Abigail has a history of cheating-she cheated on Ben with Chad for pete's sake. I think she also cheated on Chad with EJ if I remember correctly. I think this history is driving Chad to be so angry now and to wonder if part of Abigail was cheating on him with Stefan because she wanted to and was attracted to him. It might be on a subconscious level but I think it's there. If you cheated with someone on their partner, there has to be a part of you that wonders if that person will eventually cheat on you. I am so tired of his constant stuttering though-it would be nice if he would quit that. Stuttering to me anyway is not a sign of good acting if you do it all the time. It is better to use it sparingly so that when you do, it has more impact. And I am really tired of Abigail slapping people. I think everyone she has slapped should be allowed to take turns slapping her. It really annoys me that Abigail gets to be instant cured, gets away away with everything, and gets a baby and good people like Eli and Lani lose their baby I would rather watch Eli and Lani raising David than see Abigail have another baby. I am not a huge fan of Chad but I prefer him with other people like Gabi or Sonny than with Abigail. I wish those two would break up permanently. Also, I think Chad might be attracted to Sonny. He's always finding reasons to touch him and looks at him like he wants to kiss him. Go on Chad, kiss him. It might be interesting to have a bisexual couple on the show. I am a big Gabi fan so I am really digging her revenge for as long as it lasts. I can't stand Hope trying to harass and bribe Ben into leaving town. I would love it if Ted sued Hope and Rafe on behalf of Ben. I don't know why John and Marlena need to have a big wedding. Just elope-how many times do you need dress up in white and walk down the aisle? I really need a Ben/Ciara fix so I hope they are on again soon. If there are any other Cin fans on here, there is an interview with Robert Scott Wilson (Ben) and Victoria Konefai (Ciara) in the August 20 issue of Soap Opera Digest.

I seemed to remember that Ben would black out when he killed them and then later he would be freaked out when he had memory flashes of what he did. Schizophrenia with paranoia which sounds like what Ben has is a very serious mental disorder. An emotional life event can trigger a psychotic episode in those with with this mental disorder so I think Abby cheating on him and lying to him over and over could be classified as an emotional event and could have triggered psychotic episodes resulting in the murders. Kassie and Robert were amazing in Friday's episode. You could see how devastated Eve is over the death of her daughter and her desperation for answers from the man who killed her. You could also see the pain and remorse in Ben's face but I understand why he couldn't answer Eve's questions. He is struggling with his mental illness and it is very devastating to him that he killed people and he's still trying to understand himself why he did it. He may not even remember much about the murders if they occurred during a psychotic episode in which he blacked out. I don't want to feel sorry for Eve because of the way she treated Theresa but Kassie made me feel bad for her in this instance. I also like Jennifer when she is in investigator mode. I can't wait until she finds out Eve was behind it and tells Brady that Eve cost him his son. Why does Marlena need someone to give her away at her umpteenth wedding? If she must, it should be Eric and let Brady and Paul be John's best men. Speaking of Eric, he is one sexy fine man. I loved the scenes with Kayla and Steve surprising her with the flowers and him being able to see again. They are one of my favorite couples on this show. I wonder how Steve will react when he finds out Stefan is behind him being able to see again. I liked that Ciara has forgiven Claire and I hope then become friends. I enjoy Trip's new hair cut and I think he and Claire would be cute together. I hated Hope just standing there watching Eve attack Ben and hoping that Eve murdered him. What kind of police commissioner is she? A hypocritical, immoral one who harasses and bullies suspects and who who needs to be fired. I hated that both Rafe and Hope treated Ben like he did something wrong when he was the one being attacked and is bleeding. Oh and I really hated the way Eve treated Ben when she thought he just was a homeless guy sleeping on the bench. I did love how Ben showed up Ciara's place looking for help with his wounds and probably some comfort at the same time. I wish characters that Abby has hurt were allowed to rail at her and attack her for what she's done to them but only Ben's victims or family members of victims are allowed to. I did also enjoy a Chabby free day.

