  1. I'm new to the X-Men universe but have enjoyed the first two episodes. I really like the family aspect of the show- that gives newbies like me an easier way in. So far I like Lorna best out of the mutant group. I'm interested to see how the pregnancy angle plays out. Marcos didn't seem unhappy about it, but I want to see more of Lorna's feelings. It obviously complicates things and makes everything more dangerous. I can't imagine Lorna sitting around knitting booties, though. They're displaying everyone's powers in a cool way. I agree the rest of the mutants are a little bland so far. They need more character development. Marcos is certainly pretty to look at. His trip to the hospital with Mom was well done- you can see as Mom realizes the future her kids might be facing.
  2. Sexy Nostradamus is one character I've always missed. I don't even remember what happened to him! Did he just sail off and never return? It blew my mind recently when I read that the actor and Greer's actress have a baby together in real life.
  3. Lorna and Nicky seemed to be giving meds to those who came for them, so I'd imagine at least some inmates have been getting what they need. Probably those who are more stable/independent than Suzanne, though. Her whole routine has been thrown off, so we can be sure she hasn't gotten any. She's losing it quickly- notice how many times she's called other people "Grace"? I'm very nervous about this one. Caputo saying Linda was newly released from psych was LOLZ. What was she thinking, outing herself like that? He still wasn't in any position to help her even if he wanted to. She didn't seem to know Fig, who probably would've let Linda stay in prison regardless. This was definitely the show's "Halloween episode", in the storied tradition of holiday themed TV shows. I enjoyed it.
  4. Obviously a lot of history had to be skipped because of the cancellation. I just feel like they went about it in a really weird way. I wonder if they thought another network was going to pick them up at the last minute so they planned a regular season finale, then the hoped-for pickup didn't happen. I can't believe they HOPED to end the Mary/Catherine relationship with... nothing. The show seemed to appreciate that relationship.
  5. I definitely think they didn't know they were being canceled until very, very late in the game. I suspect all that 3some/witch/Claude nonsense was going "somewhere"...until they got canceled and shoehorned in Mary's execution. Still, I liked the execution and after-life scenes. I liked Bothwell as well, and I think this version of him would have been pretty good for Mary in the long run.
  6. I think the horrific behavior towards the guards is to be expected, really. Remember the Stanford prison study? People who suddenly have a lot of power, paired with the peer pressure and gang-like mentality tend to do terrible things. Add the fact that a lot of these women have such difficult backgrounds, criminal mindsets, etc. and it seems inevitable.
  7. I really want to see Darnley go up in flames, syph and all. Did the show really not know it was going to be canceled? That's all I can figure based on how they dragged their feet all season and are now having to rush to a conclusion. Surely they had more notice than this. Is Nicole based in any sort of history?
  8. I couldn't believe Alex and Piper let Linda deliver food to her boyfriend and then I realized they didn't know yet. Boy, we're getting a lot of penises this season, huh? Good 'ole Beer Can. Linda's fitting right in! Speaking of...Magic Mike went on too long, but the bouncing sock had me cracking up. I'm surprised we haven't seen much public reaction to the riot yet, but I'm guessing that's coming next episode with the helicopter photos. Was that Sophia's wife in the previous episode, outside with the guards from Max? Who else do we think will show up? Maybe Lorna's hubby, and surely Suzanne's parents.
  9. Suzanne's ex's eye is seriously disturbing. It looks like it's on a whole other part of her face. I laughed out loud when the nurse pointed out that Daya's gun was her finger. Way too many people suspect she doesn't have it anymore. I think Gloria has it. Why is the nurse still there? It's like he's in a bubble- no one is bothering him, and he didn't try to get out that we know of. Sophia has stepped right up to the Grey's Anatomy plate. Frieda's bunker has stretched my belief. A hidey hole, sure. A whole fully stocked room? She's been in prison a long time, though.
  10. Is it bad I was yelling "Go for it!" from my couch when Echo was trying to kill herself? That character does nothing for me, and I'm disappointed we'll be spending all that time in space with her.
  11. Jamal's joy over the Coucious reunion was out of character. Hakeem, sure. He wants that happy family fantasy. But Jamal? He's always been anti-Coucious. Andre's a snake, but his horror at realizing he had to stop the bomb was well-played.
  12. Mary kicking over Lord Ruthven's stool at his execution was a boss move.
  13. I want to go ahead and cast my vote now to float Echo once we get to space! These folks need to listen to Henry Ian Cusick more. He knows all about #hatchlife.
