  1. And is food is a stretch at that. Last challenge featured undercooked rice and burnt and burst sausage. Also, he overcooked his lentils. Lentils and rice are indigenous to his country and a mainstay. Totally agree with your assessment. Still have to take into account, his undercooked rice, burnt sausages, over spice desert, and overcooked lentils.
  2. Just rewatched last night's show and he said he was a chemical engineer. That implies to me that is his job, except he works in IT sector.
  3. Just looked Subha up on LinkedIn and he's been in the IT field for 29 plus years . Currently works at Cigna. There goes the chemical engineer theory.
  4. Did you really expect her to keep her composure in that tag team challenge with Subha. He was just walking around in a cloud. I would have yelled at him also.
  5. Not sure if the whole notebook wasn't overplayed for tv. While nice, they were extremely naive for their age. When he thought that 1600 square foot house was large and she didn't know what radiators were, my thoughts ran to are they for real. The neighborhoods didn't look all that great, especially at the first house.
  6. Reminds me of the bridal shop where everyone got their prom dresses way back when.
  7. I think people are either city people or suburb types. Everyone has a choice. Personally for me, it's the city. Like being able to walk to restaurants, etc.
  8. Find it interesting the way some people on HH obsess about buying a house like the one they grew up in.
  9. The worst one was her visiting friend. Didn't realize they spoke "Valley Girl" in Kansas City, Missouri.
  10. It is when you are trying to buy into that area and the homes can certainly go for a lot more money than that. Comes down to what you are use to.
  11. Have to remember $1,000,000 is relatively cheap in the DC area now. Even the hard core areas of NE like Trinidad are getting high prices now.
  12. I looked at that plate. Think that the judges threw that comment in for comic relief.
  13. Are we talking about the same person? Plating looked messy, combined two vegetables that don't go together, and was doing to over season the dish with some indian spice until Gordon, Joe & Aaron told him not to. But this is also the same person who overcooked the indian lentils even though he said they 47 different varieties of them in India and he is familiar with them all. At least he didn't use the old rose seasoning that he likes to trot out.
  14. He's not mentally challenged, just incompetent. I'm talking about Subha not Gordon.
  15. He's been in over his head for a while now. Surprise that he made it this far.
  16. You mean like when he asked if he could turn the knob on Sarah's chickens? Just went back and watch that with closed captioning. He did ask that about helping turn the knob.
  17. I really liked the first one which was right in town. The in town location would have been a major draw.
  18. Just watched the New York state B & B episode. The wife reminds me of a softer voice version of the women on the Fairfield Ct.. episode. Has to be this, has to be that. Luckily the husband had business sense about him to successfully run a B & B.
  19. The Oklahoma couple buying a beach house in Texas with the newly married pregnant daughter. What newly married couple wants to vacation with their parents. Certainly that wouldn't have been me, either newly married or married for a bunch of years.
  20. Not a fan of Hayley Paige. I want to knock that silly hat off the back of her head. Wear your hat properly, or not at all. Also don't like her wedding dress designs either.
  21. The Putnam NY couple buying on the beach in North Carolina seemed very nice. Think that they are actually going to use that place instead of looking at it from a rental outlook. Thought they made the right choice in their home selection.
  22. The single mom bartender from New Jersey. Besides her really low cut top, wondering where she was going to come up with the $600,000 for a house. Maybe the mother that she talked into moving down is footing the bill.
  23. Actually, Noah's pronunciation of Macaron is correct. It is a french creation and entirely different from a Macaroon. Just looked that up. Learn something new everyday.
