  1. OMG! Someone that speaks my language!! I feel the exact same way although thankfully now I've toned it down at bit after the beginning of the season!!! I'm still loving the show but wondering what type of story they are trying to pull because I just keep getting confused, especially with everyone's "way-of-being" has totally changed/transformed from season 1. I am with your there sister (?)... Being a total bughead fan, I worship whatever cute scenes they have together just because I know they're just getting send huge piles of crap at them just to split them... HAd this discussion so many times already lol.... Well, now it's getting to the point that if they won't be able to get together and stay together, then fuck it, this torture is getting really annoying lol. Hmmm, maybe that's what they're trying to do just so fans will lean towards Barchie? having them being end-game? who knows.... All I know is that I was grateful for the 30 second of pillow talk that Bughead had... I'll take that any day lol :D About the episode, loved the format even if it was weird in its own way, loved that they split it in three, very original... Not the greatest episode, more of a filler?? But still interesting because we got very good, unusual storylines... ARchie + Jughead I admire that Archie stuck by his friend even if he knew he was helping him doing something bad... He was the voice of reason and he was loyal to the end. I really hope he won't give up on jughead. It was nice to see how they really stuck to eachother, the whole NYC talk and all, sigh.. He is worried about jughead and it shows... and I think Jughead himself was made aware of this... Ultimate bromance!! Hopefully they'll share more scenes in the future like that... It really broke my heart when Jughead asked archie to go to the library... Had to laugh at that.... I helped you deliver drugs and now you want to go to the library?!?! lol... And Jughead, (wished I could insert a facepalm GIF).... I will blame his young age and his undying devotion to this dad for falling for Penny's shit crap story!! I mean come on, did he drink from the Andrews' faucet or something and got dumbed down?!?! I just couldn't believe it and now he's falling more and more... He was a freaking broody kid in s1 who didn't trust shit and thought the Serpents were the worst people in the world and now he's riding out to be a drug mole?!?!!? Sorry... I'm a bit loss for words... OH and that actor dude, that was nice! NEver saw candyman because I thought it was such a creepy movie and I was still young at the time but I knew who he was... It was nice to see him alive and be all spooky... Nice one show! Josie + Cheryl Realy creepy of Cheryl, is she like what obsessed with Josie or having a crush?!?! Ouh.. It was nasty that one, making up a stalker to get to Josie... I'm glad we saw the other pussycats talk (yea!) I thought the whole story was okay... And chuck is back at the school?!?! since when?!?!?! How's betty taking it? WHy aren't they talking about that?!?!?! I would actually think of Chuck as nice in this episode (and maybe closer to the Chuck in the comics) if it weren't for all the shit he pulled last season so excuse if I stll think he's a creep!!! when Pop got he phone call at the end of the episode I was hoping it was news that Chuck had gotten killed by BH. And the janitor... I am hoping he's not blackhood because it would be sooo typical to suspect him with his side glances at the girls... B + V I thought that part was actually funny!! Like two girls nancy drewing snooping... Having kevin explain D + D to veronica was sooo cute and the way she tried to get info out of a very sweaty and DILFY keller (I was impressed tbh) was so cute!!! And Keller + McCoy having an affair lol lol lol!! That was wow!!! I was thinking it might've been Alice but having McCoy there!!! Ohhh, the plot thickens... An okay episode, it felt almost like a Halloween episode since it was pretty creepy Next episode sounds promising.... Bughead + party = trouble (that's for sure), I cannot wait to see the jones go for their sunday bike ride (heart eyes) and Varchie, for all their physical chemistry, the fact that she freaks out when the three words are uttered, promises to be great... But ehm, there's 2 episodes before xmas break right? Where's the freaking snow?!?!
  2. Isn't it typical for the otp in teen shows to get every type of drama, secrets, misunderstandings, assummptions (add whatever you want) thrown at them to split them before they eventually, after several seasons(often added with longing gazes and slight touches, etc), they finally get together in this explosion of romance?! ?????? Im assuming tptb are waiting patiently ( if they are at all the more i think about it) to place that scene in the season..maybe towards the end of the season? Still a lot of stuff between them to resolve. They'll get their due... eventually..?
