  1. I was really hoping Phillip would speak up with a cowboy accent. That would have made the episode great. As it was, it seemed to be a mildly disappointing episode. Very slow. Very few matters resolved. Stan and his partner approaching those two Russians was typical of this episode. They wanted to talk to two people but those people just walked away. That was not very interesting or very good TV. It reminded me of what happened to Gaad. I wish they would have provided some details to help the viewers feel like they were a part of things. Same goes for the Henry mystery. Couldn't they have provided some kind of detail more than just the usual, "Is Henry home?". "No, Henry's not home." Killing that research scientist doen'st really count as "something happening". I'm sorry. But the more I think about it, the less interesting this episode seems to have been. I would have been so much happier if they would have just fed us a few details. Like Mischa. That was pretty stupid for him to just take out all his money and hand it to that guy. We never found out what the result would be. This episode left me feeling frustrated. I would have really liked some more plot detail.
  2. I just did a very quick and cursory check. There appears to be possibly more than one hundred Hallmark productions. Yippee!
  3. Thank you very much for this recommendation. I just watched it and it was really poignant. I enjoyed it very much. Keri was great. She displayed a real range of her character. I'm going to have to find out more about Hallmark movies. I've heard of them in the past but always figured they would be too boring. I don't know how I ever got such a dumb idea. But thanks to you I will try to find some more of them. I really liked this one.
  4. I wonder how she would feel if the food situation got extremely desperate and they held a vote and decided that some Spanish food would be just ideal. I wonder. Is Sandra from Mexico. I surely wouldn't want to insult her by calling her Spanish if she was actually Latino or Chicano or some other name that is related to Spanish. I've never liked her and would never cotton to killing her unless it was for some desperate need to survive. Somehow, I'm guessing that it just might be agin the rules. You think?
  5. If pushed hard enough, most anyone just might have it in them. Stan comes off as a very decent man. I don't think he has to be pushed all that hard. He is definitely not happy about that suit pushing him to put Oleg in harm's way. OMG! I feel so sad for this nation when people seem to think nothing about doing stuff like that. They deserve to get their just deserts and I'm not talking about Cherries Jubilee.
  6. I agree and think that many people might decide that being loyal to one's homeland means standing up against crazy plots - like introducing some bio disease on another country and killing untold numbers of peope. Do you think Oleg is disloyal to his homeland because he prevented some crazies from killing huge numbers of people with some horrible bio weapon? I think he is a patriot for doing that. Maybe even a "super" patriot? If your nation is doing something clearly wrong, terrible and miserable, is it treasonable to stand up and say, "NYET"? I don't think so. I think he is a hero. He also is very nice looking. Definitely some eye candy there.
  7. I won't be surprised if we never again see the Pastor or hear anything about him. He was never terribly popular among the fans and I wonder if the show runners just decided they had done all they could do with him and that things just didn't work out very well and there is no where else to go. Either that or maybe his agent decided he was worth a lot more money and started making demands? I don't really know. But I sure won't object if we never seen him again. Maybe the way fans react to a character or a story line will impact the show runners and maybe they will listen to what the fans have to say and just kill him off without any actual violence? I won't complain.
  8. Maybe that is why they are hiding him - until he dies in a freak high school basketball tragedy - involving Gene Hackman maybe?
  9. Does that lead to the conclusion that "putting a bullet in her brain" would be a kind of violation of orders? By the way, I got a very strong premonition that when Tuan talked about someone "putting a bullet in the brain" of that father, it would lead to someone putting a bullet in Tuan's brain. Karma just does not forgive.
  10. I've never seen that kind of training. Swinging one arm from side to side. How is that related to self defense? I sure don't get it.
  11. One thing to consider is that having a lady friend is good for our heroes because if "normal" Stan were to get close to the truth, he might well start something that could result in very big trouble. However, "hound dog" Stan's mind is preoccupied with the lovely Renee and thoughts of sexual rapture. He may well be unable to get close to the truth about Phillip and Elizabeth and never be able to pull the trigger. I hope Renee keeps him Stan fully occupied - no matter who she may work for. I seriously doubt it will turn out to be the USSR. It would seem to me to be ridiculous that she would be working Stan and no one would tell P&E. That would just be extremely awful. But, she could easily be an agent from some different player in the big leagues - like China or Britain or France. I'd love to see a French lady spy at work. Ooh. La. La! Tuan provides us with several good lessons. One of the best is that people can easily care intensely about their families and loved ones but hardly nothing at all about their politics or National origin. I'm guessing that Tuan would go to the ends of the earth to get revenge on the people who killed his family. He doesn't seem to care at all about the nature of Democracy vs. Communism or any other political abstracts. I'm thinking that for most people, if someone caused the death of their families, the wouldn't care very much who that person was or what political ideals they represent. That person would want their pound of flesh and wouldn't really care what their race or religion or creed or anything like that. That's just not important. I think it's an excellent lesson to learn when fighting terrorists. The thing that motivates terrorists is not a believe ins Suni vs Shinto or Shiite. It's way more personal than that. If a terrorist hunter keeps that in mind, I would guess they would have way more success than people who are looking for haters of democracy. It's not that complicated. It's far simpler than that. Far more primal. "You killed my family. Get ready for death. My name does not have to be Inigo Montoya".
  12. If you love Keri as much as many others do, I would like to suggest two of her films. I think you may enjoy them very much. Leaves of Grass stars Ed Norton and it is very much his film - more so than Keri's. She is very sweet in this film and if you like this sort of thing, we get to see quite a lot of her naked feet. I have a feeling the cinematographer had a foot fetish. So I guess your level of enjoyment with this film might depend on just how much you like Keri's naked feet. Some people find them much more erotic than do others. I would have preferred that they would have shown some other parts of her body instead of just her feet. But, her feet are awfully sweet. She doesn't have a very big part in this movie. But she portrays a very sweet girl next door and it's very easy to fall in love with her. Also, the film, "Waitress" depicts Keri as a very simple small town waitress. She is the main character in this film and she is very lovable as a waitress. This movie is good fun. If you have not seen these, I hope you will enjoy them.
  13. This is quite the mystery. I wonder if Keri could possibly be so vain as to realize that she only has a few more years available to show off her lovely body and she is the one making this happen? Somehow, I have difficulty believing that. But it really is a mystery. The shots of her naked body are clearly not integral to the plots. So why is this happening? If it's not coming from Keri, then who else would be pushing for this? I'd really like to know. From what I've heard and seen of her in public appearances, she just does not seem like the kind of lady who would have a need to flaunt her physical beauty. I would guess that she understands the relative value of her physical appearance vesus her abilities as an actor. Especially since she is now a mother, I would think she would not feel the need to display that kind of behavior. Usually, it's just youngsters who have not experienced very much of life who behave in that way. So, maybe there is some other reason for this? Could the network be trying to show off their star in order to increase ratings somehow? It sure doesn't seem like a sensible way to drive ratings because this show is not targeted to the kind of audience that would get excited over that kind of thing. I must be missing the point somehow. But, I still believe this is the best show on TV and it keeps on getting better all the time.
