Good evening, Pounders. I hope that this finds my friends healthy. I don't know if I'm up for another depressing episode tonight, real life is bad enough right now. I just wanted to check in and say hello.

I’m struggling to keep myself from binging just like a poundticipant so I need to watch and remind myself what the results would be.  It really would be nice to see a success tonight.

Is he the high school boyfriend she found on Facebook and couldn't stop saying his name every five seconds? He seemed like a drug user so I won't be too surprised if that's the "not good" part of the episode.

Thanks for all the intel, @CrazyInAlabama!

That’s the one!  Every second sentence began with “Jimmy and me”.
Edited to add: or “Me and Jimmy”.

How do theses pounders not know where they’re going wrong? All restaurants and take outs have calories listed. At least they do here in Canada 🇨🇦. Eating out is quite depressing actually.

They don’t want to know.  They convince themselves that they’re following the plan when they really aren’t.

Gained the three pounds he lost last month!!  That’s all his snacking in the laundry room.

Why the winter woolly headgear? I thought it was hot in Houston?

I keep wondering if/how they ever wash them.  Although I’m sure with the overwhelming smells in the van their hats would be just another component.

I know Minnesota is soon going to have a Stay at Home order because Creative Memories sent out an e-mail saying their warehouse was closing for now.

I’m in the only New England state *without* a Stay At Home order!  “Live Free and Die”!!

Don't even go there. I haven't had the nerve to look at mine all week and when I finally did, I wanted to cry.

I took my retirement fund when the company offered and invested it.  It seemed like a good idea at the time.  Not so much any more, I’d have been better off keeping my pension.

I bought the episode. I play it on my Kindle when I go to sleep. I've played it tens of times. Usually I fall asleep before the dad shows up. Sometimes I wake up and it's still on. It's great. I get a lot of pleasure from it. Don't judge.

Never!  I even tried to watch it again today myself.  He is just such a train wreck.

When I retired last summer, I put a timer on my computer. Every 45 minutes it blanks out the screen and tells me to get up (you can put in your own message). It's called 'break time' and is an add-in for Chrome.

Even with a sedentary job, between  walking from the commuter lot, being a whole building's width away from the ladies' room, and random just walking around, it adds up. You will wind up on this show if you don't watch out. Your back will also thank you.

My brother gave me his old Apple Watch.  I love it because I can pay for groceries without taking out my wallet or phone, plus it tells me to get up and walk around every hour.

We don't know their history... if they are the kind of cousins who would rather spend money on food than on roof over their head, you know if you let them in, they will be there until you kick them out (and it won't be easy to do).  They aren't exactly motivated to get back on their feet...

That’s why I can’t seen success for either one of them.  There is just not enough motivation other than “get to Houston” and “help from Dr. Now” = “someone else will fix our problems for us”.

I lost my dad young too and I was devastated and yet went back to work and kept going on.  These guys seen to lack the ability to cope with normal life issues.  Or paying taxes on they're house.  Or holding down a job.  Dominic's problems go oh so much deeper than simply getting surgery.  And I don't think Lola is going to make much headway here either.  This is a job for Dr Paradise at the very least LOL.

Yeah I don’t see much chance for success here.

He mentioned food stamps. He could buy a gallon of milk, a dozen eggs, a loaf of bread, and a box of waffles for less money than they spent on McDonalds.

Only he has nowhere to cook it (if he even knows how).

The girlfriend acted like his jailer, and his mother, not a girlfriend.

    She's not 320 either.

In her dreams.  I would add another hundred to that, plus she seemed to keep gaining while he was losing.  I liked Tommy and wish him success, but Amanda will be visiting a tentmaker for her wedding dress if she keeps going.