  3. Amazing episode as always! I really was expecting something much worse but this was way better than I expected! Again with the fast pacing! I should stop mentioning this every episode but with the pacing I am having a hard time figuring out what the hell is going to happen for the rest of the season but maybe that's the whole point?? I love that Cheryl finally got some attention! I really felt sympathy for her! And Toni and Cheryl finally met!!! Jarchie! It was nice seeing the brothers from different mothers together again! Archie partially redeemed himself by helping (or at least trying to) Jughead and Betty. What he did at the drag race, calling the cops, he did what was best (according to him) to help out the Serpents + Jug but I don't know, good intentions that might have bad repercussions. One thing that I didn't get was why the Serpents weren't trying to kick his ass when he showed up at the drag race (or at the Ghoulies' lair) when he was the one that had pulled out the gun against one of their own only 2-3 days ago... And now with what happened at the race, i'm pretty sure he's even more popular. I totally understand Jug for getting pissed at him, I mean, now he has his best friend to look after, yet more pressure on his shoulders... The lodges -- My, my, they really are showing their true colors aren't they? And right now, I'm thinking Veronica has a bit of evil in her and i'm wondering whether she's siding with her dad? That look on Mama Lodge when she comments on nick's accident... Must say I loved the way the four core managed to find one another at the Ghoulies' evil lair lol!!! They work best when they're together. And bughead -- AFter that lame ass break-up last episode, I was expecting something worse to happen this episode but seeing as the squabble between Kevin and Betty was totally ok the day after, their semi-reconciliation was so anti-climatic, especially when it is happening BTS!!! I'm relieved they've patched things up -for now - but they are far from the woods yet! Jughead is getting into deeper crap for every episode, who knows how long she'll stand by ... On one side, jug's being a bit too damn pissy towards Betty when he's not been better himself! And the whole thing with Toni, I doubt they actually slept together but they might have done other things... I wonder in that talk BTS between bughead what jug might or might not have reveal about toni. It might create repercussions in the future... Tbh, betty should have seen that coming after seeing toni + jug together at the diner and I hope she'll have it in her heart to forget but it might as well be another stake on the coffin before the dreaded triangle.... I'm glad toni set things out right away but I think they've established a good friendship. They are so heading for a triangle/Barchie they are not even trying to be subtle about it, really annoying!!! Betty rocked this episode, turning the tables around and using her dark betty powers for good and vowing to find out who BH is!! You go girl! And the Sugarman! I knew the damn teacher had something to do with all of this! And Varchie, I do agree with most of the comments mentioned before, about the lack of excitement towards them. Its bland, its ok, they're sexy yes, we know that but they don't have much more than that... Does riverdale exist in a world where climate change actually does exist and the weather can actually go from having snow + frozen river to having a heatwave and summer weather in the space of 2-3 weeks?!?! Hmmmm.... Not cool man, not cool at all... Oh yes Reggie --- I haven't commented om him yet as I am still missing the original Reggie but he's growing on me, he is a douche, but not as sleezy as I'd imagine to be. He seemed so bully-ish in the first season but now he seems like your sleezy friend just trying to have a good time... The way he fessed up when being interrogated, the way he just lends his car to some race. He's a loyal friend. all in all a great episode, damn these American holidays making the rest of the world wait 2 weeks until the next ep... lol (it was a joke, absolutely no insult intended).
  4. Yes. Thats what I've been noticing. He just doesnt get it! Im thinking that as sexy and confident as veronica is, she might feel a lot of pressure because of betty and archie's maybe-insecurities, because of the whole post-shooting that shes just being very overeager with making things work with Archie. They are going to have to provide a hell of a good and covincing story to sell barchie..Barchie as friends is more solid thought, more natural... I liked cheryl and archie, he seemed concerned about her and she needs someone innocent, down to earth, to lighten her life. I liked them in ep 9. Never understood myself the appeal for Archie, being the playboy that he is. What a slut! Lol....
