I just loved the episode!! One of the strongest ones this season. It just had all the intrigue, snarky comments and backstabbings!! I liked it a lot since it came back to the murder and everyone around it... I absolutely cannot wait for the next episode!! What is it with Alice Cooper?!?! Is she totally crazy! Going behind her daughter's back and trying to play all goodie goodie to her boyfriend only to get at the dad!! Come one, how evil is that!! And then she gets all whiney and cry-ey when the daughter doesn't want to come home?!!? Eugh, I really love to hate her! I don't know how more evil she can get with this! I hope Betty does stand up to her! I was sooooo hoping Dark Betty was going to make an appearance... I think if anyone can bring it out of her besides Chuck, it would be mommy dearest.... Archie is such a buffoon for wanting to do the right thing! I'll give him credit for trying to help out his girl an his friend but man does it screw it up... It was nice to see both A + V snooping around but come one, making out in a trailer house?!?! Just weird! Cheryl... That girl.... No wonder Papa blossom suddenly showed an interest in her... She's so crazy (or evil, can't decide which!) that -she- can pretty much be the next blossom boss... As for jughead, come on! REally? Pass out on a chance on moving to Toledo?? I would say "run! run away as fast as you can!" Poor kid can't catch a freaking break.... Was he born with a permanent cloud over his head?!!? Gah... I really am starting to get pissy at the producers for "the entire universe is against jughead"... I hope Archie and veronica make their dues and try to help FP and jughead and try to figure out the truth... And I hope Betty will win back her guy! AS for the murder mystery, I got my own theories but I think its obvious who the murderer is.. I just can't wait for all the twisty parts and the surprises...

Its a nice way to play in the asexuality bit... but what bugs me is that, ok, he's jughead, he's weird, we get that... But -he- pursued -her-, he was the one that actively took the first step... You cant back track that and suddenly go asexual... How can you be the one to kiss someone else and then go "nah, I'm not into the whole physical stuff" And jughead seems really passionate about Betty... It would take a lot to turn that around... I just find it weird sometimes... this whole ship is weird... and incredibly oh-so- cute.

I think they've gotten good solid stories for the parents and okay actors, it would be a waste to phase them out now. The kids and the parents stories are so intertwined with one another. I feel like if they got it right then they should continue with it. There's still room for expansion and interaction from the minor characters, as long as tptb allow it...

I know!! That's my thoughts exactly! I'm like, nah, can't get any more revelations and then bang! THey show up with something new! I mean come on! There's dirt on absolutely everyone in this little town!! I am with you on that one! Created an account for the same reason!!! Archie is the only comic book that I ever read and that's more or less the only reason I'm watching the show!! Ouh!!! You got a nice clue on that one... I'm wondering (from another post somewhere in the forum) if the Joneses are also involved in this. I honestly think the show has gotten a good start. I know the pace has been a bit too fast and I'd like to see more storylines from the other characters and the parents. Oh! The parents!!! I love them and their horrible secrets and scandals!!! I love the adult cast, its just so much fun to bring back old heartthrobs. BAck to the fast pace though... I mean, they had 1 season, 13 episodes to try to write about a murder and all the connections and character developments, of course they had to jump over several things... It really does suck but not much you can do about it... I also did enjoy the first episodes a lot better then the last few, could it be because of the character development? Don't get me wrong, still loving the show, the episodes and all that but isn't there a bit too much Jughead? (and really I love him and am a total bughead). Is he some sort of first choice because he's the narrator? Maybe it just pops up a lot more since his character is so popular nowadays... I am missing Reggie... I mean, yeah, he's a douche but I thought he sorta got along with the rest of the gang and not just being a dumb jock... I hope he shows up a lot more next season. And Chuck, I was not aware of who he was in the comics but they made him pure evil... I am so looking forward to the end of the season... From all the speculations and spoilers I've read, omg, I just can't wait!! And the dancing choreography... Meh... Unnecessary...

Yes, yes and triple yes. ? I so would be down with that. Count me in.??? Aftet watching Freddie Prinze Jr at the Star Wars thing, I cannot think of anyone else to play Hiram Lodge. And he fits in with all the 80s 90s hearthrobs, scary movies and he sorta can pass as a latino.