I am so tired of Chad resorting to violence every time he gets mad or upset. He has a right to be upset but he doesn't have a right punch whomever he wants. Has he always been this hot headed or this a recent change? The way he gets violent, I'm surprised he hasn't killed anyone yet. I get the show wants us to always root for Chabby but for some reason I find myself rooting for Stefan and Gabi. Yeah I know what Stefan did to Abby is wrong but it is a soap and I find his character fun to watch. Plus I am so sick of Chabby and their hypocritical, better than everyone else, always getting away everything crap that I automatically find myself rooting for anyone who will make them suffer. Plus I love Ben and I hate how he was thrown under the bus for them. I am looking forward to the return of Kate Mansi because I did like her portrayal of Abby better but I don't know if her return will return will make me root for Chabby. Are Chabby really popular or are they only popular in the minds of the powers that be on the show? I am also really enjoying Ben's current story line and how they are not glossing over anything and showing that he is instantly cured. He was in a psychiatric facility for two years be surrounded by a team of psychiatrists treating his mental illness, counseling him, and wasn't just two weeks with grandma. They show him feeling true remorse for the people he killed and the pain it caused their families and show him taking his meds and struggling with his mental illness. I am also really enjoying him and Ciara together. He's freed from the facility but he's homeless with no money so more realism there. I am also loving Ted and the way he throws the truth in people's face like Rafe, Hope, Brady,and Eve. Would love to hear him throw some hard truths in Chabby's face. I loved how Ted wasn't going to give up Ben as his client just because of Kate. Kate had no business slapping him. Maybe Kate and Chad should be a couple -they both love to hit people.

Awe, it was sad for me to see Theresa go. She is so compelling to watch and I find myself rooting for her and for her and JJ. Meanwhile Chad and this current Abby are about as compelling as watching paint dry. Chad's stuttering and Abby's poor precious princess is annoying to watch. Chad seems to actually come alive a little when Sonny comes around. Maybe Chad should have a fling with Sonny. Has a soap every had a bisexual character or a story line where a man cheats on his wife with another man? I will admit being a fan of Kate Mansi's Abby. Abby was more lively and fun when Kate played her and I am looking forward to Kate's return. This Abby is just so lifeless and boring. It pissed me off that Ben got thrown under the bus to prop up Chabby though. My sis says Ben and Gabi should scheme together and get revenge on them but I like Ben out of the Chabby orb. I actually hope we get to see Ben again soon. I need my Ben fix. I love that he called Ciara and that Ciara was able to help him stay calm while Hope was trying to harass him into a breakdown. To answer the above poster's question. My bro slept with a married woman and she then got pregnant. He went to court to get a paternity test because if the child was his, he wanted to be in his child's life and pay to support his child. The woman and her husband tried to fight him but the Judge ruled in my bro's favor because the judge did not feel it was in the best interest of the child to be potentially denied his own father. They had the test done and my bro is the dad. He had to go back to court to fight for visitation because the woman had no problem taking his money to support their child but didn't want him to be a part of their child's life. She wanted their child to think her husband was his dad. My bro did win visitation rights but he really had to fight hard for it. His son knows that my bro is his dad and they see each other regularly. Go Gabi! I am enjoying her revenge for as long as it lasts. Now if only she or someone else can spring a little revenge on Eve, that would be delicious. Rafe and Hope should be fired from their jobs for harassment, denying Ben his rights, and because their is a huge conflict of interest here.