  5. I can understand TPTB and RAS to drag Bughead on and on until they culminate to ultimate reunion but I will not be able to go through several seasons of the "I love you but I can't be with you and it really hurts to be away from you"-type gazes.... Bah.... (reminds me of Dark Angel - yes, I still remember that show). This is very true. I think Betty and Jughead are literally dominating the show (As are the actors), out of everyone, they are also the ones with the better storylines/dramas/conflicts and I think most of the fans are very favourable towards their struggles. Veronica is getting there (if only they accorded even more storyline to the Lodges scrupules and what nots) but Archie... I do feel bad for ARchie because the whole damn universe is -because- of him but still the only thing we get is a pack of muscles and his music. Yeah, I thought the whole shooting thing would have made him tougher (and he has) but the whole red circle thing was just a bitt too laughable and unbelievable. NExt episode seems to bring him back up there and for his own sake, I hope it just continues... Archie deserves to be used better instead of just being a potential rival to bughead or being Veronica's beau. If they had for example brought in the Over the Edge storyline from the comics, that could be some nice drama for Archie. I won't say KJ was badly cast because he's doing a great job but maybe they should not have chosen such a well-known handsome young actor to play a tortured kid that's only seeking for acceptance + belonging, it just creates an imbalance that is very obvious to see... When they first mentioned romeo + Juliet, I always figured they meant in Polly and Jason, now I'm realizing how its about Bughead and it is powerful, it's tragic and cringy almost. Way to add Ridge Forrester in there lol!!! He's the ultimate Archie lol!!! I also think they will get back together albeit it'll be until some new drama comes along (well, duh) and by that I mean, sharing a common brother or falice... As much as I hate the toni jug hookup, i'm not disliking toni yet! We still are not aware of her intentions... I do nto get the feeling her interest is genuine, theres some other plot behind there, aybe related to that peaobdy chick or the good old "I have to get you into the serpents so I can save my family member/bf/gf from getting killed because of a debt"-ploy... Typical cliché. I don't think she said "Juggie" just because it suddenly popped into her head to put it that way. THey might wake up in bed together next ep and well, just have to swallow that one (and try not to throw things at the tv screen). I feel for the actress for getting so much flame thrown at her for something that is beyond all of our control... THIS!!! TPTB sold the story right, we fell for it, they have become the OTP. :D :D :D
  6. Well said. And you keep forgetting that these kids are still going to school! Nah, I understand the darkness and all, we've been warned so many times now and from a recent RAS interview, it doesn't seem to get any lighter anytime soon... Yes, the Barchie friendship scenes are nice and we get a glimpse of how things used to be between the two. I'm still hoping Archie will stick by her side and help her with BH but I am very curious as to what he's going to do with all the info he has on bughead. Is he going to help them and spill the secrets? Is he going to keep everything for himself and drag Betty into an unwilling triangle (meaning stringing her along again), is he going to be piseed off at Jug for getting into the serpents that he's deliberately going to put rocks on the road? I get the feeling that privileged rich kids from big cities are usually more exposed to like sex, drugs and rock n roll lifestyle from a young age so in a sense it wouldn't surprise me that Veronica did have a similar past... Didn't she say that she was sleeping around when she was younger in order to get daddy's approval last season? Meh... With the fast pacing, I would like to think that Betty will find out about Toni/Jug by next episode (thus encouraging her spiraling down). I still have mixed reviews about the kiss, it seems definitely OOC from jug's part and I haven't seen Toni show a definite interest in him so far... Damn the fast pacing, i'm worried about next ep, will we find them in bed already? I sort of understand the 180 on jug, like you've specified already. I think he thought he could keep a leg on each side and remained "true" to himself as being to loner and toughen it out but I think the beating in ep2 changed everything... And then he learned about FP being the mediator and then Archie eagerly fed his insecurities with Betty and he went "fuck that, we were doomed from the beginning, she belongs with Archie, i'm a serpent, this IS romeo + Juliet, I don't have anyone" and then Toni was there so boom! voila, a moment of weakness + heartbreak, hence the damn kiss... It's its own spiraling down.... But like I said already, Toni's got nuthin' on bughead.... I will expect a reconciliation eventually, goddamn RAS better provide that, but maybe half-season, xmas ep? Yes, he's seriously distracted by the Serpent thing and his dad and the shooting that he doesn't notice what Betty is going through... I mean, if he thought Betty was doing fine the last time they were together at the beginning of the episode then i'm sorry, you're just too damn busy, too much stuff going on... I wonder how jug's going to react when he learns what betty's been going through.... (evil grin).
