There's no chance of any of those guys; all with serious issues! Leon gets the blame for that oven fire due to it being so dirty! Adam's a jerk, but he keeps his galley spotless! Ben's a slob and he really can't impress me enough to overlook what a pig-sty his kitchen is while preparing his fare! Is that a little strong or am I remembering it wrong? Leon got a lot of compliments and only the chief stew was kvetchin' about his lean resume and offerings! The guests loved his beef-cheeks and she ranted about how limited Leon was in her opinion! She really did "ask for it" when he wouldn't put up with her BS attitude!

S02.E06: Don't Cry Over Cut Onions
Avon.Blakes7 replied to OnceSane's topic in Below Deck Mediterranean
I posted something about a week ago that some chefs or hairstylist think they're artists and will do what they want; special requests be damned! -
Maybe they'll have to call in Ben again "to the rescue!"
-
You had me until "UNIT" comment! They were little more than hired goons who's expertese was heavily overrated due to assistance of the Doctor! ;-)
-
BTW, what happened to that 1/2 Doctor that took up with Rose in the alternate universe? I seem to remember him being more human and "could die!" Was he knocked off? All I can remember is her doing everything to get back to our universe to be back with the original in saving Donna & the Earth against Daleks and Sontarans! ;-)
-
I wish I could be more helpful, but I don't watch NuWho like Classic Who over and over! Not even a fan of Troughton or C. Baker, but I'd rather watch "The Two Doctors" from 30 years ago! There's been a handful worth watching multiple times like "The Girl Who Waited" or "Vincent & The Doctor" though! I still watch the episode when taping to VHS format, but they're then stored away in my collection never to be brought out again! I'd rather drag out an even older series; "Blake's 7!' ;-)
-
But these companions always seem to cause death and destruction! "Dalek" comes to mind with Rose having compassion for a machine, touching it and causing an entire underground base to be decimated! Amy and Clara just as bad! Bill's incessant questions is what's driving me bonkers more than anything! It never seems to stop, even under gunfire! ;-(
-
Wasn't Nardole some kind of servant/companion to River; looking for the Doctor who was right in front of her? She was supposedly married to some headless character! That was probably the only time she had no control over a situation and he loved seeing her stressed and manic not being in charge and knowing more for that one occasion! ;-)
-
The companion situation is what's been the drawback since the beginning with ROSE when I started watching the re-boot! His affection for her was nauseating from 9 & 10, then worse with Clara from 10 and increasing in his passion with 11! The Doctor is willing to overlook every moral code he has to keep her safe or save her life! Past Doctors could very well walk away from impeding doom of a volcano which he knows will wipe out a family he's met! It's one thing to change history, but for Clara he's willing to put the whole universe and time in jeopardy! He legitimately went insane traveling around for too long on his own; goes overboard with the companions that interest him in the least! With Bill, she's probably even more useless than past companions, willing to give us all up to oblivion to save the Doctor! Call me a cold fish, but one life ain't worth all that; even the Doctor's! ;-(

It's quite easy It's quite easy to have a "love/hate" relationship with a show that's gone from what was considered a kid's show in the 60's to a reboot going against all kinds of "canon!" There were 2 feature films with Peter Cushing back in the 70's, a continuation of the British run through several Doctors; some more successful in the role than others, went on hiatus, Fox producing a movie 10 years later, now the current re-boot 10 more years after that! Not sure I've seen any program go through so many incarnations; sorta like the Doctor himself!
-
The TARDIS was supposed to be symbiotic to the DOCTOR, now anyone can move the thing with the precision of a TIME LORD! [eye roll]
-
That's what it is really, "spiraling out of control;" sorta like that Christmas special where it's a dream within a dream! lol!
-
You mean, be ready for "that moment" like the Doctor giving Davros regenerative energy so he could actually see things through his own eyes in "The Witch's Familiar?" lol! The Doctor is so jaded that even when it seems he's letting sentiment and compassion take him over, he's so JADED, he would be on guard if God appeared before him like Kirk in "ST: The Final Frontier!" ...
-
I definitely got a "Slience vibe" and posted as such here and elsewhere! It's like they're running out of ideas and to keep the show going, they've given up and said "go with the formula; change the names & costumes, then be done with it!"
-
I was trying to give Moffet the benefit of the doubt, but "convoluted" is how I describe Nu-Who to friends! lol!
-
I can still hear Donna imploring the Doctor; "you can't just leave them!" Within the last couple seasons, I seem to remember they invoked Capaldi's image from that episode to make it seem it wasn't haphazard his last regeneration! Anyone? I just don't watch the episodes again and again like I did with Classic Who! They were more entertaining and you didn't have to think! Nu-Who is so complicated, I may never be able to take on the nuances of what happened because I don't watch them relentlessly to learn what the HELL is going on! The Time War is a lot more complicated now than during era of "The Keys To Time!" & "Genesis Of The Daleks!" The arcs with Moffet can go on for years; some less surprising than others! I think everyone knew that was River as the little girl earlier before shooting The Doctor in the astronaut suit! I turned 60 last month and it just isn't sinking as well as it used to! ;-)
-
Just watching it now and questioned my sanity; "where have I seen this plot before?" Instantly thought of the Silence and how they were supposedly "here all the time!" ;-(

S09.E08: Return of the Berzerkshires
Avon.Blakes7 replied to OnceSane's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
That's the thing; there was security with camera people around! What was supposed to happen? The guy was married with footage of his naked arse! I doubt he was going to attack anyone! I think he was just "sleeping it off!" Making out with a drunken LuAnn would nauseate me into unconsciousness! It was probably 4 or 5 am! He didn't ask for breakfast, "beating a path" out of the place soon after the histrionics! lol! -

Bobby's an arse and having a $10 M smile and body wouldn't make me look at him longer than necessary! He's an irrational bully who thinks nothing of going after men and women alike! It would make sense if he was right, but he's so paranoid, the thinks "everyone's" talking about him! He's the epitome of that Carly Simon song, "You're So Vain!" A TRUE jerk really! -

Hard to believe this weenie is calling his mom crying about a girl that doesn't even know him that well! I knew he was a loser last season after his bullying Daniel who was sent packing early thanks to Bobby's b!tchin'! He's a true loser and I hope he gets his soon! -
Well the show ended ok without Cheyenne breaking Patrick's face who was the resident $#!t-Stirrer! Fabio came down as a surprise for Jorge with the help of Khazan who's decided to move to NY! Until next summer Y'ALL! ;-)

Have had multiple sleep disorders since I was a kid! No wonder I was short-tempered, nervous, and always on the edge! I never enjoyed sleeping and even less now with C-Pap machine attached to my face! -

Heather's hysteria was hilarious; I just laughed! "This guy could have been upstairs spanking his monkey" and something else about "blue balls!" lol! She's supposed to be so tough, but she was absolutely freakin' out about a guy that stayed overnight! Carole had the right attitude, give it short shrift and in her "talking head" spoke of men like luggage, "do not leave them unattended!" lol! -

I wasn't a big viewer years ago, but I seem to remember seeing a clip when The Countless was in a classroom of kids and some little black girl talked of being a model! I'm pretty sure Lu said in passing, something about losing weight! I was appalled and knew from the "get" that this woman wasn't worth breathing air! So much for her book on etiquette speaking to a child like that; on camera for all to see and hear over and over BTW! l-( -
They'll settle down later after they've worn themselves out spreading it around! lol! ;-)
