No bummer. All is fine with him this week. Sorry for the misleading post. He wasn't killed in this episode.
-
Ugh! Peter Jacobson is on the show. I'm still pissed at his character on Colony and hope he doesn't survive this season (no matter how nice his character is on this show). I'll just imagine it was Alan Synder that was killed.

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage
mxc90 replied to Maverick's topic in Commercials
The Twizzlers' commercial where the guy is in the passenger seat, chewing a Twizzler, staring out the window, and worrying if he is too old for skateboarding. This commercial is stupid, skateboarding is the least of his concerns, and I hope the girl is driving him to a mental institution (under the appearance they are driving to a nice vacation spot). -
That didn't take long for Tommy to lay low and not have Ghost know he is alive. LaKeisha getting involved in the business is going to get her killed. The young girl jumped to the dark side immediately. She made a good case for Tariq to stop his dealing. Where was her dignity? I'm dreading this show is going to make a Tariq spin-off. I hope I'm wrong.

Whatever happened to Castel? She appeared in one episode this season (made Teresa a little nervous). Did the writers forget about her? Or was her character replaced by Oksana?
-
Isabela. She aged 10 years since we last saw her and has been training her ass off. Now she is seeking revenge. Teresa should now better than to confess to Eddie. He could have been wearing a wire.

That was the season finale? And judge is still alive? Terrible!!!! When Davis tries to do good, he still manages to mess up! Why would he open his mouth to Randall? And now he kills himself. What was his purpose on the show? Dumas should be embarrased to mention killing Birdie. He had to know she was not a part of Teresa's drug organization (Writing was weak to have George find out this way). For a moment I thought Teresa was going to punch Javier. She had to know the judge is going to ask for him after she called and told the truth. There was no other way to settle it. See ya Javier! Had you been upfront with Teresa you could have found a way out of this. Good riddance Randall! That's what you get for playing with fire. You should have shot Javier but you tried to be cute and burn him. Did King George give Teresa a pass on Birdie? I thought he would hold a grudge but he just accepted her reason and now his focus is on the Russians. Maybe he is playing the long game with Teresa and Dumas? How the hell did James know where to find Teresa after being shot? One would think his first priority would be to drive to a hospital. Now that's dedication. There has to be over 100 people killed since Teresa arrived in New Orleans and the news is just noticing. I hope they are in a new location next season. New Orleans has been abused by these people. Soon the National Guard will have to keep the peace. Was it neccessary to bring back Eddie just to be told the truth and dismissed? I can't see him back next season if James is going to return.

Kayce should have told him: Stop bellyaching! You didn't see Tywin Lannister complain! Teal Beck must give off the scent of roses. Not once did Kayce hold his nose or comment on the smell. When he said "I'm shot to shit", I laughed too. You could take that declaration two ways.

A weird season finale and season. I can't figure what this season was about. What was the point of Kayce and the other guy putting the bomb (?) on the plane last week? That never came to play this week. Well I guess they had a body count quota to meet. This should have been done to the Becks a long time ago. For the season, It's odd the Becks chose to put a hit on Beth and Jenkins. But never tried to kill John or Rainwater. I'm no gun expert, did Jenkins shoot his revolver like it was an automatic? See ya Jenkins. At least you used your shooting lessons well. With your money, you could have hired more body guards. In that town, the sherrif can keep it quiet for months. A day is easy! Is it written in the warrant for the sherrif to just leave? Can't say that it was in poor taste to shoot the Beck brother on the toilet. Rip just rides in on a horse and doesn't get shot? That's some serious spiritual protection the man gave the horse. See ya Malcolm! Chose the wrong people to provide protection. You were a dumb man! LS Agent to Kayce: What's he doing? Kayce: He's monologuing his ass off. I'm sure Kayce and Jamie would be happy to know John thinks he doesn't have enough sons. Next season, I hope they are not leaning to Tate going crazy or joining some militia.

The episode's title: "You're Still Here", I guess the show is wondering why are people still watching. The writers must have mentally checked out a long time ago. At the end, where was dead Ferris Bueller to tell us to go home?