  7. Yes yes yes. That's exactly what they've become and that is sooo extremley unfair... I do not think i can stand for that for ao very long. It's been done sooo many thats its sooo annoying... Shame on you wanting poor juggy dead, lol. I think that might've hurt a few but it seemed to be in a humorous note... You know archie, as much he's the main character in a way, he is so extendable... i mean what does he bring other than music and humping teachers and making gay porn? Lol... nah, I'm not liking archie all that much, he had a great start now in season 2 but meh, letting nick prounce around all over the place, not so cool...
  8. Omg. Your comment made me lol. I'm loving these humouristic answers and comments. Its fun talking trash about cheesy teeny shows. I mean you would think that shows wpuld have figured new and original story ideas but they still go for the cliche storylines eugh. I think a toni and jug friendship is like what betty and archie are... good friends that have eachothers backs... it makes more sense... no offense to whoever but Toni, even if she's interested in jug, cannot compete with betty, sorry. She'll realise that pretty quickly. And since we know that toni is in fact a part of the gang, she'll fond her place.... Sigh, i watched the episode after a night shift so you can imagine i didnt get a lot of sleep after that (and neighbour chopping trees isnt helping, stupid chainsaw)... Yeah... what more drama can they add after so much stuff in 5 episodes.. a birth? Aliens? Teen pregnancy? Climate disaster? Hmmm... archie is sitting on a lot of information regarding jug and betty, what is he going to do about it? He has the ability to reunite bughead... will the jealousy bug make an appearance and he'll try to keep her for himself? Last thing, using sign of the times? Really! That i would be expecting from a teeny show not riverdale (no offense, i love that song)...
  9. The episode was amazing, i'm still in this show!!! But it was way too much! I have to point out the pacing yet again, I mean, ok, two weeks in and there's been way too many clues about who BH is that they can't seriously drag it out for the entire season and wait until the last episodes to reveal who it is, can they?... so that means, what else do they have planned?? Now thtat's scary! Ok, I think they're pulling a Grundy again with the whole Red Circle thing, just one episode from this huge massive fight and already its almost ignored and forgotten!!! Yeah, a bit annoyed with the pacing, they could have used several episodes to see how everyone's doing. What the hell happened to Archie's vigilante status?!!? There he was letting this sleezy guy chatting up his girl and dissing his town and he was just staring like a kicked puppy?!?! Come on Arch, grow a pair!!! Eugh, I accept Jughead's noble cause of being the guy to step in as the mediator betweetn both sides but it was heart wrenching to watch... It was sad, yeah the whole initiation was stupid and whatever but I felt so sorry for him... How the hell can he get out of this unscathed? Is he meant to get a bad ending? Poor kid... Meow!!! Can you give the girls an ovation for rescuing Cheryl and beating the crap out of Nick!! That's girl power for you! Nick! What a sleeze ball... It's nice that he comes around to reveal Veronica's dirty past but I hope he has another purpose than to be BH's next target. Ohhh, Alice, sweet alice in that (imo) ss chic wear (which I was also convinced was Cheryl in the first place) and that snake necklace... Ouh, sweet indeed!!! I hope the revelation of her past will reconnect her to her roots and help out somehow with FP or the Serpents in general.... But what I was completely surprised is how Betty did not react even more when she found out about mommy dearest!?!?! I mean yeah, she went out and published the article but still... I don't know, I've been getting the feeling that Veronica is somewhat desperate to make things work with Archie? Am I the only one that's noticing that? Don't get me wrong, they have the sexy chemistry going on but she's just being sooo damn loyal to him but its sorta like doing what she can to make him happy and sticking by him no matter what? That's it like forced? I gotta hand it to her that she took Betty's honest truth in a fashion but god knows if that's going to create tension (a la comic books) between the two in the long run. The Lodges -- still no clue what they're up to but its up to no good... Eh, that SoDale thing, that's where the Twilight drive in used to be right? Betty -- Oh that poor girl... I was suffering with her all throughout the episode.... Gotta hand it to her to actually comply to BH's wishes and going through them... Everything the BH is making her do is making her go darker and i'm just wondering how dark will she go... Lili was excellent in this epi and kudos to her! The whole break-up saga (which reminds me of MerDer on grey's anatomy) --- My little bughead heart is shattered right now, I knew it was coming but I never thought it would have been like that... I understand why she sent Archie there, I