I'm sorry, but I don't see Melissa as a mastermind manipulator of anything. I can't help but notice how Jen and Melissa seem to get along when Teresa's otherwise engaged, so if that's the storyline, they've all played their parts, hoping the show continues.

I also see the same thing, except it also happens when Margaret is within earshot or involved.  Then, it seems like Melissa backs off from Jennifer.

This fancy-ass Miraval Resort is where Rachel was rumored to be staying, which her rep denied. But it turned out that’s where Tom went? Were they both there? Is he “taking the heat” for her—or rather she took the heat first but I was really him there? But I don’t think he would be stupid enough to put himself being there if she was really there too. The post he’s referring to was cryptic enough—and could just be cashing in on the rumors that Rachel was there instead of a real mental health facility.

Tom Sandoval blasts wellness resort for outing his stay: 'Tried to find peace'
"They'd rather feed into the negativity and spectacle that has engulfed my life," Sandoval wrote on his Instagram Story of Miraval Arizona.

    Read in Page Six: https://apple.news/AOM4ZwxANQCeqZ2GKb9DAKA

Miraval was visited by the New Jersey Housewives and their husbands several seasons ago, as well as the cast of Real Housewives of Orange County, so of course, they would be perfetly fine with leaking information about Sandoval, another D-list Bravolebrity (who is making A-list headlies) staying there.  Other individual Real Housewives have also stayed there, including Sonja Morgan (when recovering from plastic surgery), Carole Radziwill and Heather Thompson.

Miraval is not a mental health care facility.  It is a zen spa-like upscale resort with some interesting programs for "spiritual healing" - equine therapy, crystal readings, astrology and even some kind of healing through bee-keeping.

    From Miraval's website:

"From beekeepers to tarot card readers to artists and chefs, our skilled specialists illuminate a path to a better you. They listen closely and guide you on a custom journey that breaks down barriers and invites your best self to shine."

I don't know if Raquel is also there, but I was wondering if this is where she was or they were headed when the paps caught the recent photos of Tom and Raquel at the airport (after she supposedly spent the night at his house).

Not everything but ALOT is. Most of these people don’t lead the most exciting lives to begin with…just boring suburban stuff.

This is actually how Real Houswives first started, with Real Housewives of Orange County.  The show was more documentary style, showing the lives of women who lived "behind the gates" of an upscale community (Coto de Caza).  It was created and produced by Scott Dunlap, who also lived there and was amazed at what he observed and lifestyle of these overly indulgent, bored housewives and their familes.  I thought it was great, just the way it was, and loved that they added NJ and NY soon after the first season of RHOC was aired on Bravo, because the lifestyles of these women were all so different.  It was actually nice seeing the NJ women doing normal things, albeit, in big homes and often, in an over the top way, but that's what made it interesting.  Whatever we may think, there are a lot of women all over the country just like the ones we watch on Real Housewives.  Even though they live in large homes, drive fancy cars, wear designer clothes and are well off, they do normal, everyday things like cooking, running errands, going to the gym, out to lunch/dinner, etc.  They have conflicts with their friends, they gossip, argue and sometimes drink too much.  THAT is what I would really like to see, instead of the seemingly production set ups over and over again.  Show me split stories of Teresa and Melissa making "Sunday gravy/sauce".  Show me Dolores dealing with not having the shoes she needs at her house because she left them at Paul's.  Show me Marge and Jen Fessler sitting, drinking coffee and gossiping all day in Marge's "Alice in Wonderland" themed crazy house.  Show me the differences in parenting styles between Rachel Fuda and Danielle Cabral.  Everyday life is so much more interesting, at least in my opinion.

Once Bravo figured out that the Housewives franchises were great for TV (and the Bravo network), they kept adding more cities, but by that time, I think the drama was more producer driven and the women they hired all were very camera savvy and more camera ready, with professional hair/makeup all the time and being willing to get down and dirty to become famous.

I watch now because it's just like a soap opera - you may not like the characters, but you want to see them either get their comeuppance or redemption, but I LOVED the original format without the producer driven drama.

Is it wrong of me to actually feel just a teeny, tiny bit sad for Rachel?

I feel like she wanted fame and celebrity so badly (given all the backstory on how she finagled and wrangled her way onto the show), that she let it all consume her and now, this happens.

Clearly, her thirst for fame caused Rachel to make A LOT of poor decisions, starting with hooking up with James and ending with being one of the most hated reality celebs ever.

It's a shame.  I hope her parents work with her, and get her as far out of Los Angeles as possible, for the rest of her life.

Did he cheat on Ariana with Miami girl? I don't recall that.