I just caught up on the last few episodes. Did anyone else cringe the way Rafe had Ben on the ground with his hands on the back of his neck and berating him. Oh and I hated the way Rafe was withholding his meds and looking all smug and calling Ben a rat. On the other hand, teeth whitening must have been part of Ben's therapy-his teeth are really, really white. Not that it is a bad thing or anything. First Hope puts out an APB after her adult daughter calls her, tells her she is fine, and that she doesn't want to come home. This move of course caused Ben to be too afraid to get his meds which could have put Ciara in actual danger. Why the heck is Hope even allowed to be a part of this case anyway-she is much too emotionally attached to be objective and smart. I was very impressed the way Ciara was able to talk Ben down after he was hallucinating Clyde was there and the part where she told him to hold her hands because she was real brought tears to my eyes. Wow! Poor Ben of course gets arrested for a fire that happened when he wasn't even there and after Ciara told Hope that Ben wasn't there when the fire started. Same thing Ben is telling them. I hate Hope dismissing everything Ciara has said about Ben taking care of her and not starting the fire and chalked up to stockholm's syndrome or whatever it's called Listen to your daughter-she keeps telling that she wanted to stay with Ben, she didn't want to come home, and Ben took care of her. Heck even the hospital told Hope whomever set Ciara's leg did a really good job. I hope the fire was caused accidentally and Hope and Rafe will have to let Ben go. It would be pretty funny if Abigail set the fire. She does have a habit of setting things on fire. Would love to see Hope's reaction if precious Abigail caused a fire that almost killed her precious Ciara. Loved the scene where Ciara walked into the room and the look on Ben's face. Would anyone like to see Jordan come back to help her little bro? The custody case. Ted is that his name is a really good lawyer and I love him speaking the truth. Theresa broke my heart today. How many times does she have tell Brady and Eve that she spent a year and a half in hell being raped over and over to keep Tate and Brady alive before they actually start to listen and show some compassion. She was crying and broken and Brady just stares at her without an ounce of compassion for her. Why does Chloe get so much compassion about being with the Noodle for two weeks but Theresa doesn't get any after she was there for a year and a half being RAPED over and over. Chloe was not harmed or raped. She sat in a room for two weeks and got to sing a song. Her son didn't get to see her for two weeks but Theresa's son and her were are apart much longer. I love JJ for having her back and speaking the truth. When he did get so wise and handsome? Such a compassionate and mature man too. Brady should take lessons from him. Eve I can't even with her. I like her actress ever since her days playing Blair on One Life To Live but I can't stand Eve. What a horrible sister! The Sonny killing Leo story line is boring and silly. I would rather have seen different characters either siding with Sonny or wondering if he might be guilty of harassment and the trial than this silliness. I hope it doesn't ruin Paul and Will because I like them together.

Why does everyone just automatically assume that Sonny is innocent of sexual harassment and that Leo is pulling a scam? Yes the audience knows this but shouldn't a character or two wonder if maybe Sonny might be guilty? I think the story would be more interesting if one or two people thought that maybe Sonny did sexually harass Leo. It would more realistic anyway. It bothers me too that Abigail got away with murder and then turns around and acts all put out that Ben has been released so soon. Hello Abs, you murdered someone , framed someone and got her sent to prison, and almost killed 3 other people and never had to serve any time and everyone things you are so perfect and precious. At least Ben spent a couple of years locked up in a psychiatric facility where he received intensive therapy. Hope too with her Ben should be locked up forever speech. Hope murdered someone and she's not locked up anymore and even gets to be the police commissioner. Brady and Eve makes my blood boil. I hope that somehow Theresa gets custody of Tate. I am impressed with Theresa's self control because if I had been her and Eve told me I was just playing house after I had been a sex slave for over a year I would have smacked the crap out of Eve. Do Brady and Eve need to see a recording of Theresa being raped and tortured repeatedly for them to get it in theirs heads all the horror that Theresa has been. How can Eve have no compassion at all for her sister? For a second there I thought Will was with a girl because I thought I saw a pair off boobs next to him and I was confused but then I realized it was Paul, lol. I wish Will's first memories were memories of his daughter instead of Sonny. I am really loving JJ right now. Keep that up writers. I bet Hope's head will explode if Ciara defends Ben once they are found. She'll probably assume her precious baby was brainwashed by Ben. Hope putting an APB out on Ben might keep him from getting the medicine he needs so Hope could be the one putting Ciara in danger. Oh and what is it with this website. I log in to this site, start typing my comments right away and go to paste the comments only to find out the website signed me out and I have to sign back in. I was only signed in for 2 minutes. Argh.

So Kayla liked to Steve and is telling him that Stephan sold the bionic eye program to another country. So does this mean Steve will have his remaining eye removed and a bionic eye put in? Once he then finds out the truth, is he going to demand his old blind eye back? Also why have they never discussed a cornea transplant to help Steve regain his eye sight. I wonder if Leo is going to tell Sonny everything and they will work together to get back at Kate or he is going tell Sonny he'll drop the case and give Sonny proof against Kate in exchange for a large sum of cash? Abigail and Chad are major hypocrites. She didn't pay for her crimes at all and only had a few weeks of therapy and they are both acting all put out and upset because Ben has been released after spending a few years locked up in a psychiatric facility? Same with Hope saying that Ben should be locked up forever. Right back at you Hope, last I checked you killed someone too. Not to mention the crimes you committed while you were taking that sleep medicine. Ciara and Ben were the bright spots of the episode. That sponge bath and her accidentally kicking Ben in the face because she's so ticklish. My boyfriend can relate to that-he's been the victim of a foot to the face when he has tried to be romantic and rub my feet because my feet are extremely ticklish. I liked that a character admitted that they were dirty and smelled after being stuck somewhere for days but I thought it was funny when she took off her dirty shirt but not her cami. Woudln't the cami be dirty too? She put Ben's clean shirt right over it. Wonder what is going to happen with Ben now that he is on his last pill. Will he leave to get more medicine and get grabbed by Hope and Rafe or does he stay in the cabin and experience some symptoms of his mental illness? What is up with Kate's suit? It's so ugly in my opinion. Did love the scenes with Stephen and Kayla. He lights up a bit around her. Steve definitely knows something is up with Kayla even if he can't see her face. Is it just me or is Chad's suit rather tight? Had to watch the episode on demand. Finally got to see the show live and it gets pre-empted by the Maryland shooting. Save the news stories until the actual news comes in the evening please. No need to interrupt the soaps. Also, I wish they would stop with the anti-smoking ads. Even when I watch it in the evening, we usually watch it while we eat dinner so I don't need to see deformed faces, gum disease, and holes in throats while I am eating. Yeesh.