don't think she would have been able to go through it without Jughead picking up on the lies or without revealing the truth but Archie went over the line as always... He REALLY did a good job at convincing Jughead that Betty wanted to break up with him, he probably got pissed because of finding out he was helping the Serpents or because of his secret jealousy of their relationship and made things ten times worse... Seeing as Jughead could always pick up his father's lies, I really hoped he could pick up on Archie's as well and for a moment I think he did but I think his insecurities about them, the town divided and pretty much the entire universe against them, he just didn't fight it and went with the initiation... It was very evident the heartbreak he felt when the message got through, it was hard to watch, snif... I think they'll get back together, eventually, they still love one another.... RAS better come with a hotter scene than what Varchie's been getting... And the Toni kiss at the end... WTF!!! Yeah, ok, boo Toni, home wrecker grrr.... I can understand that he's vulnerable and now he is alone, the serpents are his family and Toni's the only one that "cares" for him but I don't know... They have each other's backs, that i'm convinced about and Toni doesn't strike me as bad, just sorta like, "i'm in this too and we can't get out"... Now post breakup, I'm more worried that Jug's going to on a bigger path of self-destruction.... You know, if they are going for a Barchie pairing, they are doing it very nicely, everything is leading to that point... Not that I want that but everything's pointing to that... From next week's previews, I guess Jarchie reconcile... Maybe it will be anticlimatic like last episode between Kevin + Betty. I hope Archie will tell Jug the truth or give I'm clues. Like someone pointed out, maybe then we'll see the scene where Betty helps fix Jug's car? Will she be acting like in the beginning o fthe show after ARchie's refusal, planting smiles on her face, happy to be -friends- with Jug and even happier when/if she sees him with Toni? I dearly hope not... And FP, what does he think about his kid joining the Serpents? Great episode, loved it tremendously, I hope it doesn't get darker than this because my nerves can't take it lol.... I'm loving the show, it's different yes, I just gotta start thinking that its not a teeny-soapy drama, this is dark shit... Oh, hey, we got to see Josie and Reggie hook up!! :D And why oh why doesn't anybody go to the police when they need help anymore lol!!!
  10. That would a typical sweet ending to the show.... i can picture him standing next to a blow out picture of his book, looking proud ... a fit ending to a great show... A Dawson's creek-ish ending would be way too happy(and slightly cheesy) for this type of show, imo. On the other hand, i can also imagine him writing this from jail (aware of the jones luck). or like a manuscript found in his trailer after x amount of years.... nice twist ending for a season finale maybe...
  11. WHAT?? Are the clues that obvious?!?!? I've been refraining from rewatching them due to keeping an obsession at an arm's length lol but has there been that many clues already?!?! I have several suspicions now but not enough that I can be certain about it... And the weather!! yeah... I mean, every show universe seems to come with its own weather system really! lol!!I It was really funny how with the downpour from last episode, Jughead still managed to remain quite dry when he was chatting with Betty, lol.... Not even one little drop of water on the floor... Hmmm, maybe they'll soon be chopping a xmas tree in shorts because its unusually warm!
  12. I agree! I mean, its like what, couple of days or max 1 week after the shooting and its already the fourth episode?! Its like the whole town is in an uproar already on the brick of self-implosion! Yes, the overdramatic twists are quite frightful and the fast pace in the storyline makes me worry at how much it will change throughout the season... its exciting, but scary as well... Keeps you on your toes though... It wouldn't have been dramatic without the rain!! Lol!!! It was sooo delicious to see! Boys fighting stupidly over some dumb argument!!! How much cheesy tv is that lol!!! It was fun to watch though!!!
  13. Loved the deleted scenes! Skeet really did some good acting there. I get the alternative endings and all but why did the writers not go on from there and incorporate that into this season? Doesn't make much to turn things around... (not complaining, still love this show no matter what...) Careful what you wish for lol... Alice's little speech of closing SSHS is sooo going to bite her in the ass.... That's what i still dont get, ss is part of the town right? Does mccoy not care about them? Or the sheriff when it comes to the drugs and violence that roams on wvery street it seems... Toni is sassy. Got to give her that. Betty surprised me whem she let go of everything. I was like damn girl, stand up for yourself and for your boy... a confrontation would have made things a lkt worse...