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage
mxc90 replied to Maverick's topic in Commercials
The Humira commercial where the girl (lead singer) in the band is suffering from Crohn's Disease and is unable to get through rehearsal. She is very lucky to have found this product becuase you can tell from the other members she was "this" close to being relieved of her duties (no pun) from the band. And she didn't do them any favors by spending extra time in the restroom while they waited on stage, looking clueless, in front of an impatient crowd. What's annoying is that damn disclaimer that always follows. Now this poor girl has to worry about a few minor issues such as the risk of lowering her ability to fight infections, including tuberculosis, serious/sometimes fatal infections and cancer (including lymphoma have happened), as have blood, liver, and nervous system problems. Serious allergic reactions and new or worsening heart failure. Oh Lovely! Rock on young lady!! -
Wished he was behind the wheel in Tommy's car.

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage
mxc90 replied to Maverick's topic in Commercials
I don't like the question at the end of the Capital One commercial: What's in your wallet? These nosy clowns don't need to know what's in there. I just found this thread, now I feel compelled to watch the commercials instead of my usual fastforwarding through them. But it's good to get this off my chest! -
Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage

It's an old commercial but the State Farm "she sher she shed"or what she says is annoying on TV and radio. I wish it would stop. I am sure it was the husband that burned it down. -
Thanks. My DVR cut off right before the previews. If George is pointing a gun at Dumas, curious how he found out it was him. I can't see Teresa or Pote telling him (as Dumas is an ally). Maybe Boaz slipped the info? (Speaking of all white) in the first episode this season, it opened with Teresa and Pote in Germany (?) executing two men and later attending a ribbon cutting event. Then the police arrive to maybe arrest her and/or Pote. Nothing mentioned about that scene since. Now this show has another plot to explain to go with who shot her in the very first episode. Also, we never got the answer to: if the speedos were optional? I hope these writers aren't getting overconfident that they will not get cancelled, they are a making a lot of questions to be answered.

Poor dumb judge! Many have tried to kill that one little mexican woman. He is not aware she has paid top dollar for spritual protection. Cop could have easily shot Teresa first instead of shooting Victor. The woman is a magician!!!!!!!!!!! Elias should have hired better people that won't talk in a few minutes. Elias couldn't hear Pote talking behind him? Surprise!!!! After saying "you people have a history of killing each other" the judge really thought Marcel would be on his side? The man is really stupid! Teresa lied to King George about avenging Birdie. That will come back to haunt her. Teresa found out the hard way 30 million is not a guaranty. Boaz is probably going to pop in the Scarface dvd to learn all he needs to know about conquering Miami. Why wouldn't the son just flush the pills down the toilet instead of leaving them under the matress? He should know there is no "Pill Fairy" in this situation. The Justice League!!

Somebody better tell J and his freeloading "Guardian Angel" Angela this, they do not seem to be very happy with their current allotment.

The return and quick departure of Cowboy. It seems the writers had some jokes in the dialogue addressing his disappearance (Daddy Costner forgot about him). Earlier in the episode, I was hoping Tate had slipped and fell in shit. Jimmy! If you had been upfront with Rip or Lloyd, the two fools would have been dealt with, no money given, grandpa may have been alive today, and all wranglers are at the ranch (Tate not kidanpped). But you got your buckle (minus the cash) back, so all is good for you! I thought Jamie was gay? Did the writers make a change in his preference? If Christina is worried for her and the baby's safety, she would have left town a long time ago. The writing/plots for Monica is getting terrible. What the hell was that scene? At first, I could see Sales Associate Sally and store security watching Monica. Then it all went downhill from there with the accusation, camera not working, call for police and strip search . And to sink further in nonsense......Monica calls Beth (of all people) and she shows up to dismiss the police, destroy the store, force Sales Associate Sally to strip and hint at rape (WTF). But she got an apology out of her. I'm sure in real life Beth's response/action is the best way to go for folks taking notes. Where did the other two employees go? Lunch break? If Monica lived in that town all her life, she must have known the store has a reputation for being racist or the prices are outrageous. Why bother go in there? Support her local people's business. No matter what Beth did, she didn't gain any points in my book. Still evil! The police is weak in this town. Poor Jenkins thinking there was some truce between him and John. The Becks should have been dealt with a long time ago. What was John waiting for after Beth/Jason were attacked? Dropping a bomb (or whatever that was) in an airplane is not enough. I still would be surprised if Tate's dead. How long was Tate missing? The ice cream never melted. Maybe there are too many episode in this season and the writers didn't have enough material to fill it.