Omg. Yes and yes!! Make her less pretty and she would be fine I hate Chuck and hope he dissapears from Riverdale world but love the way he managed to push Bettys buttons. If there's anyone that can bring forth Dark Betty, it might be him... Ouh. An Fp and alice hookup... Now that i would be in for.... maybe theyve had that already??? Now that we know those two knew eachother before, could it be tied in with the abortion alice had?

The episode was amazing! First off, Julie Cooper rises from the ashes again, now as a blonde snake!! hahaah!! Omg! That Alice!! Not only does she have crazy genes but also from the other side of town and a potentially former snake?!?!?! they so -have- to do a flashback episode with the parents next season, it's just so damn interesting!! I wish they could just side focus on them... And the whole exchange with FP, those two knew each other pretty well at one point!!! Finally! Some Barchie!!! They've been beating around the bush since the first episode! I'm glad its done!! Hopefully ARchie will stick around her for several episodes instead of going on to the next random girl. Gah, we've had one Brandon Walsh already, don't need to rehash one more. And that little smile exchange between Veronica and Jughead in the end, I was like, yeah, you don't smile like that unless you know its the start of something nice!! And Cheryl: Deliciously evil... When she was going on with her little games, I was like "No wonder no one came to your freaking birthday!!". How can she go from good and semi-nice to just evil?! Poor damaged girl... I'm glad they brought up the twincest! Ha! Nice to get it back Cheryl!! Chuck -- such a bad guy! I'm fearing his potential return.... The party in general -- Oh man, I was sooo digging the whole Seth Rogen bday thing!! lol!!! I liked that it brought most of the kids together! But, ok, it was definitely Moose that was making out with CHeryl, no? Isn't he meant to be with Midge (she's been mentioned, yes?)?? One thing that bugs me is -how- well do they know one another? I mean, ok, Betty knew both Jughead and Archie before but wouldn't she be aware of all his problems, if not -some-, and even if his birthday? Were they maybe only friendly to one another because of Archie, there only knew bits? Superficial friends? I just don't get that part but then again, Jughead is a completed case. Betty and Jughead...... On one side, it was so thoughtful of Betty to want to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday but to do something he most likely would not want... As for jughead, eugh, I actually thought he was a bit douchy. I totally get his troubled past but to just tell her off like that... A bit harsh. He is the loner, ok, we get it, but don't speak bad of others (meaning that he wouldn't hang out with Kevin or Veronica were if not for Betty)... Is it self preservation? Is he trying to push people away before they realise he's just a freaky kid? I'm glad he told her that he brought out his insecurities with Archie. I'm happy they managed to overcome this in the end of the episode. I think it can only make them stronger (me hopes!). Dark Betty -- she is always welcome! I like that side of her! I hope it will help her in the future! Wouldn't mind see her presence for a while in season 2, hahaah! FP - His past is catching up with him, all his wrongdoings.... Not looking forward to the next episode.... I did like him despite his failures! oh, had to add... Jughead taking out his beanie?!?!! Really? No reactions!!!

I know! Feels as though I'm holding my breath every episode waiting for the end (sighs)! It's like they're meant to implode at any moment and who could blame them with all the baggage they both have!! And with teen dramas, are there any tv shows with the perpetual couple that lasts forever? I doubt it... OMG! Yes, a total look-alike!!!

I cannot believe I actually bought these comics and they were surprisingly good. I think its meant to be a series, no?? Cant waitnfor the next one. Would recommend to any riverdale fan.

