Mixed families should be *expected any where in the world unless someone has been living under a rock. And it speaks volumes that it took her to move out of the "dark light ages" There was a time in American TV history that only Whites were represented, period. Unless there was a stereotypical role for a POC, and even then some would be played by a white playing in "black face". It took TV and movie execs a long time to represent minorities with in the same way they did Whites (kinda). For those who are shocked... it's time to wake up, For the rest of us , the thought is "its about time."

Interesting that the first thing that caught your eye was Romeo being Black and Lord Montague being White when we have not seen Romeo's mother. Same with Rosalind and Olivia. I think the easiest visual would be Barak Obama and his White mother. If you can see how that exists then you can see Romeo and his father as not some kind of politically correct garbage but a father and his son.

We are all welcome to our opinion. My having to explain it or agreement with it by others is not a requirement.

The truth is that works for Whites, that does not work for minorities. What one does that is publicized will always be applied to the entire group.

I could go along with the presenting Black women statement if she didn't let a man basically do a Trump style sexual molestation on her 10 mins after meeting him. Then get on TV and say she liked it. Let him call her sloppy seconds and he get all excited when her girls show up. And if she picks him what would that say about and to Black women as a whole. If she picks Peter (now starting to doubt it) and from what we have seen so far, getting to know a man long before you let him stick his tongue down your throat would be a great way to representing Black women and all women in general. You get as much respect as you demand.

This is the third podcast that I keep finding the details incorrect. Because I don't want to be permanently banned from the site I'm only going to mention one. Bryan did not say Peter got his sloppy seconds. Peter didn't say a thing about kissing Rachel, it was Will that stated he kissed Rachel and Bryan was talking about Will.

Sorry, I'm just so done with Kenny. He even showed pics of his mother and daughter together. How does that make him more attractive for Rachel? Done, done and done.

(1) Eric is falling for Rachel and thus he's falling apart. The stress is getting to him. When Peter stated relationship therapy helped him be more "measured in his thoughts," this is where Eric is falling down and I had such high hopes for him. In something like this show, controlling your thoughts and insecurities has to be and is an absolute or the guys will see you as weak and they will all go in for the kill. (2) As for Peter and not thinking of having sex with Rachel, well, I'm not going to say he's lying but, didn't he state "you know if we have kids at some point, they're pretty much screwed?" Unless he was thinking about artificial insemination or IVF, of course he was "thinking about sex", that's obvious. Yet I still don't think he was lying. "Measured in my thoughts", is just that. Keeping the direct thought of making love to someone you're attracted to as far out of your mind as possible and controlling the possibility of falling too fast will keep him out of the trouble Eric's finding himself in right now. For me I would be doing the same thing. Looking toward a future but not getting too much into the details. LOL.