  14. Me too... they really did a good job at making Archie an unlikable character and its annoying bc hey it's freaking Archie. I'm really hoping the show will make him better... so far so good but going vigilante the way he did was a bit too laughable and cheesy tbh... While bughead are just so freaking cute that its disgusting lol. Two characters that are so flawed with their own struggles but still very grounded.... sometime you think they are the only people in the whole town that make sense... and theyre just kids! Killing off half a bughead would create such a storm... i fear the reaction afterwards.... hey, I'm just afraid if they go for Barchie og a Toni/Jug hookup?.... The horror that awaits us... ??
  15. So harsh! If they do something like that it will create a lot of backlash... doubt the show would survive without Jughead or any of the core four. There would be a lot of flaming posts from distraught bughead fans all over the world sent to the CW lol... And tbh, I can't see jughead being Tonis type... I really can't!
  16. What an episode... Firstly, I just loved the fighting scene between the Southside and Northside, I mean, what beautiful filming, the light, the rain and the song! It was beautiful to watch while they were kicking the hell out of one another!! Other than that, everyone's going darker and darker and they are so far from being done that god knows what more can happen!!! And I think the show has been telling us all along how its not just about the serial murderer going around but about the fear that's spreading through to everyone and it makes them take really stupid decision (aiming at you there Archie!!) .... The whole Red Circle thing is sooo MEH to me and despite understanding Archie's revenge thing, but I'm happy that his whole shit caught up to him and that maybe after throwing the gun and all that he's "reformed" that he's seen the error of his ways but come on... What the hell was he thinking running around the SouthSide spraypainting on the walls where SweetPea "casually" was there with his crew... And why! Why the hell would they think the murderer was from the SouthSide? Ok, there's gangs, baddies and drugs crawling on every feet of that town (?), district? why the hell would someone start going after them like now?!?!? I'm a bit annoyed at Veronica nowadays but I have to admire to sticking to Archie, defending him at all cost! Its very loyal I so get atht she might try to do anything to help archie since she's aware of what her dad did in all this! But going around with those white red circle tshirts? The lodges just creep the hell out of me and i'm still nonethewiser as to what the hell are they up to and who's the evilest of the two? Is Hermione playing Hiram? What are their freaking goals? I'm still onto the whole Hiram will run for mayor plot but we'll see what happens! HE must be rubbing his hands and laughing maniacally at all the turmoil that's happening "Dance puppet Dance!" Bughead is breaking my little bughead heart. Jughead I think is sorta beginning to feel helpless or way over his head with all the Serpents crap that's being thrown at him. He can't escape what's happening to him and when Toni came along in that scene and gently put her hand on his shoulder, I got the feeling that he sorta couldn't say no, out of fear of retaliation... The boy's scared and goddammit he's making poor decisions! Trying to been the "good" boyfriend by keeping Betty at bay for whatever noble reason... He's done this before and he's just continuing and like someone has already said, FP warned Archie about it... What makes it worse is seeing Betty going through this as well, she knows what she's up against when it comes to Toni, she didn't bother arguing about Jughead ignoring her call, she's trying hard to ignore the problems but she's struggling, she's cracking and i'm afraid she'll start to implode very soon, especially with the ending of the episode... It's sad to see. I just read somewhere that its speculating that BH might force Betty to break up with Jughead... Hopefully it's just a stupid rumour but it would make sense if he wants her for herself... I was a bit surprised by Toni's reaction.I don't know why she was hostile towards Betty (unless its the whole North/Southside thing), but I wonder if she's the type that doesn't like bullshit or pretending or whatever and likes to be upfront, maybe she can see through them and couldn't stand it... I'm still undecided about her. I hope that she's one of the better Serpents. (And here I thought from the promo pictures that Toni and KEvin would become unexpected friends lol). I'm still not convinced that they decided to jump on Jughead to make him a serpent... And why would they want to make him a serpent if he doesn't want to? I'm pretty sure there's plenty other kids that have more potential than him?!Is it only bc of FP? So far, I do not think that either Hal or Chic is the BH, it would be too expected and I have faith in TPTB that they have better ideas! I'm sorta feeling that the BH has some sort of ties with Mr.Blossoms "apparent suicide". As for the rest of the parents, I think Fred at the town meeting was the voice of reason, they should have listened to him, he is afterall the only survivor thus far.... And Alice, omg, her teary speech to Betty?!?! WTF! Betty shouldn't fall for those crocodile tears while that woman is responsible for half the misunderstandings lol (sorry, unresolved mommy issues here lol ) and Hal should say something!!! On a final note, getting a bit tired of Barchie! They can't have that much chemistry and shot scenes for the show to go towards Barchie, it would only present Archie iin a seriously bad light! I really hated that the whole Kevin thing got resolved quickly without a proper chat about it (huff, come on...).... As for Reggie 2.0, I thinks he's sleezy and a jerk, but a smooth jerk. He's not tyring to make things worse but still... never like Reggie in the comics lol...