OMG, did they add crazy in Riverdale's water source?!?!?! Just when you thought there weren't enough secrets, they just bring out new ones!! I just love all the interactions, the dramas and scandals between the adults. I am very intrigued by the fact that the blossoms might be responsible for imprisoning Hiram Lodge, thus adding him as a murder suspect (how the hell did Reggie Mantle end up on the murder board?). The blossoms are just weird, creepy and I keep playing Dracula music whenever they are in their mansion. God knows what the hell they're up and that red decoration they have, just weird... Alice Cooper, what a lioness!!! The rock throwing, the cherry pie (OMG, didn't notice that!) and how she seems to be somewhat nice(well-Alice nice) to Archie and Jughead!! She's growing on me!! Archie... (sighs) Oh Archie, trying hard to like him and he does have his positive sides but man is he so douchy!! I think he had his heart in the right place but his kindness is his undoing. On the other hand, I think Archie and Cheryl complemented one another. Veronica was awesome this ep. Helping out Ethel (who until now, I thought she might have been like a sociopath or something like that from the vibes in e3) was I think a nice gesture. The whole pearl necklace thing was quite sad. Her dad wasn't this perfect picture person anymore... And Bughead. You know, as much as I adore them together, I appreciated the fact that they got little air time this episode and the few times they were, it was so intense. The whole motivation speak from Juggie in the newspaper dpmt, omg, what a great gf!!! I don't understand how betty manages to remain insane with everything that's happening around her, same with juggie. They so need one another. That is one of my greatest fears, I mean, there they are, dealing with a murder and a crazy ass family, one louse/gangbanger of a dad, homelessness... I sorta feel like one more secret could just be the last drop before they just implode or come out stronger again... I thought the episode was great as it showed more of the characters but as many have said already, its so rushed. I can't wait for the next season where they'll have the time to develop stories... I do hope they won't cut out the parents' stories in the upcoming seasons... Another shout out from a fellow Canadian, always good to bring out maple syrup!!! Not from the west coast but a big shout out to FP for mentioning my home town in ep 8 lol!!! :)

I know!!!! And I feel that is monumentally wrong!! I mean its freaking Archie from Archie comic books!! I think its a bit strange that suddenly jughead (and betty) -have- the.most interesting stories l... Not that theres anything wrong with it but you'd expect archie to have something more interesting to do in this whole thing... a bit of a bummer in a sense that in the end, its like, archie who?? The dude screw over his friends??

Just to alleviate your pain, you're not the only 30+ person with the same "problems" lol :-S :-S... I love and hate fanfics right now, I really do... I was actually surprised I could get hooked on teen dramas again lol... I blame this on Luke Perry and Skeet Ulrich(how can that not be good!!!)... But I really like the mystery around the whole show where everyone seems to be a potential murderer and everyone's hiding secrets... What I find weird is how FP can come out as boozed out drunk one day and then be a smart ass leader of a biker gang, I mean, what gives... He's so interesting, he comes off as a bad guy (of course he is) but still shows some loyalty to Fred (I think) I am so afraid he'll do something that will tear apart bughead, jughead seems loyal to him still... Despite everything... (sighs "kids...). WIth all the discord seemingly developing between Fred and archie and fred and his company, I wonder if Fred will explode and do something even worse... He's got it in him I think... A show down between him and Hiram, ohhh, that would be great!! I actually didn't who Jughead was until they actually called his name (didn't follow all the previews before the show started). And I knew even less who the actor was, so imagine my surprise when it turned out to be one of the little twins (well, not so young anymore of course)... Yeah... Still thought that kids show of theirs was still are.... hahhhaha... He's a cutie pie! ON an end note, I do hope Ginger Judas (the name is sticking with me!! ) does something big (bad or good) just to get him more air time and character development... Well, seems like he's floating everywhere and not finding his place...

I am finding myself more and more intrigued by the parents backstories than the kids. How were they related to one another when in high school. Would love to see a flashback episode. Finding myself loving the cooper girls. Despite alice being crazzyyyy, i thought i saw vulnerability and it suits her. I hope Joaquin is going to have a change of heart and decise to be with kevin cuz ye likes him. They are so swoon. And bughead. Gah. What a sweet couple. Havent shipped a couple this much since veronica and logan on veronica mars. Utter swoon. They just have to be end game. If they would break up, I'm wondering if it would have anything to do with FP. Please leave them alone... And shout out to luke perry. Got a déjà vu feeling when he showed up by papa blossoms car ... so Dylan McKay-ish heheh...

Just read that one-shot Riverdale/Archie comic, pretty good to know the backstories of the characters, although I wish there was more!!! Wish they could write from like a year before Jason got killed and more in-depth... Nevertheless, worth every penny
