I think it was like 11 years ago. The sharpness of her grieving has definitely been worn down.
So hard to judge how sincere Michael is. It's not like we knew him before Laura died, or how he is away from the camera.
I think it's safe to say he used James as an off-ramp in Katie's season.

My guess -- 100% speculation -- is they were planning a deep-dive into the Andrew/Jessinia/Ency thing, but it fell apart without Teddi. Since Andrew explicitly said he had feelings for Teddi, and Teddi explicitly said she wasn't really feeling it with Andrew, they dropped it completely when she didn't come to ATFR. Not a peep from anyone.
I can only assume Teddi is DONE. She did her time and left with flaming tire tracks behind her. Any story they try to tell with Andrew but without Teddi is going nowhere, so they dropped it entirely.
That probably puts a stake through the heart of either Andrew or Teddi becoming the lead.

Logan wasted the chance at a date with Lyndsey, who seems perfectly nice, because he couldn't bring himself to admit what was in front of his face the whole time.
I wonder if production tried to push Logan into contacting her, and she was "nah, I'm into guys with more situational awareness."

Genevieve is a lot. It's rare to see someone so controlled by her emotions. A dollop of self-esteem issues on top of that, and she seems to have very little control over anything in her life.
But I think her heart is in the right place. She just needs to find a more effective way of protecting it.
Aaron, OTOH, is a narcissistic, arrogant bully. I hope he and James are happy together.
During ATFR, I would pay anything for Logan to say "I'll just go back to my $50 million trust fund. Maybe buy a Lamborghini." That might not be true, but Kate won't know that for sure.

I think he's probably a super nice guy. But his soft features and voice give him a sort of adolescent aura (moreso than an effeminate one, at least to me).
But his over-the-top weepy protestations of love at every turn just get creepy after awhile. Serene seems into it, though, as did Michelle. To me he sounds like a bunch of Hallmark cards gained the power of speech.
Serene looks enough like Michelle from some angles to make me think Brandon has a very specific type.
