  1. Did HGTV make a mistake? You guys are already above talking about an episode you watched, and I'm not sure if it's a new one. I am confused right now...
  2. I haven't seen Sherry Yard judging in a long time. She knows about the food, gives constructive criticism and doesn't keep harping on the negative stuff like Nancy does. Replace Lorraine with Valerie Bertinelli. I haven't seen her really around adults on these shows. Gives her a chance to communicate better. I would do Jason for Duff because I like all of his words for judging and he was really great. Even Susana can join the judging panel because I loved her last fall.
  3. Destiny74, Jessica went home. I hope you're happy, because she was a mess. Today's jelly bean twist I thought was also a mess. When Jessica got the licorice, I was even more disgusted. Can someone send me a picture of real licorice and how it is used in candies? I don't know if it is an actual vegetable or not. Even though I didn't like Jessica, I felt bad for her getting sent home. She was a very great baker.
  4. Dee Dee wasn't one of my favorites, but I was definitely sorry to see her go. She was bright, sweet and had a great personality. The dishes this week. I don't think I'd eat any of them. They looked disgusting, boring, and unattractive. I think this would have been alleviated if the format of this show would have been much like GBBO, where there's none of this stuff. The name of the show is not The Most Disgusting Foods, it's Spring Baking Championship. Replace judges: For Nancy, maybe do Aunt Sandy. Keep Duff. For Lorraine, maybe do Ina Garten.
  5. Agree! Valerie Bertinelli knows about the food more, and doesn't do physical things like that while still having a sense of humor!
  6. Notes about Episode 2: - I agree with @mlp about Nancy Fuller. Why did she think it was a good choice to pinch Duff? She shouldn't have. She needs to know how she would feel if Duff pinched her right back. This is not a good show for her to be a judge. Replace her with Valerie Bertinelli. - I now loathe Jessica after the incident where she ruined Dee Dee's and Caleb's cakes. I think she did do this on purpose to get on her nerves. She should've gotten emotional and felt sorry for what she did. She should've gone home and Andrew should've stayed.
  7. After looking at these comments, I don't miss Bobby, but I do have to be added to the list of people who miss Jesse and are not used to this Khan character. He is not obnoxious, but he still is a bit annoying to some, so I'm trying to help others by requesting to bring back Jesse. Jessica doesn't bother me, but I can see why people don't like her. She says she's an "awesome" baker when she's actually not. I liked Michelle with the salsa cake, so I was sad to see her go. I think Cristina should have gone due to her cake being a mess.
  8. I liked Jesse. He really knew what he was doing, even though he was on the Bachelor.
  9. Please add me to the list of folks who ain't seeing no Claudette. Tanya: "I left France in 19 dadada."
  10. I agree with all of this. Laura was very sweet, kind and loving, unlike other folks here. Very sad to see her so embarrassed like that. Sorry to see her eliminated in Sudden Death; she deserved praise. I'm happy they chose Food Gasm as one of their least favorites. They were such a fail! Chewy bread, greasy bread, cold salad. They all should've gone home. Ms. Carrie needs to go. She is just an amateur who's here to socialize with others and not excel with her food!
  11. Question: Where did Sasto and Carrie go?
  12. No no no no no no no no! Not Jasmine! Why did you let her go? She was my favorite! I knew Rahanna and Milo the Silo were gonna make it this far. They seem pretty skilled. :-)
  13. By reading these comments, I hear Jennifer won!
  14. I liked Amy's hairstyle, but certainly she was a bit too confused and didn't blend in with the rest of the folks, so I am relieved she is gone too.
  15. The glow-in-the-dark episode made me so happy that I got my bones dancing! Milo, Henry, Jasmine, Rahanna, and Kenzie all have a special place in my heart. They are both genuine and sincere, and know how to cook, even though Kenzie was on the bottom this week. I hated Maxine and was unfortunately not sorry to see her go. Real chefs are not whiny and complaining all the time and messing with their hair and all that. She was reminiscent of my 3-year-old daughter. I think the tactics that Extra Goofball and Ms. Horrible used were way off the charts this episode. Also, I am even more disgusted when Ms. Horrible eats too much food, and then it ends up all over her mouth. I love Tiffany Derry and I was so pleased to see her judge this episode. I don't watch Top Chef, so I don't know much about Casey. There was something about Maizy Stella that left me flabbergasted. I think it was something that The Whiny Crybaby said in the elimination challenge. ETA: Maizy Stella is only 14 years old and she still is growing up to be a young adult, so I am pleased about that. I guess The Whiny Crybaby didn't know her age, but now that she's gone, I can enjoy the show even more! I still miss Fuller. I hope he feels better!
  16. I don't really watch Jose Garces that much, so I find him bland and boring. Guess who's battling next week? Stephanie Izard! I can't wait!??
  17. I absolutely can't stand Nancy Fuller! Her hair is a wreck, her personality is very mean girl and obnoxious, and she seems drunk all the time, not only when she's drinking beer! She is not a good example of a responsible judge! FN needs to replace her! I like Lorraine, however she is way too stringent when she's around Nancy, so I'd rather have her alone. Duff is an awesome judge and a real role model! He is very consistent, and very neutral around Nancy and Lorraine! It almost seems like he's homogenous LOL.
  18. I liked Dur's matryoshka cookie, but I think Gray was much more decent. He is so talented and I would like to go visit his bakery, "Pete's Sweets", anytime! I would have picked him or Walters as the winner.
  19. Ok, Stephany I am rooting for you. Andra should have been the one sent home.
  20. IMO, Andra actually lives on the bottom few. She has been making so many dishes thinking that she improved her progress, but still she has poor quality and skills; she keeps eliminating her fellow bottomers. Aristo was my favorite because I love traveling! But now I have no idea who to root for.
  21. Guy's Big Project is not only looking for a personality, it's looking for a real food authority. Not just "Soups, Stews, and Chilis" and "The Deli Hunter", but "Crazy Creations" or "Grill Dads" or "Ginormous Food". A real food road show is like Zane + Lindsay + Mark + Ryan + Gigi & Nonna with a little bit of Josh Denny. Mix 10 tablespoons of each, add a little bit of spice, and guess what? You get a real food road show.
  22. What about corn-u-cop-i-a? Do people pronounce that wrong?