Wow, I am loving JJ right now. I loved him sticking up for Theresa and reminding Brady and Eve that she gave up her son to save his and Brady's life and that she was scared. I also love him telling Brady he needed to look in the mirror, lol. I am so happy to see someone defending Theresa. If Theresa was my sister, I would have done anything I could to help her to heal and to feel safe again. I would tell her how happy I was that she was free and how sorry I was that she was raped and held captive for over a year. I am so sick and tired of Brady and Eve acting like Chloe had it so terrible- she was only there for a few days, had to dance, sing, and wear a dress. She wasn't raped repeatedly and in a constant state of terror every day for over a year. Yeah, it was wrong of Theresa to not tell anyone where Chloe was but the poor girl was terrified, traumatized, and suffering PTSD. Why do these characters not care about the suffering she endured? Why is Eve only thinking with her crotch instead of thinking about the horrors her sister had to live through? Why isn't at least one character saying what if Leo is telling the truth? I think it would be more interesting to see a character or two believing Leo and not everyone already jumping on the Leo set it up and Sonny is innocent bandwagon. Yes the audience knows that Leo set up the whole thing but the characters don't. Has anyone other than Justin seen the photos of Leo and Sonny making out/having sex at the office? I am still happy that Gabi is out of prison and I loved her scenes with Stephan. I am really enjoying Stephan and I am intrigued about this story line. Will Gabi get her revenge though or the show going to have her and Stephan fall in love? That's some fast recovery Abigail had. We are supposed to believe she is completely integrated and no longer a danger to anyone after only a few weeks in therapy? She better not say anything about Ben getting released to soon because that would said completely hypocritical. At least Ben spent a few years locked up in a psychiatric facility. I would rather Eli and Lani have their baby alive than Abigail have another child. Abigail and Chad should not be allowed anywhere the near Thomas. She is mentally unstable and he is violent. I am looking forward to more Ben/Ciara scenes.

I am excited to have Ben back on the show. I think RSW is doing a fantastic job showing us Ben's struggle with what he has done and trying to understand why he did it. He doesn't want to enjoy hurting people anymore and he doesn't want to be a monster anymore. He is trying to the break cycle of abuse and trying to learn how to be a better man than his father. I like how he mentioned that Abigail's cheating on him caused him to lose his grip on reality. Abigail needs to be held accountable for what she did to him. She was really cruel to cheat on him and lie to him over and over, even promising to marry him all while sleeping with Chad. The image of Clyde laughing at his two small devastated children crying over their dead kitten is sickening. Uncommon opinion but I don't hate Ciara and I actually enjoy her scenes with Ben. It kind of reminds me of Beauty and the Beast. That doesn't mean I haven't found her annoying at times but in her scenes with Ben, I actually like her and she was okay in scenes with Tripp. I just don't enjoy all the petty jealousy stuff between her and Claire. Is Chad secretly gay? He has more chemistry with Sonny than he has ever had with Abigail and the way he kept moving closer to Sonny, I thought he was going to go in for a kiss. Would anyone want a Chad/Sonny pairing? Kayla is really not good at scheming, sneaking around, and lying. Maybe Sami can give her some lessons. JJ is one of a few good men in Salem. He treats women like equals and respects them. I commend and love him for the way he defends Theresa and is being a friend to her and the way he took care of Lani. I had to stop watching when she went into early labor because I had a feeling she was going to lose the baby and having lost one myself a few years ago, I cannot watch dead baby story lines. Just too painful so I will be fast forwarding those scenes although I do love me some Eli so that makes me sad. Was Hope wearing a red blazer, dressy blouse, and yoga pants to work? LOL. I get her being worried about Ciara. She saw the wrecked motorcycle and could hear that Ciara was in pain. I know Rafe isn't very popular on here but I really wanted to see a scene with him and Gabi after she was freed. Poor Gabi-now her little girl says she hates her. Why does the show keep torturing her? I want her to have some happiness and real man who truly loves her and only her. Stephen-give Brady and Eve hell! I am glad I can still watch Tyler Christoper on my screen. Had to stop watching GH. Way too much Sonny/Jason worship on that show. Loved seeing Steve and Kayla. They are one of my favorite couples. I have not missed Abigail-loved having her off my screen. Hot cross buns, Eric is one sexy man.