As much as I don't want to see any flashbacks next season, I would like to know why Jake wasn't allowed to ever see Craig. Jake had to put up with the insult by Smurf after she dumped him for Colin and still he took her back with the babies (and Smurf pointed a gun at him as her way of saying hello). The guy seems like a likeable doofus. Smurf could have treated him better. Whereas Pam gave Smurf a few dollars, Smurf promised to pay her back (she doesn't like to owe people), I think Pam went to jail/didn't rat on Smurf and later Smurf gave her most of her fortune. Pam and Jake looked out for Smurf at her worst time and were treated differently by her. I vote for Pam Grier to play Pamela next season.

Weak finale. Couldn't live up to last week. It seem last week was the finale and this week was just a setup for next season. Except for Deran/Adrian, nothing really happened. Young Smurf showing her great parental skills a few days after giving birth. The babies in a crate is sad to look at. Was there an alert on people's phones or "breaking news" on every tv station that Smurf died? How fast the "Cody" name lost value after Smurf's death. Did Pope anticipate the beating Mike and the others got would be posted on Youtube and the Cody name will get it's shine back? What a genius! Good job by Angela playing Pope into it. I'm sure Marjorie wasn't far enough to hear her dish get thrown in the trash. Pope must be on a diet (no carbs). Angela must be on drugs to call J his "Guardian Angel" and tell people she is with the Codys. Jake could have easily told Smurf to get lost after she dumped him for Colin but he let her back in. And then gets rewarded with a bullet to the leg years later. Nice for the cops to show up and pay respects. Probably stole some of Smurf's furniture and searched the house for evidence. Angela finally sobered up and decided to go to work. She had the nerve to act surprised she didn't have a job anymore. Why didn't she tell the boss she's with the Codys now? I'm sure he would have hid in the corner with fear. Wish Smurf was alive to see Pope isn't the pitbull she thought he was. Nice scene with him and Deran. Smurf is cold leaving the majority to Pamela and cutting out the boys and Lena. For years, they pulled off all those heists, got her rich, and she left them scraps. Where was Baz's FedEx? We need to see more of Pam/Smurf to know why Smurf looked out for her. Poor Craig! Has to see all these men and them telling her in cetain ways they banged his mom. No Frankie. You didn't pass. You are not replacing Smurf next season. Deran should have left with Adrian. He has nothing left in CA. At least Adrian lived. I hope Billy is not back next season. He is boring. That was messed up what he said to Jake about Craig.
-
"Too Male"! You're doing a great job Jeffrey (you jerk)! "The Rook" is a cheap replacement! What will be his excuse when that's cancelled? I shouldn't knock him too much, he did add old "Kinght Rider" episodes.
-
Silly me. From the camera angle and the goofy look on his face, I thought he (as was I) was trying to read the message on her shirt. So this kid's purpose on the show is to be the "clown" and taught a lesson in every scene he's in? The line "What the fuck are you looking at?" should be said by Beth in most of her scenes. Must be in her contract to have her chest on display.

Pote gets to walk around the hospital with two guns? These Brenda flashbacks are useless. We already know how much Teresa loves Tony and her role as godmother. Just an excuse to get the two actors some work. Nobody ever suspects the nurse? I guess Victor doesn't watch a lot of TV. I had to laugh when the cop told Pote "we're going to catch whoever did this". Did he solve any of the other 30 plus murders this season? How did El Gordo's nephew know there was a shipment being sent that night? Is there a spy in Teresa's group? Why wouldn't he go after Dumas or Oksana first instead of hitting a truck? Unless Chichio ran out of bullets, he had an easy shot a the guy with the blow torch and the other man. Pote thinks "meditation" means you're a hippie? OK! This man is the right choice to be Teresa's right hand. Good grief! Never take tea from a nurse Pote. You slipped on the job! I'm sure he'll tell Teresa he watched her the whole time. Dumas' men failed to hit El Gordo, he shouldn't have felt too confident to take down Boaz. Why were Pote's men positioned far away from Teresa room? Fake nurse wouldn't have had a chance if they were there. So after Javier gets a beating, Boaz now remembers blood is thicker than any woman. Javier is thinking: He couldn't arrive at that conclusion before the first punch? Teresa is the Boss and I'm a soldier!! When did Boaz lose his hopes/dreams and accepted this position? We are going to kill them all!! New Orleans is in some serious trouble! At least King George returns next week.

I didn't think of this. I thought they were going to kill the Beck brothers.