  17. Hmm. Just getting a revelation here.... with the football team turning into a bunch of superheroes vigilantes, wouldn't that be a great way for Chuck to make an appearance? Sticking up for his guts while taking his revenge on betty? Arent there rumors he might make an appearancs? Great way to darken betty some more.... I'mnot understanding the Lodges at all. Dont know who if any are good guys... but hiram is evil as shat...
  18. I know! Melts your heart doesn't it!! He's taken over the "greatest parent" in riverdale right now! Sherif Keller gets a straight A in this episode.... Now if only he was a good sheriff!
  19. Star of the show : The fog!! Man, they are really are getting darker aren't they??!?! I'm glad that Moose and Midge made it, just couldn't see them killing off someone that's part of the comics... The whole KEvin thing, I don't know... I feel sorry for the guy, with his predicament and all but he should still have some common sense. Is he that down/heartbroken that he's willing to stupidly risk his life?? Betty tried to do what she could to help him, to save him but he probably wasn't willing to listen to it there and then... And annoying Cheryl butting in and splitting the two (hopefully she gets a better story than meddling into everyone's relationship).... I got scared when Kevin got "stabbed", I was like "no, they couldn't", relieved it was only a dream or wheatever... Gotta admit The Kellers seem to have a great relationship and I was relieved that the sheriff wasn't that angry towards Kevin (but then again, what can he do besides giving advice?). I'm quite happy the show gave KEvin a good storyline, with that I mean not just being the gayfriend with all the quirky snaps and comments, like to hear about his struggles about being the "only gay guy" in town and the whole gaycruising thing... With the riff between kevin and Betty, who tried to do good, I think Betty is going darker for each day... You could notice her little struggles last episode... Introducing Toni -- Hard to tell whether she's likeable after one episode... She seems alright, a reasonable Serpent... So far I like her! I don't see her enterfering with bughead (I think we would have seen some "sparks" already had there been some in these soapy drama worlds), but I think misunderstandings or interruptions or late nights "working at the newspaper" might bring a bit of tension and assumptions... Man, I swore at the beginning of the show I could see Archie going totally Bruce Wayne, cape crusader... He's going serious with this and as cheesy as the rest of the storyline is, its kinda cool... ITs taking off the edge of the whole music-thing he has/had going on. I'm kinda liking it although I could not help but just laugh at the ending with the whole Red Circle thing... I mean come on, hello Sherif! Hello Fred?! Stop him! Someone please stop him and put some sense into him!?!?!?! The lodges?!!? OMG ! ONe freaky family! I don't know who's most evil nowadays?!! They all seem to be screwing each other while wearing happy smiles... And Hiram, encouraging Archie to go cape crusader on the town?!! The hell!! He is so oozing evil that it makes no sense... My theory (if I take the comics into consideration) is he is going to try to create (indirectly mind you) a lot of chaos in Riverdale, revelling into this North/SouthSide rivalry and the black hood murderer and then he'll come out of no where and run for mayor or something like that, blaming McCoy and the Sherif for their lack of doing anything productive (or so it seems). He is going to step up somehow and not for the good, is he behind the murders? God I hope he isn't THAT evil.... And Hermione, I'm so not certain she's that evil at heart, that maybe she's just trying to protect herself and veronica to an extent. I was surprised Jughead actually bothered showing up at the Lodges and that he was civil, does he not know what FP + Hiram were up to? probably all the bad shit he made FP do... Didn't make sense to me but... Poor jughead!! I felt sorry for him but goddamn it think about it, boy! Did he really think he could have stayed hidden in SSHS and come out unscathed?!!? Does he not know that he's going in the worst high school in the entire US lol?!?!? I just don't get that type of school though, you'd think there was a freaking wall built between the North Side and the South Side? Is there some sort of tunnel in that town that leads the south side to some underprivileged place in NYC/LA or whatever... And Bughead -- You know, I think they are going to be -that- couple- that you see on all those tv shows, the ones that should really be together and you see the tension and the innuendos but then they just get interrupted all the freaking time and then something happens (tteribble secret, cheating, old boyfriend or girlfdriend shows up) and in the end they never happen... REally show!!! Work a different angle than that, it really is annoygin for us bughead fans!!! Sad to see Polly go but what more could they do with her character... And now that CHic is coming, Alice will have the best opportunity to transfer her mothery-feelings towards Chic since Polly's gone... And what is it with all these 180s??? Where are the "friends" that jughead had made last season? Did they just disappear? I'm surprised they're already going for a NorthSide vs SouthSide thing next week. Didn't think they'd go about it so quickly!! probably has to do with jingle jangle... Not looking forward to it... Great episode though...
