  1. Interesting! I am going to start noticing to see any family resemblance.
  2. I did like that they revealed who she was right away. I guess they built up the conflict between her and Sheila to then contrast it with her being Sheila's granddaughter. But they didn't drag it out as with Paige and as the American soaps will do. At first I thought don't tell me they are making a triangle for Kyle already, with her original interaction being with Kyle, but she's his sister thankfully. She really is a brat! But it's a good idea - she's sort of stepping into Naomi's place. Interesting the actress playing Julie Quill being married to Paul in real life. You can't help but wonder if there is a bit of nepotism there. I recall on Home and Away they hired somebody's sister to play a part.
  3. Strange. I don't remember any robberies at all. I think Carl and Susan's tryst was how they made a mess of the place. The doctor and nurse get up, lol. Yeah, I suppose the gazebo business could still be in operation? Paul had the idea but no money. I really thought the dog's contract might be up and they'd found alternative acting work for her! lol I don't know anything about Max. It should be tough to have parental rights revoked, especially where nothing seems to have recently changed. I guess that is Toadie's next job and he'll spend time with his client Steph and Sonya won't be too happy about that. Does Nate have a job? Must be nice to be able to pack up and go to Europe whenever you feel you need to get away.
  4. They aren't taking real good care of Bossy. Noticed that Tyler is on his third sister with these reminders of his short interest in Imogene. Then he went to Paige and now Piper.
  5. Daniel is just strange at the moment. Poor Imogene. Wow they are good with the dog. The dog training must be excellent. I wonder what is wrong with poor Bossy. I feel bad for Josh. Amber is such a drip. She cannot decide who can and cannot live in Brisbane and they don't have to live together. Maybe she had a point of him straightening out his head or whatever it is, but it also is made harder that way.
  6. I thought Sonia was over-blaming herself. I can see why she might feel bad if things go wrong, after what Carl told her. But then barging into the surgery seemed a reasonable thing to do at the time. Belinda is a nutcase. I'm glad Paige got herself out. LOL Therese at welcoming Paul into the street. Yeah he's very welcome there to so many of its inhabitants.
  7. Glad to see Neighbours back! I see Aaron finally got into the opening credits - with Steph and Sheila.
  8. When they next age Joss, she ought to have an Aussie accent. She spends most of her time there with Jax.
  9. And it would be so much more interesting for the audience. It could make things interesting for him to balance both personalities.
  10. Maddie came on with Spencer and he's long gone. Way past time to move this character on. I have zero sympathy with the couple of Maddie and Matt, so their kiss felt flat. So the cliffhanger is who killed Charlotte, so they can milk that for the beginning of the next season. Hunter - so his role in the fire won't come out. Kat - not really a good suspect, as she'd want to see the law punish Charlotte Zach, Evie, Oscar - revenge for Denny? Ash, Kyle - to prevent Brax reveal? Too late, but they may not have known. Random from the gang of the guy she killed over the blackmail. Now that Rikki knows, the outcome depends of whether actors are staying or going. If the Brax return is temporary to usher Rikki off the canvas, she decides to go on the run with Brax. Nice situation for the child. If permanent, then they will find a way to redeem him. I'm betting on the former more than the latter. Though it is possible she will realize that life with Nate doesn't have these problems.
  11. How does Amber get offered such a job - what experience does she have? And moving away is a jerk move at this point. But then if we're getting rid of this character . . . . The D'Amato villain and his victim/henchwoman are getting old. New ones are needed.
  12. Maddie is back to being a real piece of work. I hope Oscar and Asia get together and are happy and Matt and Maddie get messed up. They are both selfish so it is bound to happen. Asia is a much nicer girl, which Oscar deserves. Hannah is kind of dumb. She and Andy were so miserable most of the time. I suppose they are trying to show he is changing. Same drama for soap characters with a problem, that is, Josh. Not wanting any help. Getting mad at people who want to help. Irene is doing both at once, helping another while refusing help herself.
  13. Nice to have Jett back again. They are following up on the fostering John and Marilyn had been accepted for before Marilyn's accident, I suppose. Hunter still hasn't been caught for that, I think? My guess is that he will be rehabilitated and remain after Charlotte goes off to jail. She is so dumb how she makes her situation worse and worse - she killed Denny by accident but covering it up has killed intentionally. Not that the blackmailer is a sympathetic victim. Kat is though.
  14. Definitely, Nate should be the one to decide whether he wants to deal with his Dad again. The merry go rounds with the couples are not all that satisfying as stories - they need to think of something else than the ever shifting triangles.