I read online that David's injuries are: Broken nose, concussion, and he had bleeding on his brain. I know Jordan is well liked here so my unpopular opinion is I cannot stand him and wish he was gone so that some of the other guys would get some time in front of the camera and with Becca. I bet if Jordan was the one who fell on his face, he wouldn't be laughing the way he is about David getting injured.

I read an interview with RSW where he said that Deidre Hall was instrumental in him coming back. She told the top dogs at the show that RSW was so talented and that he deserved to come back and that it would be a shame to not bring someone so talented back to the show to paraphrase. I wonder if Ben's disturbing moment from his childhood is that Clyde sexually abused him. He would then be able to relate a little to Ciara's rape and they will bond over that. Just a guess.

I actually think Ben has a right to feel betrayed, angry, and hurt by Abigail cheating on him. She lied to him over and over again, accepted his marriage proposal, and kept sleeping with Chad behind his back. He may have already had some mental health issues such as post traumatic stress disorder as the result of his abusive dad and being abused like that makes you feel unworthy, unloved, unwanted, and all you want is someone to truly love you. He thought he finally had that with Abigail and then she turned around and lied to him and cheated on him over and over again. When she accepted his marriage proposal, he thought he finally had that one person to love him and he could finally have a loving family only to have Abby continue to cheat on him and lie to him. The abuse, his abusive father, and Abigail's treatment of him is more than enough reason to cause him to go over the edge and slip further into mental illness. Chad also played a role since he was cheating with Abigail. Abigail should have broken up with Ben first and then return to Chad. Cheating on a person is never okay and it can cause a huge amount of a pain, feelings of betrayal, and anger to the person being cheated on. Chad should really step back and shut his mouth. His wife, father, and brother are all killers and they all got to run around the town free and everyone loved Andre and forgot about all the people he murdered. Hope also needs to shut up about Ben-she's a killer herself. I get so tired of the hypocrite and holier than though attitudes of Chad, Abigail, Hope, and the Hortons. I did like Ben and Will in their scenes. I think Will started to see that maybe Ben has worked hard to recover, is remorseful, and deserves a second chance. Heck, at least Ben actually served time even if it was in a mental hospital unlike Abigail. Abigail killed one person, tried to kill three others, and not to mention at one point she lit Ben on fire and she's never seen the inside of jail cell. I also enjoyed the scenes with Stefan and Kate and the way he scared her. I also love how Marlena told Kate to shut up. He was so much fun in those scenes and I also enjoy his scenes with Kayla. I also like seeing Steve and Trip sharing scenes. I understand Steve's frustration and not wanting help picking up the glass and I am glad they are showing us his trouble with adjusting to his blindness. I also think it is intriguing that normally it's Steve who makes a decision for him and Kayla without consulting her but this time it's the other way around with Kayla making the decision. It will be interesting to see how Steve reacts.

I am excited about Ben's return and enjoy my soap as escapism after a long day at work. I find tennis so boring and wish they would keep it on a sports channel but I know there a lot of tennis fans so I hope those fans will enjoy watching the matches. I guess there are worse things the show could be preempted for.

Connor did apologize to Becca about it and said that wasn't who he is. He even asked her to throw his picture from that contest into the pool because that guy is not who he is and wants Becca to get to know his real self.

Days is not on Thursday or Friday due to Tennis being on those days instead. Personally, I wish they would show the tennis matches on espn and let us watch our soaps.
