would make sense. He has to tell Felicity, who was abandoned by her father that he abandoned a kid, and see how he now looks in her eyes... But that would only work if at some point he had learned kid existed.

If I'm trying to be optimistic, maybe Laurel is realizing she is NOT the canary, her sister, but Manhunter, a DA instead? I can dream right?

They will force a friendship between Felicity and Laurel in a stupid attempt to make the Felicity fans like her. If they do force Laurel into the BC role, and make a BOP spinoff, would we have Sara as BC in BOP and Laurel as BC in Arrow? That seems weird..

Unfortunately Dinah Laurel Lance is one version of the Black Canary, even though I think comic Dinah would be pissed at the way Laurel is portraying her. But I can see NO reason for TV Laurel to call herself Canary other then "comics"

So I'm convinced that the "Sara" episode is about her giving up the Canary name and becoming just Sara again. That ties in with the season theme being identity. I think the article made it very clear Laurel will become Black Canary, but they decided they needed a break between Sara giving up the name and Laurel taking it, to make it easier for fans to accept.

And I'm depressed again. Wildcat will train her and they will find someway to force her into the Black Canary role, even though Manhunter would suit her better.

The hopefully more could mean they are still negotiating her contract.

Looks like Sara won't die! Booked for 3 episodes and hopefully more! Can't hope for more if she's dead!

I'm trying to be hopeful that whatever they set up and planned at the end of S2 changed during the break when they saw fan response. Laurel becoming Manhunter is the perfect compromise. She still gets to be a superhero and they don't piss off the Sara fans. It's also a much more realistic path for her.

Fan Pandering is kind of a stupid argument anyway. Of course they are going to keep the fans happy. If they piss off the fans, the ratings drop and they get cancelled!

That annoys me, because I honesty think Sara would be happy to see Oliver with Felicity, and that " what will she think" implies drama that I just don't see happening.

I love both Felicity and Sara and loved their friendship. More of them together would be awesome. For me there is no threat or competition there. I never took Oliver and Sara seriously as a couple, so my perfect world is more Felicity with her and Oliver as end game, Sara as the permanent Black Canary who drops in as needed (From her BOP spin off) and she who must not be named... Anywhere that's not on my screen.

I hope it's more then that! With all the crazy Daddy theories out there, imagine if he just turns out to be the auto mechanic down the street?

They said we would in S2, but then they decided to push it back because there was too much going on in S2 that they didn't want to squeeze it in. If that's the case, I'm glad they did so we can get a good full story and not a rush job. But i don't trust them either so who knows!

They did say there were holding off on Felicity's past on purpose so they could give it better attention in S3, so I don't think she will be sidelined for Sara. Maybe it was the decision to hold off what they had planned that caused her to be more in the background. They didn't have a back up plan for her.

I'm sick of Laurel, but I love Sara and am very interested in her LOA history. I can understand how it takes away from other characters though and would be happy to see her in a BOP spin off with only occasional Arrow visits.

The only thing I want Laurel training for is finding the quickest way out of town. I want to be happy about Sara coming back, but I'm too scared it's all about destroying her for Laurel.

They will probably have her with the LOA and therefore as an enemy of Oliver's. Then somehow she will die saving Laurel and Laurel will become Black Canary to avenge her and I will go vomit.
