Hmmm...I was coming here to post this link about Michael Chiarello and noticed the posts re: men saying inappropriate things.  Anyway, Chiarello died from some type of allergic reaction.  I remember watching his show and thinking that he made me feel uneasy and I couldn't figure out why. Several years later, it was reported that two employees accused him of sexual harassment.  Maybe I felt weird watching his show because he had a whispery voice? I also remember he snapped at an assistant during one episode and that was when I stopped watching the show.

I posted this in the food thread, and like you, wasn't really a fan. I found him a bit arrogant. I'm sorry he died so young. I hope the family releases more specifics at some point, though mostly I'm just curious, and they don't owe the world an explanation. Anaphylaxis is serious, it just seems odd to die a week after the onset? Maybe not. 🤷‍♀️

Wonder how the NFL is going to feel about Jim Nantz pointing out that the official told that Chief to put his helmet on, which should have actually been a penalty on the Chief.  (For the record, I didn’t think PI was correct, because the ball was uncatchable, but taking your helmet off on the field is always an infraction)

It was obvious to anyone watching the screen at that moment.

The prices are listed on the linked site. They're astonishingly cheap considering the amount of work that goes into those top crusts--and I do pies with chimp-level fancy crusts, so I have a good idea of what it takes to do those. Amazing.

I totally get that for the work being done, I would expect to pay those prices. But it's also not chump change, not for nuthin'.

Watching middle aged men who don’t want to settle down dating girls who could be their daughters is not entertaining at all.

To be fair, Shep-44 & Taylor-30 are 14 yrs apart (same spread as DH & me, married 32 yrs), Austen-36 & Olivia-31 are separated by only 5 yrs, Craig-34 & Paige-32, only two yrs.

Lots of reasons to not be interested in watching outside of that.

I can’t believe I’m watching this crap.  😂  It’s better than watching a bunch of cackling hags and bitchy housewives trying to tear one another apart limb by limb, though.

Sitting in my garage and watching the car rust is better than that.

I can't believe the hours wasted watching HW shows; hours I'll never get back.

@SuprSuprElevated: Love this! I'll twitch my nose (a la Bewitched) & join you on the patio for some iced tea 😊  Being a kittycat mama, I love your flag.

    C'mon over!

  7. ~sigh~

Summer is done, and this coming weekend will accelerate the demise of our flowers in large parts of the US, so wanted to share a couple pics of my patio Dipladenia, which really performed after slow start back in May. I would love to see your favorites as well!

    Autumn kitty flag ftw!

Will these new "fans" stick around if Taylor doesn't stick around?
