  1. They always make it sound like everyone's in it "for the right reasons" and then we meet them. I'm debating taking this off auto record. The shame is that it could be (and maybe once was? - I haven't been watching that long) a really interesting concept if they would just play it straight.
  2. I wish I had kept my name. I can't even say I didn't know it was an option as my sister got married a few months before I did and kept hers. My only excuse is I was worried about the 7th graders I was teaching not understanding. Decades - and an entirely different profession later - that seems silly!
  3. Apparently sending dogs off to be trained is a thing. I learned that fairly recently. The owner gets videos and does go at the end for a little hands on training.
  4. If any of them decide to say "yes" on Decision Day, they would be smart to consider this. And yes, his bankruptcy and flip comments shouldn't have helped (whether they did or not of course is up to her).
  5. Thanks so much for bringing those over. For some reason, which I could never verbalize, I'm someone who enjoys the show more when I know this. It's sort of a shame that if they actually tried to match people they could have much better results. But as long as this has been on, if any of these people still think that's what's happening, I sort of think it's on them.
  6. And she wants all those same people to know she was proposed to THREE TIMES! Three, mind you.......
  7. DH and I have been together since 1973. We've always both worked and never had a joint account. If a couple wants a joint account, fine, but it's not the only way to go.
  8. I really missed seeing them work with the choreographer.
  9. I couldn't even bring myself to record. It was TWO HOURS????? SERIOUSLY????
  10. LOL! I just reread my message and see it almost sounds like I was suggesting that. Nope - I'd want no part of these shenanigans.
  11. DH and I will hit 49 years this summer. Maybe they need an expert who's got a long track record in a single marriage? LOL! Do we know how long Pastor Cal has been married? Just googled it - since 2009.
  12. One of the new "experts" is separated? https://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/pictures/married-at-first-sight-season-15-cast-photos-air-date-experts/ Franklin, 44, is a film producer and relationship expert. His 2016 New York Times bestselling book, The Wait, was co-written with his estranged wife, actress Meagan Good. The two married in September 2012, but Franklin filed for divorce in September 2021. “After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected,” Good, 40, and Franklin said in a joint statement to Us Weekly at the time. “We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There’s no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.”
  13. Yeah, why DON'T they have them meet with a financial planner (and some other real experts)? No drama? (And yeah, that whiteboard was ridiculous. LOL!)
  14. O makes ZERO sense when he rambles on and on. He wants kids? Or does he want to travel? Or does he want a stay at home wife who cooks and cleans? The way he belittled Katina's job was horrible (I work at home and believe me, I work!). And he continues to strike me as someone who could be very scary as a spouse.
  15. I do have to give a point to Steve for how calmly he handled the "baby in a year" announcement. And I think he surprised Noi. Once they legally marry these "contestants" I guess there is only so much the 'experts' can do but I want them to rescue Katina before it's too late!
  16. Thank you! I was puzzling over - is his neck tattooed - does he cover it - etc.? You make much more sense. LOL!
  17. Newish to the party here. Are they all with the person the show paired them with?
  18. Break a tear like cry (which doesn't sound like "chair") or break a tear like go on a rampage (like "go on a tear" which does sound like "chair")? The latter isn't much better than breaking a chair.
  19. That is such a perfect way to put it! I wonder why she hasn't called him on it more directly?
  20. It seems to me that there is a difference between being diagnosed with celiac disease and jumping on the gluten-free diet as a fad. The former folks I take very seriously (which includes a good friend); the latter folks not so much.
  21. I had to keep glancing at my little cheat sheet which includes their ages. They keep acting like surly teenagers. I couldn't help mentally comparing to where I was at that age.
  22. I'm sure you're right! And if by any chance they don't, they will now!