I think it's because we thought of Raquel as a kind, if extremely dim, person, and Ariana (who wasn't friends with Kristen) a kind, if sometimes smug person, who opened her home and heart to Raquel when she was dealing with the heartbreak of her broken engagement to James. Sleeping with Tom, who we all know is a sleazy, ego maniac, was a massively stupid and cruel offense against girl code.

And she dared to go mad over and continuing to express outrage over the James/Lala hookup and calling Lala names, all the while doing this? I don't think it was cool at all for James and Lala to hookup but don't really care because they were not friends and It was still very early in the relationship--not that it makes it okay.

Kristen and Stassi were so fucking toxic that nobody cared if they got hurt or hurt each other.

I think that Sandoval vehemently denied sleeping with Miami Girl....at first.  When Kristen was on her own Sandoval revenge crazy train, she somehow convinced Miami Girl to come to SUR and confront him.  Sandoval ran away from the confrontation (and his bartender shift) like a frightened child.  Kristen was standing by, gleefully waiting with open arms, for Ariana to break up with Sandoval and he would come running to her.  Didn't happen.

My opinion is that he totally slept with her, but I don't remember if he ever finally admitted it, but Jax confirmed it and I think Scwartz basically admitted it, too - by not denying it.

I think Sandoval's team leaked it since it came out around the same time as his "big" interview.

It has a "See, I'm not so bad, we all cheated with her" vibe.

Which is an extremely stupid strategy, more evidence against Sandoval.....

Seriously - Tom Sandoval has a "team"??  He really is a legend in his own mind.

What does this guy make in income and what is his net worth afte paying everyone?

Hopefully, Ariana and Sandoval didn't mix incomes and savings, as I think she's a little smarter and wiser in all things.

While I could totally see Brock hooking up with Rachel, I can also totally see Scheana and Brock leaking this so-called story to give them a little attention boost.  Scheana needs to be relevant, even in the throes of someone else's life drama.

I agree with the premise that Brock and Scheana's marriage will be over before everyone has paid off their credit card bills for attending that destination wedding.  Scheana and LaLa can be happy neighbors in Palm Springs, raising their girls together as single Moms (that is - until they have a fight, which will inevitably happen).

I wonder if this is the same "Melissa was making out (etc) with a guy in the back of a car" rumor from many seasons ago -around the same time as the "Melissa was a stripper" rumor, or is this a different guy?

Is Marge, by any chance, friends with Kim D? She had dirt on everyone too

I was wondering the same thing, but based on what Melissa said last night on WWHL, it is the same rumor.  If not, Melissa certainly has a penchant for backseats!!  If it is the same rumor, then Marge needs to update her arsenal - this shit all came to light before she was on the show and I think it's past expiration date.

Love that comment about Marge and Kim D - totally would not surprise me if that is where Marge may be getting a lot of her information.

I'm so glad I don't live in that part of NJ any more - what a hotbed of unsubstantiated rumors, gossip and innuendo!!  I'll take my laidback, relaxed beach vibe part of NJ over that any day!

Melissa was adamant about not being in the wedding, her and Joe don't end up going - and something tells me that by this point in the timeline, the Gorgas had already made the decision not to go... so shut the fuck up about it, already!

Her and Joe really do rely on Teresa for a storyline. If they're not complaining about something to do with her, then they have nothing. Get a hobby!

And FWIW, as Joe's wife, Melissa is a family obligation to Teresa. All direct in-laws are. It is no different when Melissa, or was it one of Melissa's sisters?, said that Teresa was invited to the christening way back when on a technicality (or whatever word was used). A sibling's spouse gets the invite whether we like it or not. But they tried to make it an issue.

Let's talk about all the dirt Margaret has on everyone! Why is no one confronting her about digging up dirt on the girls? Why has no one brought up that she told Laura about Melissa allegedly making out with another guy? There is actual real tea hanging over their heads for Housewives drama, but instead we're beating the Teresa vs Gorgas horse to death.

I agree with you, completely.  I think that if there was a way that Teresa could have invited Joe without Melissa, she would have.  But, as they say - you can choose your friends, but not your family - and that, unfortunately in some cases, includes immediate in-laws.  However, the whole Melissa's Mom and sisters being invited - that would totally be an obligation invite.

As far as Margaret- I HOPE, HOPE, HOPE that someone calls her out on this shit once someone spills the beans that Margaret was holding onto that bit of old gossip about Melissa.  Margaret, and only Margaret, should be held accountable.  I've always believed that she does have an "arsenal" of dirt on everyone, and drops these little gossip bombs when and where she needs to.