  20. Not sure where to put this but this week's synopsis talks of jughead's first day at south side high.. emm.... hasn't he had one already in episode 13? Or is it meant to be a flashback? Or is it suddenly a little screw up in the timeline? ?
  21. Hey.... I was freaking shocked when he shot at them... I thought it was Reggie playing a prank on them ( and for some reason I thought he was going to tag along in their rump-session tbh). They can't kill off every support character can they?
  22. Having driven around new England and near/across the Canadian border, there are several rivers and lakes that cross both countries, it's easy to suggest that the city is around upstate New York and New England as others have already written. My geography not being what it used to be, sweet water river might spew out onto the Hudson or Connecticut River... What strikes me as odd is that people will think it's just a piece of cake crossing the border through waterway undetected lol... Can understand why they would pick Montreal as the centre point of drug trade or escape route, it's the biggest city around there and barely 1 hrs drive from the border...and it's a pretty nice place tbh? Shouldn't they be mentioning Boston a little more instead? ??
  23. OMG!!! Moose and Midge got shot!!! Here I was happy to finally see them and be part of the whole gang and they got shot!!! What?!?!!? I literally was screaming !!! I knew RAS was planning something wicked but I certainly did not expect this!!! Weird episode in general, really good, but weird!!! I'm sorta siding with Archie right now, he knows people think he's crazy (yes, yes, partially PTSD I know) but he's on to something... And now he's getting a freaking gun?!?! Really ARchie?!?! Is it me or is Fred Andrews sorta taking the whole thing a bit too lightly?!? Sorta like "Ok son, calm down son, take it easy..."... And did the mom disappear? Reggie 2.0 --- Little bastard!!! Don't like him and he has bad boy written all over him... Selling drugs, playing pranks, hmmm.... Jughead --- Oh jughead, does he-not-know anything about the Serpents yet?? Why the sudden desperation to get his dad free at -all- cost?!?! Didn't he like hate his guts only a couple of weeks/months ago? Has he not watched noir movies before!! Bahhh.... From going anti Serpent to Pro-Serpent.... I just don't get it!! He's going at it way too blindly and he's digging himself a big freaking hole! And going to the Blossoms to ask for forgivness, what powers of persuasion does he think he has? Did he really expect to get that? I was just a bit wowed out by the whole thing, like, what the hell were you thinking? And pointing an accusatory finger at McCoy for not helping out? She's the one that's after the Serpents!!! She wouldn't give a damn if FP was executed!!! Bah... If he's going darker and further down the rabbit hole, I'm expecting he'll become the leader of the Serpents by the end of the season!!! The freaky phone call from FP sorta scared the shit out of me... I'm scared for him, whether he gets out or not, I don't think he'll live for very long unfortunately... Betty - She was fierce!!! Bring it on girl! A bit too extreme but fierce!! As much as I love her, I can't wait to see her go dark!! Melody-- got a line, yea!!! The Lodges -- whoa!!! Creepy AF!! Twisted, evil, just, plain evil!! bawhhh... Bughead -- like someone said a little earlier, enjoying their scenes together because it seems like it won't last for very long... and despite everything that's happening, they have such great chemistry, it's like they're just waiting for trailer part 2 to happen mwahahaah....
