This episode was quite the payoff from what has come previously. Should be interesting to see the next chapter.

I totally thought of Joanna Garcia too!

They also packed snorkeling gear in the bags. I think when they found out that the excursion provided the snorkeling gear, they neglected to think about what else was in bags that might be convenient or needed. The guests did have at least one personal bag with them so they weren’t totally bereft, but it was poor execution on deck crew’s part.

The episode last night was the first one where I was laughing or caring about characters. Having the guests also helped.

She was envisioning her mom lure the girls off, so yes, I do think she believes it is Adora.

Yeah, they seemed to go to bed super-early. -
The scene with Adora and Camille was BRUTAL!

I agree with you about Patty/Nina. But tom was pretty arresting too. Could have done without the ampitation kink. Too bizarre. I assumed it was Tom she was talking about.

I too will be sorry to see the podcast go on hiatus. I've so enjoyed my structured re-watch and looked forward to hearing Sarah and John's commentary each Friday. I liked some things more as well..I can remember being compelled by the Alternaprom scene and it felt true to teen romance. I can agree that the tone between Logan and Veronia this season at times seemed off, but I still bought their getting back together..Altertnaprom showed each of their true feelings regardless of timing and circumstance, and the traumatic scenes of the finale (as well as the trial) showed them clinging together when everything else was stripped away. The Keith/Kendall scene at the end and Veronica waiting at the airport did fall flat with me. I think having Beaver/Woody as dual villains worked as well. I do agree that the urgency around the bus crash case wasn't there, and it really seemed to me upon this rewatch that the episode order was off. Anyway, Bon Voyage, Go Pirates!

PODCAST S02.E08 Go Pirates!: That's What 'They' Want You To Think

Even on rewatch, that scene got my heart pumping..Liam Fitzgerald was very menacing. As for chemistry and LGBT characters, I always got a bit of a potential LGBT vibe from Mac and her appreciation seemed like a crush at times..but I think it may have been a case of acting chemistry. -

I never thought that the other girls didn’t know...that seems unlikely to me -
PODCAST S02.E07 Go Pirates!: Surprise, It's A Girls' Night!

Listening to the podcast now, in regards to Duncan’s motivation re Meg, but I think once Duncan knows Meg is pregnant, things change for him. And of course, the Mannings child abuse had to be a plot so he and V would have the motive for Donut Run. And the babysitting plot was needed for that too..I think it worked I enjoy Mrs. Hauser, seeing Gia’s family is good for the plot, the Edwin kid and Sabrina’s dad..great character revisit/continuity I’d give the episode an A- probably Yay, and I am just hearing that Mrs Hauser is John’s MVP! -
PODCAST S02.E05 Go Pirates!: Stuck In The Middle With Veronica Mars

Just listening to the discussion about how Veronica is regarded by the community in this season. I think it’s a redemption in their eyes. Lily’s murder solved, her part in it, her dad’s fame from book, her relationships with Logan and now Duncan get her back into “grace”. She’s no longer the scapegoat. Some of them, like Madison may still hate her, but with the others, it really wasn’t personal. . (For goodness sake, one of their other classmates’ movie star dad has been shown to be the murderer. And a bus load of classmates has gone over a cliff.) Plus, it’s high school..the reasons can be shallow and fickle.
