So awesome. So the refs completely get their significance, if by some chance, you had doubts.

A question about the larger models. Do the designers (a) have an outfit in mind, and then “have” to put the larger model in it? Or (b) does the model come first, and the designer then makes the item to flatter the model?
My guess is option (a), based on what I saw last night. As a size 14, I’d be considered “plus” in the fashion industry, I guess. Waist and belly are my issues. It just irritates me to no end to see these models in tight clothes that draw the eye to their bellies! It’s saying “oh well she’s fat; nothing I can do about it” to me. Could they not loosen up the clothes, make a skirt more a-line or with a flowy fabric, not skin tight? I felt for those models last night — but maybe they are used to it. (Brittany’s skin-tight garment and Laurence’s green leather dress (?) come to mind.)
Or, maybe the models have a more “body positive” outlook than I do. 🙄🥴☺️
Both could be true. 😉 I've almost always felt like designers, PR and everywhere else, simply make garments which have been crafted for size 2-4-6, and exploded the pattern to fit "plus" sizes. I'm a believer that not every design is appropriate for everybody. It's very frustrating for those of us in that size range.
While I do think that the culture in general has become more accepting of larger bodies (or at least they're paying lip service to it 😏), I don't think that the fayshun industry is ready to play along just yet. Most everything PR has put down the runway on larger models is extremely unflattering in the midsection and bustline imo. This final was no exception.

I feel bad for Bishme but I am sick of hearing about his grieving.
While I agree, it's possible that he was so raw as it was only a matter of a week or weeks between his sister's death and the start of filming. I hope that is the reason, and not because he's that vulnerable by default. If the latter is true, he will need therapy far more than a mentorship in his chosen profession/industry, where it's kill or be killed.

As for Facebook, I don't mess around with snoozing, I unfollow the folks that post daily reminders that they have a beautiful daughter, or love their son, yadda yadda yadda. Drives me batty. If you want credit for loving your kid, I have no time for you.
If they should tag you in something, you'll see it, they don't know you've done it, and you can still peruse their feed if you so desire, but you're not subjected to the daily monotony.

So Kathryn was not asked back on the show.
And she lost custody of the kids. Sad.
But wondering just how she will make ends meet ? Assuming no custody money from Thomas, and now no show income. Will she have to get a real job ?
She will OnlyFans herself into oblivion. May graduate into porn. Probably has a few rehabs in her future. Her children will have holes in their hearts where their mother used to be, while likely bearing headlong into their own addictions/psychoses. It's a tough cycle to break, even with vast re$ource$. We've known that these children were doomed from the moment the sperm breached those eggs.
I don't say these things with any satisfaction, believe me. It's assumption based on a lifetime of observation.

Has anyone here watched the Marvelous Mrs Maisel series? I'd heard about it & watched two episodes (one Friday, the second one last night) on Prime on my laptop. It was fun seeing the clothes from the late 50's, the big phones, the beautiful apts in NYC. But, I was a bit exhausted afterward. They speak so fast. I'm from NYS, my mom from the city, but no one I know from that area speaks so damn fast. I went to the MMM forum but don't want to read spoilers and no one's discussing the early stuff. I can't decide if I want to watch any more.
It's a good show, but yes, the Mrs. Maisel character is exhausting. And her mananger.

Anyone else have a cat (or any other pet for that matter) that wakes itself up when it farts, then looks accusingly at anyone else in the vicinity (ie, me)?
My cat doesn't do that, but I am married so...

Aw now see, as much as I find Tara & Johnny a bit too try-hard to look at, I think they're terrific at moderating the fs competitions. I would miss them.

I talked to one of my recruiters, and she told me about an assignment that will require some of my editing and proofing skills. It's a long-term assignment, and the pay is really good. My recruiter is trying to work out a time for me to interview this Monday. If I don't hear anything by the end of the day, I'm going to call her tomorrow, and hopefully she'll call back.
Good luck! 🤞

Neither of these suggestions is working, but thank you! Maybe this will be one of those times that something comes to mind suddenly in the middle of the night!
Or, oh my god, what if I didn’t actually delete anything but instead somehow accidentally just rearranged them? Just enough to make myself crazy!
I'm an Android user, and I can view all downloaded apps through the settings app (looks like a gear wheel). Click on settings, then scroll down to apps and click on that, they should all be shown. Perhaps seeing the icon will trigger a memory. Good luck!

I know the match isn't over (6-3, 6-2, Shelton down a break in 3rd), but I hope this kid uses this as a lesson. Substance over style kid. If his team can rein him in, he'll be unbeatable (well, Alcaraz may have somthing to say) for the forseeable future.

Exactly what I said. They jerk knots in sporting franchises to redo NIL, but allow that nonsense.
