Why do you have to start your investigation about a Ghost Highway in the middle of the night, instead of in the daytime when you can actually see what is going on around you. Sister Andrea you do not want to be alone in a bedroom with Dave! Or maybe you do? Who did it better, Kristen or Miss Piggy?

Media for So Help Me Todd: Not Private Investigations
AnimeMania replied to Meredith Quill's topic in So Help Me Todd
So Help Me Todd THURSDAY, September 29 CBS 9 pm So Help Me Todd will be filming in Vancouver between July 27, 2022 and December 16, 2022. Despite their opposing personalities, a talented but directionless P.I. who is the black sheep of his family begrudgingly agrees to work as the in-house investigator for his overbearing mother, a successful attorney at the Crest, Folding & Song Law Firm, who is currently reeling from the recent dissolution of her marriage. Marcia Gay Harden stars as Margaret Wright. She is a razor-sharp attorney and a self-made success who put herself through law school to support her three kids when her first husband died. Very controlling and always aware of appearances, Margaret must rely on Todd, her least reliable child, when her 2nd marriage mysteriously unravels. And while she can’t condone Todd’s less than legal tactics, she’s impressed by his ability to sleuth out information. Is hiring Todd to work in her office a serious gamble? Skylar Astin is Todd. Todd’s life is currently in shambles. He is the “problem child” of his family and a disappointment to his super-achieving mom. A former private detective, he lost his license after some messy misunderstandings. Quick on his feet – and a little too quick to resort to lying in order to get what he needs – Todd may be unorthodox, but he is impressively good at what he does. He’s also a master of tech, scrappy surveillance and social media. Madeline Wise will play Allison, smart and high achieving, she is an ER trauma surgeon and Todd’s diplomatic sister, eager to keep the peace between Todd and their demanding mother, Margaret. Allison shoulders many family obligations that her two brothers shirk. Often busy, and a bit scattered, she is married to the very good-looking but doltish Chuck, whom she knows is her intellectual inferior. She is dissatisfied with the picture-perfect life Joan designed for her and is teetering on the brink of taking it all apart. Inga Schlingmann portrays Susan, a “stylish legal bombshell in Clark Kent glasses” who works with Joan. A former girlfriend of Todd’s, she clearly has moved on, is engaged and has just bought her first home. When she broke Todd’s heart years ago, it was because she ultimately found him to be too much of a child. Rosa Arredondo will play Francey, Margaret’s “Girl Friday.” An efficient assistant who can make anything happen in any amount of time, Francey tends to both Margaret and Todd in equal measure. She is often more affectionate with Todd than his own mother. Instinct tells her that Margaret and Todd working together is good for them, even if it is a bit explosive and chaotic. Margaret and Francey have a secret that has bound them together for years. Tristen J. Winger portrays Lyle, very high maintenance, difficult and always by-the-book, he is one of the two in-house licensed investigators working in Margaret’s law firm. -
Farzar July 15 Netflix 10 episodes Farzar tells the story of an egotistical human warrior, Renzo, who liberated the planet Farzar from the evil alien Bazarack, and then established a human settlement under a huge dome, becoming the Czar of FARZAR. Years later, FARZAR is under attack by the evil aliens once again after Renzo’s well-meaning, but not-so-bright son Prince Fichael and his special crew “S.H.A.T.” (Special Hostile Assault Team!), made up of a human-solider-turned-cyborg (Scootie), clashing conjoined twins (Mal/Val), an unhinged scientist (Barry Barris), a highly incapable mutant (Billy) and a mischievous little alien known as a chaos-celot (Zobo) venture outside of their protective domed city. As they begin their journey to fight the aliens that want to kill/eat them, Fichael quickly discovers that all is not what it seems and he may be living a lie. Barry, Mal and Val, Renzo, Scootie, Fichael Kari Wahlgren will appear in multiple roles including voicing Mal (a grizzled soldier) and Val (a sweet and dedicated preschool teacher). Bazarack Dana Snyder will play Fichael (son of Czar Renzo and Queen Flammy), Bazarack (leader of the “evil alien” rebels), and Billy (a mutant with giant lobster claw, chicken beak, rhino horn, skunk tail and various other… parts) in the series. Lance Reddick will voice Czar Renzo, the “elected” czar of Farzar. Married to Queen Flammy. Grey Griffin as Queen Flammy queen of Farzar. David Kaye as Barry Barris, the greatest scientific mind on Farzar... until his nervous breakdown) and Clitaris Jerry Minor as Scootie, a former human soldier who lost almost his entire body in battle and is now a cyborg. Carlos Alazraqui as Zobo, a mischievous little alien known as a chaos-celot, a species of aliens who feed on chaos. Brian Hanby Luke McQuillan

Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight from DreamWorks Animation is an 11 episode animated series airing July 14 on Netflix. I am creating the thread for this particular show, but if you want to discuss any of the movies or the two other TV Series here, I don't mind. That is why I left the thread title ambiguous. When a mysterious pair of weasels set their sights on a collection of four powerful weapons, Po must leave his home to embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade. Together, these two mismatched warriors set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons first and save the world from destruction — and they may even learn a thing or two from each other along the way. Jack Black voices Po, a Panda Bear James Hong voices Mr. Ping, a goose who is Po’s adoptive, over-protective father, who is always filled with pride for his son. Rita Ora voices Luthera, the Wandering Blade, an English Bear Knight Chris Geere voices Klaus Dumont, a weasel Veruca Dumont and Klaus Dumont Della Saba voices Veruca Dumont, a weasel Rahnuma Panthaky voices Rukhmini Ed Weeks voices Colin Amy Hill voices Pei Pei

Everything's Trash is a new half-hour Comedy Series set to air on Freeform on July 13 with two back to back episodes starting at 10:00 p.m., before airing weekly on Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. Everything’s Trash is written, executive-produced and stars Phoebe Robinson and is loosely base on her life, as documented by her 2018 book, a collection of essays entitled "Everything’s Trash, But It’s Ok". Everything’s Trash, the TV Series follows “Phoebe, a 30-something outspoken podcast star making her professional mark while living a broke and delightfully messy life in Brooklyn. Phoebe has a closet full of expensive shoes. She is buying expensive dresses, but she wears them with the tags still on and then returns them the next day. When her "perfect" older brother launches a political campaign, she’s forced to start her adulting journ-journ. Ugh. Life may be a little boo-boo, but Phoebe, ever the cocoa queen, is still thriving. When her older brother Jayden emerges as a leading politician, she’s forced to grow up and relies on her friends and close-knit family to help her figure out adulthood, since she doesn’t seem to have a clue. I really just wanted to lean into how I'm not trying to represent the Black community, I'm just representing my experience and the experience of the writers in the writers' room. Phoebe Robinson plays Phoebe Hill, which is me in my early thirties, when I was bopping around the city, podcasting, doing standup, eating dollar pizza, maybe not dating the best kind of people to date. Jordan Carlos plays Jayden Hill, Phoebe’s Blerd-y older brother who was recently elected as a NY State representative. Their boundary-less relationship must change as Phoebe’s wild yet entertaining behavior threatens to overshadow his Barack Obama-esque aspirations. Robinson’s real-life brother, Phil Robinson, is a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. Jordan Carlos Toccarra Cash Phoebe Robinson Toccarra Cash plays Malika Jones, Phoebe’s savvy, smart and beautiful “Code Switch Queen” podcast producer. As Phoebe’s work wife and ride or die friend, Malika tries to balance wanting Phoebe to grow up with also encouraging her to be messy because hey, the mess pays the bills and is funny AF. Nneka Okafor plays Jessie Ajayi-Hill, Phoebe’s sister-in-law who’s a former socialite-turned-feminist and college professor. She worries that she is the only one in her in-laws’ family that has the strength to let Phoebe know that some of her shenanigans are dangerous to her husband Jayden’s career and too influential on her daughter Aisha. Farah Felisbret plays Aisha, the child of Jayden and Jessie. Moses Storm plays Michael, Phoebe’s BFF, roommate and friend since freshman year of college. He is a video game live streamer who is not ashamed to promote his TikTok whenever he can. Michael is more than happy to not grow up and will be the playful devil on Phoebe’s shoulder. Jackée Harry plays Zora Hill, Phoebe and Jayden’s mother. She and her husband are mid-Western transplants, but they have made a home in NY. They love and support their children equally, but truth be known, Zora acts (and dresses) younger than she is and straddles the line between “I’m my daughter’s mother” and “I’m my daughter’s best friend.” George Wallace plays Abraham Hill, Phoebe and Jayden’s father and husband to Zora. He and his wife have been together since middle school and like Zora, he has treated Phoebe more like a friend than a daughter, which was fine before because she always brought laughter and joy to the family. However, now that Jayden is an elected official, Frederick worries that his daughter’s ne’er do well ways is not a great look for the family.

Yeah, after Mabel waited for years for Oscar to get out of Prison to be with him (4 weeks?), Oscar can't wait a day for Mabel to get out of jail. Maybe it is because Oscar is on Parole and can't be hanging out with all these felons.
