I'm not trying to minimize Charity's story, but I'm started to get numb to the trauma bonding.

Maybe part of it is Zach equating ilall these stories to the psychological abuse he apparently got from Rachel.

Part of it was pictures of her in a bunch of MAGA gear. I don't personally think that's something we should go after her for --  she was 18 in 2016 and had probably spent her entire life in Texas hearing that Hilary Clinton was evil. 

But the larger problem was her defending a friend who had gone to a party or something in blackface. Some pretty ignorant posts from a high school agreed Greer surfaced.

She did apologize right away when it blew up after the first episode, but you can kinda tell she didn't have help writing it.

I have no idea how she feels about any of this stuff now (though I don't think it excuses Zach being a jerk to her).

They'll probably say something on insta after it's airs. I'm going to assume they told production to not bother -- maybe they both had conflicts already, or maybe they are just DONE. But it's not like we have enough information to really guess intelligently.

That is odd. Neither of them seemed problematic. I actually liked them both.

Mostly I just wanted to see what Davia was wearing. She has excellent style.

If they wanted to leaves people out, lose everyone from night one except the one who forced the kiss (Meredith?)

I *think* they get to the end before they start editing. How the season ends has to inform how they edit the season.

I bet they revisit the edit while the show is airing too. I suspect we might have seen a different side of Greer if we didn't learn about some potentially problematic things in her past at the beginning of the season. She and Zach seemed to hit it off so well night one, then she mostly disappeared until her one-woman show "I Told Him I Love Tea" - they had to have some other interactions and ITMs in there.

I dunno... Everything is filmed all the time. Competing for screen time seems nonsensical unless you're bribing the editor. (I agree Tayshia and Kaitlyn commanded attention when they were on screen with Katie. I'm not sure that's their fault.)

I saw the value of having a woman as host when Katie was crying in the bathroom after Greg went off on her. Kaitlyn went in and talked to her, and I watched wondering how different that would have been if it had been Chris Harrison.

I don't think they needed two women for that job.  But I think having one man and one woman could work -- just like I couldn't imagine Katie crying with CH, I couldn't picture Clayton getting talked down by Tayshia during the end of his season. But Jesse and Kaitlyn together I think could bring something. (I like Tayshia but I think she's beyond over this show.)

I'd be up for any of the rest except for maybe Brooklyn. She seems nice, but we haven't seen much to make her stand out. Sort of a sequel to Tia.

Speaking of Gabi, I am enjoying this recent trend of casting a woman who doesn't immediately stand out with the lead, comes off as a big nutball, then emerges as a serious contender. Of course, that lead is never worthy of her, but that's not a shock. That happens when you cast the same tired jock every time.

I look forward to meeting, I don't know, Ghabi on the next Bachelor. We need more ladies from India anyway.

I think Clayton took Gabby on that same date in Iceland.  Awful. ATVs may be fun, but you can't really talk while you're doing it.  And how often are they going to Iceland? I'm pretty sure Gabby can ride ATVs in Colorado.

For these things, it's like they set up a real date and a throwaway date. Zach is interested in Kat, so she got to go on the boat ride and go snorkeling.  He's not as interested in Brooklyn, so she gets the simple date.

Personally, I don't care who the lead is. CH, Jesse, Tayshia, Paulie. Someone has to be in charge but they can stay offscreen. We don't really need someone to tell us there's one more rose -- we can all count to 1.  

Chris's mistake was thinking he was bigger than the show.

Let Jesse go and try a season without a host.
