  1. No it sure doesn't and I'm certainly not the person to diagnose anyone. I've just rarely seen someone behave the way she does so consistently and with such disregard for how they're being perceived that it strikes me as very odd. And I watch a lot of bravo shows. For all the arguing and bitching and moaning these housewives do in all the franchises there is something a tad different in my opinion with whatever the fuck Ramona is doing. But, I could be totally off who knows. I am not a shrink and I don't play one on tv. I know nothing about any of that!
  2. This isn't the first time I've wondered if Ramona has some sort of stunted mental capacity. I don't know the right phrase to use there, so help me out if you think you know wtf is going on with her, because it doesn't actually seem normal. She often fails to behave like an intelligent, socialized adult in these situations and has no concept of how she's coming across (or doesn't care, but for some reason I feel like she doesn't 'get it'). It's like there's a link missing in her brain, preventing her from behaving appropriately. It would be fascinating if it wasn't so damn obnoxious. In other news, what is Carole wearing to dinner and why....???
  3. In most cases yes. The problem is training can be different depending on the department, and some officers and dogs get less of it than they need. Or you get a handler that is just shit with dogs and all the practice in the world can't give a person the 'feel' for it they need to be most effective. Unfortunately I don't think many departments choose k9 handlers based on their dog skills and ability to handle a revved up dog. It's usually a pretty coveted position so people WANT to be handlers but wanting to be one and being a GOOD one are different things. I think people would be surprised to know just how little training some of the dogs and handlers get especially when it comes to ongoing training. (Not the case with every department of course, but sometimes....) All of this is way more than you asked for but I've been stewing on it since starting this show lol. The k9 scenes always seem to irritate me without fail.
  4. I honestly keep waiting for his dog to bite him when he reaches for the ball to get it back. Flex doesn't have a decent "out" or release trained on him so it always seems a fight when he wants to get the ball back. Flex is one of the few dogs on this show that actually does his job (some of these k9s make me go wtf) but it's clear that all that drive is also a potential hazard too and certain portions of his training are lacking. Makes me wonder if that's why we sometimes see him reward the dog and other times don't. Usually they reward for every correct hit, at least they should Don't get me started on all the poor dog handling I've seen on this show in general. The cops who don't reward properly, have bad timing, give double and triple commands, etc. It's sad as shit to see that on my tv. Half the time the dog isn't alerting on anything and they say it is. Not so. Sorry this has turned onto a dog rant, but someone mentioned Flex and I couldn't help myself.
  5. I wonder what the burn out rate is for cops who do this sort of work. They're continuously exposed to people doing the absolute most to ruin their own lives and the lives of people around them. Not my car - yes, it is. Never seen that pot before - it's in your purse I don't smoke - They find drugs in the car Haven't had anything to drink - Blows a 9000 on the breath test I ain't trickin' - spoiler alert, she sure is People who cart their kids around on drug deals Folks trying to swallow bags of crack with children in the backseat That one guy who tossed his kid around like a ragdoll while being taken down by police No one can ever follow instructions as if they actually speak english. How these cops don't lose faith in our species is a damn miracle. All the props to the ones who can remain polite and professional after seeing this every single day. I only watch it on tv and I feel second hand frustration.
  6. Ahh I see, thanks for clarifying. I for some reason thought she was into him at first and wanted him to just "man up" and make it happen but he never did. I wonder if they are just forbidden from saying they aren't attracted to someone and have no desire to stay married or move forward until the end of the show, and have to skirt around it like this for x amount of episodes.
  7. Every time Sheila flips out at Nate about something tiny and ridiculous, like the he put the air conditioning up two notches instead of one, or says tom-aaa-to instead of tom-AH-to, I want him to leave her at the end of this show. He is not perfect by a long shot but he seems like a decent guy who doesn't actually deserve her random temper tantrums. She will fight about anything just to pass the time, this dude should peace out. (but do her a solid and leave her a vibrator before you go, Nate. As a parting gift) In other news, I'm sick of Cody bitching and moaning about lack of sex. He has no one to blame but himself for that, he missed the small window of opportunity where she was receptive to that and he could have run with it, now he's 100% in the friend zone and his whining isn't helping, it's only digging him deeper. Every time either one of them makes a comment about how they're taking it slow and hoping to build to something more I think they must know they're lying. Nothing wrong with taking things slow, nothing wrong with not sleeping together until you're ready but they aren't building toward that, no way no how. I think if someone offered her two choices, sex with cody or a five minute lay down covered in hissing roaches, she'd be signing up for a roach snuggle no problem.
  8. That little smile from Jorge after Anfisa smacked the shit out of him is all the proof I need to know he likes that sort of thing. I'm convinced he gets off on it. Which might actually work out for them because she seems capable of dishing it out....but he's a lying liar that lies, so.... When she got up and he flinched I laughed out loud at my tv. I don't condone violence, but there's something about this guy that just makes me want to high five her for that smack and see her take everything he has left (however little that may be) and leave him penniless and alone. He set himself up for all this and somehow can't seem to wrap his brain around what he's done wrong. Blaming her for spending his money or still being upset about finances, like she should just love him no matter what and overlook the fact that he's broke as hell. Nah dude. She didn't sign up for that, told you upfront 82728209 times why she was there and what she expected, and you continued to lie to her. But she should still love you?? (here's a hint, she never loved you in the first place, and she never lied about it either.) Sigh, these two are the gift that keeps on giving. I am curious how this will all play out.
