  1. The end of the first two seasons involved packing up the kids and getting out of Dodge due to real threats. Now they are going to end season 5 with a similar scenario because P&E have conscience pangs over collateral damage resulting from a hit on a Nazi war criminal? Has anyone done a body count of innocents from previous seasons? If season 6 takes place in the USSR the only viewers left will be those emotionally invested in one or more of the main characters. I am not one of those. I can't think of a story line that would keep me interested with a background of gray skies, gray buildings, empty market shelves filled with drably dressed, seriously unhappy looking people and cars that wouldn't qualify for "Cash for Clunkers". Tag me "S" for superficial but I think/hope the writers are better than that.
  2. Was Pat Buchanan really in the credits? I know they used Oliver North as a consultant on Nicaragua for a few episodes in season 2.
  3. The only thing that keeps me watching is the thought: Something has to happen next week! They have invested too much story line buildup in Paige. I am afraid she is here to stay.
  4. Where are they going with Martha? She has now appeared in 2 or 3 episodes this season and we know that she isn't exactly thrilled about spending the rest of her life in socialist utopia. She may have been gullible in the past, believing all the nonsense that her true love Clark told her, but she isn't stupid. I wouldn't be surprised if she attempts a surreptitious contact with the U.S. Embassy. I think she knows enough to do it very, very carefully. She has seen Clark and Elizabeth without disguise and even knows Clark's real fake name, Phillip. She can also identify that one piece of jewellery that the FBI found in their search as coming from Clark. Her repatriation back to America would give Stan enough ammo to sink P&E in short order. I can't imagine where else her story line might go.
  5. I knew it was going to be sloooooooooooooooooowwww when the opening credits had an L warning but no V or N. How many balls can they keep in the air before one of them hits the ground. It seemed like this episode touched almost every character from the first four seasons who is still alive. PS I actually meant to post this in the Darkroom thread but put it here in error.
  6. My speculation about this episode is that when it was written the writers didn't have a clue where they were taking this season so they dropped a lot of breadcrumbs and characters with open ended stories that they could pick up on later when they get inspired. I hope they get inspired soon, this is verging on becoming a soap opera.
