I'm thinking at 75, no, you haven't seen worse. I'm in my 60s, and saw so much progress with LGBTQ+ rights, options for women with regards to their reproductive rights, DEI that is so hated for some reason. I've been waiting to see a woman as president, but apparently a disgusting man is better than a qualified woman. I kind of feel like I grew up in this bubble of hope that fizzled out.

He signed so many executive orders without looking at them.

I've kept my news to a few sites that aren't pro-trump, and watch clips from The Late Show and The Daily Show to watch the circus. That some papers are feeling the burn after what they did (constant coverage of orangalini) I don't care if they sink.

I sometimes get hope knowing that not everyone is eating the bullshit.

I second this.

The difference I saw was the vinegar used. Duke's uses apple cider vinegar, and Hellman's uses corn vinegar. When my sister visited, she wanted Miracle Whip despite me saying I can add some vinegar and paprika to the mayo and it'll be the same thing.

This reminds me of Sir Terry Pratchett and how expensive it is to be poor. This idea is known as the "Boots" theory of socioeconomic unfairness. You can't afford the good boots, so you buy the less expensive ones, but more often. I'm able to afford the large pack, and freeze either after it is cooked, or before. I save money this way, but someone struggling can't do this.

They were handing them out, over-prescribing them. It was easy to get addicted. I had a prescription for hydrocodone, and took one pill a day just to do things, and suffered the rest of the time because I was so afraid of addiction.

They are pouring on the hatred for Zelenskyy. Anyone who isn't polishing their knobs is hateful/s. Anything out of their mouths is projection. If they accuse someone, they are doing it.

I watch this show for entertainment and because I like Kathy Bates. I'm in no way a person you should talk to for legal advice. I'll watch shows where the defendant is found guilty/not guilty within an hour. That take months and probably years. I find some kind of relief from the reality of the real justice system.

I prefer the thighs, and get them on sale when I can. I have two packs in the freezer now. One will be butter chicken, the other may be fried. I've found pork to be the lowest cost lately. I also have blackberries imported from Mexico. I'll enjoy them while I can.

I doubt he knows anything about women and their struggles with fertility. Or their right to choose what happens with their own body (birth control, etc.).

The whole "forget trade agreements" and then "Canada is the 51st state" is so appalling. I like that it was corrected from "Canadians are so nice" to "Canadians are civil and polite." A big difference there. I had to remind myself how big Canada is and looked at a map.

I use ACA. It's interesting that people have different opinions because they think it is Obamacare. I paid a lot for insurance the past year, and hope I can keep my affordable rate this year.

So much this ^^^. I want socialism, when those who can, do for others. If I can help those who need it, I'll let the slackers ride too. I've never felt overburdened by social programs.

The realization that when the ship sinks, we all go down.

I donate to things I care about. There is a fantastic library where I live with a concert hall. It is thanks to an endowment, and I want to do something similar. I don't have children, and relatives can take care of themselves. Libraries were so important to me throughout my life, and thinking they may disappear just guts me. The access to so much knowledge, and just enjoyment, is so important.

It was Best Foods for me in California. Now I'm lucky to find something other than Miracle Whip. I currently am using Hellmann's. I have a jar of Duke's waiting for me to wonder if it's that much better.

People coming in with what I consider willful ignorance. They have no idea and can't be bothered to learn.

I had struggles early on, but I was so happy to have a roof over my head, and enough food to eat. Later on you are conservative with your money, and then worry if it's enough for your retirement. Money buys you fewer worries, and then others come in. I do wonder at billionaires still wanting more money. It's never enough with them.

Matty getting high was fun. They do like toying with us. Alfie being in the stairwell to distract everyone. Matty in Olympia's office: Alfie forgot his wallet. Just a lot of nail biting moments that turn out that Matty is quite clever.

You can buy and use a phone for a lot less than renting a room. I was that dumb person who thought, well they can't be that desperate if they have a phone. Also, that you can be desperate and have preferences. That you can want certain things to make your life better. I still remember the homeless woman in my previous town, who saw me and noticed I was in pain. This woman was the only one that day who acknowledged I was hurting. By the time I came back with socks and toiletries, there were police around her. It made me so angry at the time.

We get taxed when we earn, when we save, when we spend. When we learn we pay, pay, pay. And there is some sh!tstain saying we're lazy. Who has done nothing in his life.

For some reason, I don't believe that DeSantis didn't know. He's such a small in all ways human.

No transparency for them, though. How did you spend that billion we gave you, Lyon Elon?