  9. Catching the rerun in the background, and I think I figured out why I tend to be on team Craig more often than not. There’s something about how he’s always so eager for approval that tugs at my cold, dead heart just a little bit. He’s almost childlike about it sometimes. When he was showing his friends the handkerchief(?) he sewed, clearly proud of it, and then Shep fake sneezed in it I sort of wanted to punt Shep. Craig gets that reaction quite a bit when he’s excited about something, maybe he’s just an easy target idk, but if there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s when people shit all over someone else’s happiness. Even when it’s something tiny like that…maybe even especially when it’s tiny like that, because it takes two seconds to not be a dick. Just let your friend be happy about something for fucks sake, Shep.
  10. I feel the same. Just when I think maybe he's got some redeemable qualities and might simply be someone that makes poor life choices but is harmless enough, he says something awful like this and I am reminded that he's nothing more than an entitled douche.
  11. So I was really holding out hope through out this entire baby arc that Cameron would actually remain child free and come to terms with that choice. How refreshing would that have been. I should have known that she’d come around to reluctant acceptance of popping out a kid. Of course she would. Sigh. Oh well, maybe someday the alternative outcome will be showcased on tv in a positive light. Maybe…. In other news, Craig and Naomi continue to look super unhappy with each other every episode and I’ll be curious to see what season they break up in and if that will be a storyline in itself. He looked pretty miserable in that convo and much as he may be obnoxious and somewhat of a lay about, I don’t get the feeling that he’s vicious in nature or tries to intentionally hurt her. To steal Kathryn’s phrase, I just don’t think he’s that deep. I do get that feeling from her though. That some of how she treats him is intended to cut the quick. Time will tell if they’re both really serious about making some changes. Not holding my breath there. Also, that hug between Kathryn and Thomas….ya’ll, these two idiots just deserve each other. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but some people just fit in a completely dysfunctional way and no amount of fighting it will stop them from eventually drifting back together to fuck up each other’s lives again and again. I am not even convinced that either of them are as put out by the other as they claim to be. I think they need to go live unhappily ever after and be done with it. Last but not least, Maybe I’m in the minority here but I have a soft spot for Austin and think he seems sweet, like a happy go lucky, sometimes dopey puppy. I dig that about him and it was nice to see Chelsea finally admit she likes him enough to be exclusive. Though I don’t buy for a second that most of their “conflict” wasn’t just made up for the cameras anyway. Shep needs rehab. Time now.
  12. Watching the rerun in the background and randomly noticed the awful editing in the Craig and Naomi scene in the house. One second she has the cat, the next second she doesn't, then she's got him again, then he's gone. Clearly that convo didn't actually happen in the order, or maybe even in the way it seemed. Nice reminder of how they like to tinker with stuff in the editing room. There's only one other explanation for this. Gizmo is magic. I am willing to accept either possibility on this one. In other news, Chelsea trying to be all girl next door with her spoonful of peanut butter was....something. I mean kudos if you can actually swallow all that and not choke but I think she's reaching. Unrealistic.
  13. Landon seemed slighted wasted the entire time, wonder how much of that apology was just the tequila talking and if she even remembers half of what she said on that whole trip. Thomas isn't wrong that she's a flip flopper, he's just wrong to be surprised by it. Also, I sometimes get second hand embarrassment from watching her scenes and I can't pinpoint why because it's not like she often says anything specifically cringe worthy, yet I still find myself cringing. Maybe lack of self awareness is enough. Naomi is a wet blanket all the time, or so it would seem. I'm not saying Craig was right, he was pretty obnoxious in that argument scene, but as his partner she could have waited to call him on it until they were in private. I think that's what bugs me the most about her is that she'll make comments about someone she's supposed to be in love with in front of their friends. Not cool, don't like it. Take him to task and slap his wrist back in the hotel room instead. Still not sure why these two are together, they seem miserable. They're both young and attractive, they could cut each other lose and go find someone else! I did appreciate how Whitney made certain to call Key West a shit hole and then we see the beautiful resort Cam picked and how lovely the whole thing was. I won't be taking travel advice from Whitney. Shep blaming his behavior on being drunk not once but twice made his apologies seem insincere but I guess if Austin and Chelsea find it acceptable...ok then.
  14. Greenville is very safe overall. Live pd mostly stays in the bad parts of town, which are few. Just give downtown greenville a google look at the photos, it's beautiful there! Nothing like what you see on the show. Most of the surrounding cities are very nice too, don't be too worried ;)
  15. Because her parents probably pay her bills already so why should she accept a job she doesn't want to do? 200k paycheck or not. I wouldn't be surprised if he cuts her off soon, gives her a taste of what the real world is like when no one is footing your bills. The scene with her at the docks almost felt a little like a test. 'Let's see if maybe she'll come around' and when she didn't the disappointment in her father's face was pretty clear. At least I saw it. Unless her parents want to support her for her entire life, or until she ropes a man into marrying her and taking over bill paying duties, then they NEED to cut her off. Tough love is the only way someone like that will learn.
  16. Absolutely, if it bugs her that much to want to leave then she has the right to do so. I am surprised she's stayed as long as she has because clearly they fight about it a lot and it bothers her enough to keep nagging at him. But judging by wwhl they're still together so maybe craig is waking up at the asscrack of dawn for her now.
  17. Shep may as well be an intact golden retriever. Friendly, intelligent, humps everything. There’s a reason people love goldens but good luck finding one that’s loyal to you and not just as eager to run off with the next person (woman) down the street. (no offense to golden owners) I feel for Craig because I can relate to his sleep schedule. I know how difficult it can be to find a partner that understands it. Some people just function better when they keep unconventional hours, and it is possible to be productive at night. If sleeping all day automatically makes someone lazy then third shift workers would all be “lazy”. If he’s doing what he needs to do and has structured his life to be able to do his work at night, then Naomi needs to let the boy sleep when he wants. He’s an adult. Pretty sure he was probably sleeping till noon when she met him, this isn’t new.
