Whew that was a long backstory (and sad)I'm not very hopeful for this week's poundpicipant.

I noticed this season many of the poundpicipants (pardon my spelling) live in TX, and I can't recall any supermarket scenes. Wonder if it's because of covid? (Limited amount of people allowed in the stores)

Alright Pounders!! I have a good feeling about this guy, we'll spoken, clean house and he sounds like he's had enough of being fat. But I'm optimistic every week. 🤞🤞

Somebody please give these ladies a copy of "Our Bodies, Ourselves". When I was growing up either you had your own copy or you read it at your friend's house. All the answers to the questions you felt uncomfortable asking your mother. Very helpful. And Julia, I can't think of any "drinking medicine" that is a form of birth control. And I'm not that much out of the loop.

As usual I'm rooting for this week's subject, I hope we FINALLY get a success story this season.

I need to say how annoyed I am at having to look at the ad for discovery + during the shows, first its on the top, then the bottom then I think I saw it in the middle the other night. Then all the commercials for it. They're so busy with that that I never see a preview for my600pl so I dobby know who's on until I get here. Ok, I'm done. 😆

Finally a human on the show. This woman is intelligent, articulate, wears shoes and a bra, has a clean house, I think she'll do this! Gosh, its been a while since we had a successful poundpicipant.

I just came here to say how disgusted I am with Shekeb's mom, what a bitter, vile woman. I wasn't even paying attention to the show but she caught my attention. He should have taken Emily AND the cake and left the minute she started saying hateful things at the birthday party. And him leaving her alone at the restaurant on Valentine's day speaks volumes about him, he could have at least taken her with him to that awful mother's house, or have her wait in the car. The mother didn't appear to need immediate attention. Did she get stuck with the bill?

Oh I watched it, too, I'll admit it. I watched it last night on demand, and sat through it again tonight. I have no life, lol. Actually it was on in the background while I did other things tonight. Rather uneventful episode. I'm just waiting for Kalani/Asuelo/Give me money in-laws drama. I've seen enough of Libby and Andreiii...another wedding? Please. Lets just cut to the chase and find out what the big mystery of why Andreeii went to Ireland, if there is any damming reason. Syngin and Tania, lets just get on with things, where is this even headed? Get a job Syngin, it's that simple. Is it me or is this season moving kinda slow?

I'm loving watching Asuelo's family money grab play out. Reminds me of my MIL (RIP). Her thing was, she got SS, disability check or welfare, I don't remember, and lived in housing so rent was cheap, but would pay the bare minimum of her bills, then blow the rest on lottery & scratch tickets. Hubby had to give her an allowance weekly ($30 plus any extra she asked for, and she would occasionally get extra from other relatives) which would be spent on more lottery, sending money to other relatives and her big claim to fame was that she gave to ST. Jude's children's' fund. It made her a saint. I don't know if she donated more that once, lol, maybe just once or twice. If she needed furniture, clothes, light bulbs, a ticket to see relatives that was hubby's responsibility. If hubby were to tell her no I don't know if she'd get angry and storm off like Asuelo's clan, maybe she'd just sulk (until she got what she wanted.) Ughhhhhhh. There I said it.

Is it just me or did they leave some things up in the air on the finale? But what about Alena and her mother? Did I miss something because I can't recall an "ending" to their story line. Also, the women from Chicago, all I remember is the son in law came in and said he quit his job. Unless I missed something, those two story lines ended abruptly? Now we have the Smothered Pillow talk. Sorry I made a mess above trying to use the spoiler feature.

omg, I tuned in late i though this was a repeat!! So glad it isn't!

If I don't see "this program contains actual surgical procedures " when this break ends I'm giving up hope.