  15. Paige does not want to get married, etc., she should not be doing this. Convenient auto accident to get in the way of Evil Paul's plans!
  16. Yes, Charlotte is getting tons of airtime and she looks like a character not long for this world. Now she is compounding her previous errors. And she's now on her third younger man. I guess they like the excitement of being involved with someone with a lot of drama. Also enough of Matt and his alleged feelings - he vacillated between Maddie and Charlotte anyway. So now Josh is going to be blind for awhile. Soap opera blindness always goes away after the drama is milked out of it, including the drama of seeing again. LOL.
  17. Looks like gas lighting for sure now as the lady who had her car repaired was on the phone with whoever it was. We know she did in fact ask for brake pads. Sudden discovered soap opera talent - now Daniel is a salesman. I guess we are to realize Paige really wants Tyler.
  18. True, Brennan is not a very subtle cop who uses different interview strategies. It's always the tough-guy-assume-guilt thing. I liked the scene where Amy comforted Steph. I don't know if it's a good storyline to have Sheila feel guilty - seems she ran out to get help. Why do characters feel they must do the rescues themselves? Also not warming up to the blame Brad for saving Lauren first - he could not take them both at once, and one of them had to be first, and get help for the other. Brad could have left to get help rather than doing it himself and possibly causing harm. It's not like he had to be judging one life to be worth more than the other, and either choice would seem unkind to the other.
  19. Yes, wasn't it Nate that cheated on Sophie before either ever came to the show? And there was something medical Sophie did - faked something - she was in an accident and there was something fishy about her treatment at the hospital. As a result, Nate felt justified in cheating on her. Then when she came to the Bay, Nate got back together with Sophie out of duty and then cheated with Hannah at least emotionally or by kissing Hannah. He really jerked Sophie around. I don't really want to see Josh killed off, when they just killed off Denny. Too much of that. And yes, Tank is an utter and complete jerk and I see Evie is starting to feel sorry for him. Actress does a great job with this storyline - she deserves the front-burner story this creates for her. I would not be surprised if Josh revives, after they have milked it for all the drama they can with good bye scenes at the bedside from Andy and Evie. What do you think of Olivia? She seems to be a sociopath, though a very pleasant one.
  20. I'm glad they didn't use the fire to kill anyone off. The last episode this week was a Brennan odyssey. He was in scenes with at least 5 others in one show! I don't think Brad could carry two people at once, so he had to pick one and go back to the other. Why not pick the lighter one and leave the heavier one for the firies? They would have been there in real life. I guess in soap land they have to stand back for the white knight characters. Lucky child to come into the world with a romantic triangle amongst his grandparents. And I continually think, this fire is so they can build a new set for the school!
  21. Nate must realize he is clearly second choice. Brax is gone and that's why he's in the number one position. I too don't see the point of Ricki saying it was a one off that night when they slept together and Nate was not with Kat. Why did it take her until he was back with Kat to decide it should be on again? Nate is very wishy washy. He should have fought for Ricki then, rather than go back to Kat. Charlotte killed Denny by accident and she should have called the police and dealt with it. The way she is doing it only adds to her crimes. Whatever happened to Matt's feelings for Maddie? They seem to be all over the place. Ricki and Kyle, Ricki and Nate, Maddie and Matt, Matt and Charlotte. Hannah and Andy, Hannah and Chris. Kind of dizzying. When Ash was with Kat, I wondered if they'd get together and had to think, was he taken? Oh yeah, he is with Phoebe now. Are they going to start another 3 way here? LOL. Gunno is not needed ever again! Not on any show at any time. LOL.
  22. Yes, and has James ever heard of visitation and child support? He would not lose his children by getting a divorce. Forbidding Evie to see Tank is guaranteed not to work. Do Zach and Leah remember being teenagers?
  23. Blabby Chris has taken over for Colleen. I suppose Maddie has been cured of cancer? Roo is rushing into the marriage and James is rushing her into it, too. Get married today? That's suspicious. Then I thought Alf finally had something, but it turned out not to be anything really. Yet I can't help but think something will turn up. It's making Alf look like he might be starting to show symptoms of a mental condition at the same time.
  24. Cute scenes with Karl and Susan, though Nate was a bit full on. I loved how Aaron wanted to get to know Karl and Susan and talk about the very things Nate warned them against. Who keeps cash in a box and not at the bank? Oh, Toadie and Sonya. Maybe the cleaner took the money.
  25. lol Chris calling the farmhouse "estrogen empire." This Tank plot is pretty good - a lot of twists and turns and you end up wondering who is right and who is wrong. The principal sounded pretty convincing. But then Tank is the one with bruises.
