  1. I think here looks were looked upon as a positive factor in her selection. She can "honey pot" almost any mark in about 10 seconds.
  2. It looks like the last person on Earth who wasn't screwed by talking to the FBI was Curtis. A lawyer helps but silence is golden. They can lie to you but if you forget to cross your Ts and dot your Is...do not collect $200. Just ask Martha Stewart or General Flynn.
  3. I totally forgot that Jackson was once interested in Paige. If those two hook up again....it's anything can happen day.
  4. If they are under surveillance and get caught, a heads up from Pastor Tim could land him in prison.
  5. Why is Jackson with Elizabeth in the promo for next week? How could she possibly still be "working" him?
  6. My apologies.
  7. Maybe Jackson had a moment when his little head countermanded the big one. She might come up with a believable explanation and he'll continue to get laid. And she doesn't look like a stone cold killer.
  8. Just watched the coming attractions for next week. Stan calls Pastor Tim! "Anything the FBI should know about the Jennings family?" Can't wait to hear that conversation. My guess is that he says nothing. Because... 1. The FBI was not on the top ten list of organizations the American left trusted in the 80's. 2. He did give his word to Paige about confidentiality. 3. P & E saved a congregation in El Salvador according to that (probably fake) Jesuit. 4. It looks like the Soviets are onboard with one of his passions: Arms Control.
  9. Could have been a ballistic knife like this:
  10. Anyone have a clue as to why Phillip is getting a new suit...NOW?
  11. Either that or the Mercedes was a rental and couldn't get soaked in blood.
  12. Henry trusts Stan. Henry didn't trust the wierdo offering them a ride in season one but Paige did. Ended up hitting him over the head with a beer bottle and this was 7 or 8 years ago. Henry has good instincts. Whatever else he might think, Henry has no real reason to suspect his parents are enemies of America.
  13. The danger is that Stan realizes that this is not a real breaker box. It doesn't (can't) turn anything on or off.
  14. Season 1 Episode 1. Tusk and 'In the air tonight' were perfect. Ditto for 'Games without frontiers' ending that season.
  15. Random thoughts for this evening: Ya, ya, she's willing to commit to the cause for like. Where've I heard that before? Of yeah, Jesus. She's just like Monica Lewinsky, a 12 year old trapped in a 20 year old body. The center was off their rocker with this 2nd generation illegal program. This will end as badly as Jared in some way or another. ******************************************************** I actually cringe more at the sight and sound of The Artist than the decapitation scene. ******************************************************** I can't see this series ending well for Phillip, Elizabeth, Paige or Stan. Oleg and Henry maybe. ******************************************************* Ha, I just watched a 2 minute "comical" clip on the FX website: "Season 6: Leaked Spoilers". One of the joke lines by Matthew Rhys was that Paige changes her name to Monica Lewinsky. ******************************************************** g'night all.
  16. Does anyone have a clue as to why this radiation sensor is of such importance in this soviet power struggle? Could it possible impact the signing of the INF treaty at the upcoming summit? Why Claudia seems to be cut out of the loop? Do they think she might side with Arkady? Which side is in control of Elizabeth's other mission with the diplomat? If Elizabeth gets sent to France it would mean that the resources of this anti-reform "deep state" group are really thin. I suppose this will all be tied together eventually but I am flummoxed.
  17. Let's remember that in the 80's smoking and its scent was not the mark of Cain. You could smoke on airlines and carry a knife. Smoke free zones were the exception, not the rule. Many health care workers smoked.
  18. RE: Harvest's last words. Re-watched with closed captioning. E to H: Mother's expecting you. H to P: (in English) I have a couple of messages. You have to remember them. For my mother (in Russian) I love you. I'm sorry I left like that. I thought of you every day. I never forgot what you did for me. Don't be sad. I had a good life. An interesting life. I did what I wanted. (in English) Remember. P to H: I will. H to P: (in English) Tell them the sensor schematics are in France. Air base in Cazaux. (in Russian) For my father, you son of a bitch. I'm glad I never saw you again. I hope you die the miserable death you deserve. You won't forget. P to H: (in Russian) Not a word. E: Where's Milwaukee avenue? H to E: (in Russian) Just keep going. This is where P spots the suicide pill pendant, it appears to be closed. Harvest goes Tango Uniform. But I cant see where he had time or opportinity to take the pill. Anyway, my original speculation about code words and phrases now looks wrong. The only intel was the air base in Cazaux. Lots of info on Cazaux Air Base here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cazaux_Air_Base
  19. Maybe, but it was a fairly low volume statement from a weak dying voice in a noisy van and Elizabeth was intent on driving and avoiding capture or getting shot at. At best, she got a few pieces direct from the horses mouth. Another thought, maybe all that stuff Harvest wanted relayed to his parents was really packed with code words and phrases. Remember he said to Phillip "remember these exact words" several times. That's not going to be part of your last message to mom and dad when you have seconds to live. Elizabeth ID-ed herself to Harvest with the phrase "Mother said to come with me". And all those crazy calls to the Jennings household with messages from the Book-of-the-Month-Club, opera tickets, charities; not all their sensitive communications are with one-time-pads. Lastly, I believe sharpening memorization skills was a big point in their early KGB training. Phillip has a $#!+load of intel even if he doesn't know what most of it means. One question that I wasn't clear on: Did Harvest actually take the suicide pill or is that speculation?
  20. The FBI did exactly that with Clark Westerfield and William Crandall. No computers, just massive manpower and shoe leather.
  21. Hey, Henry hasn't done anything illegal and I don't believe he will.
  22. They are the FBI. 1. Identify the maker. 2. Find out what year(s) this one was made. 3. Get a list of jewelers in metro DC that they have supplied. 4. Search their credit card records relevant years. Is successful this would yield a list of dozens of purchasers. Phillip Jennings one of them? Four alarm fire. Not easy but not impossible.
  23. The question is: Did Phillip pass along the intel that the schematics for the sensor are at an Airfield in France. Does he give it to Elizabeth, Oleg, both or no one? He's going over old evidence now. It's a matter of time until he tries to trace the only thing Martha left behind: Elizabeth's necklace.
  24. Paige hasn't even connected the dots of the butchered navy security guy or the "suicide" of the general yet. She will never be able to pick up on the subtle clues necessary to spycraft.
  25. Absolutely! If Paige is stuck in an airport for a few hours with Hare Krishnas or Moonies, she is gone, gone, gone.