Unfortunately, I think that Margaret will get another pass from some of the ladies.

At least, for now, Teresa isn't the one who is caught up in the middle of the gossip repeating drama.

  10. Jen Aydin did Teresa no favors by chiming in on the conversation (yet again) about Teresa's wedding and the Gorga family drama.  You know somehow or another, in the game of Housewife telephone, that Joe Gorga is going to hear that his sister only invited them because it was an "obligation", (Although, not a "technicality", as Melissa's sister told Teresa regarding her invitation to the christening back in Season 3) even though Teresa didn't say that and actually said that was wrong.

Jen Fessler is like a friggin' dog with a bone about Teresa's wedding.  I actually had some small hope that Melissa and Teresa would get along on this trip, and maybe if these other people didn't continually stir up shit, they would have.  Give it up already, Jen Fessler - move on - but, please, NO MORE about your love life.  I don't need the gory details!  I do wonder if that James Gandolfini story is true or not.  The only other person who could confirm or deny is no longer with us.  If it is true, I am just a wee bit jealous!

I wonder if Teresa had someone come to her house while she was recovering from Covid to do a lip injection boost so that they would settle down a bit a couple of weeks time for her wedding.

I also had to laugh at all their dinner outfits.  Not one of them seemed to match the others in style and/or "dress code" appopriateness.  Teresa looked like a Swan Lake ballerina and the rest of them went from somewhat dressy to super casual.  I also noticed Dolores' red-soled Louboutins when she just had a conversation with Paul's sister-in-law about NOT wearing super high heels because of all the cobblestone streets in Dublin.

I HATE that these women feel the need to try to fit in with stupid phrases that are supposedly common wherever they travel to.  And, they all try to mimic whatever is the local accent and fail miserably.  They just prove themselves to be ignorant tourists and the locals are either cringing or laughing at them behind their backs.  I think they would probably get offended if someone from another country walked up to them in New Jersey and started shouting "Fuhgeddaboutit, youse guys" and asked if they are all involved with organized crime because they are NJ Italians.

I remember Melissa showing her complete and utter ignorance of even her own heritage when they were in Italy several seasons ago and she screamed to a lady "Buona sera, senorita" - first, it was the daytime, and second, "senorita" is Spanish.

I wish they would all just be who they are, women from New Jersey who are not very well traveled.  Just admit that to local folks and they will usually embrace you.

There was a way he could’ve gone about this where he could’ve maybe looked a bit better to some ppl but whatever he’s doing is embarrassing.

That's exactly what I mean.  He could have shown a little humility, a little remorse - use a little bit of good judgment and a little bit of empathy while speaking about all of this.  Or - not speak about it at all.

That's where the narcissism and egoism comes into play.  He just doesn't see beyond his own self.  He's sooo fucking intent at looking at the mirror and only seeing himself, rather than the shadow of anyone else standing next to/behind him.

Of course, he's gong to answer questions, but he doesn't need to go into bombastic details.  There are better ways to describe the situation.

He's turning into another James - each person he is with at this minute is "the biggest love of all loves of my life" kind of bullshit.

What a narcissistic, egotistical scumbag to go on a podcast describing how "magnetic" or "magical" or whatever the fuck he said about a kiss with someone other than his at the time live-in partner.

I have never, ever liked Sandoval but he's sinking to even lower lows than I thought imaginable.

I feel sorry for the judges, having to rave about everything that all four couples did, when a lot of it is ugly.

I agree.  Seeing the houses all completed and not space by space, there was A LOT in each of those homes that I did not like at all!!

And, I didn't catch the floorplan for the homes in the beginning of the episode, but is there only ONE bedroom in these houses?

I hope we hear more about it in the reunion, but the pizza oven business existed, it was not a story line. Teresa was going to name it Skinny Italian, per her brand, and because she is the "bigger" name. The ovens were purchased with Louie's money, and there was a photoshoot with Teresa and her daughters (photo, Teresa's cookbook is visible, as well). It seems that Joe Gorga stole himself the idea from a restaurant/pizza store (Columbia Inn Pizza), Louie trusted him because he was family, and he eventually offered him 10% of the business after he found out that it was not his idea. Teresa and him rebranded the business (as Skinny Italian), but there was a trademark issue, they couldn't sell the pizza ovens, and they offered them to charity. So, that's how Louie lost his money. It's a fact that Gorga didn't claim he invested any money, and Melissa said that Teresa is selfish and doesn't want to share (the wealth) on the show.

That's pretty interesting, but that photo of Teresa and the girls looks "off" for some reason.  There's a weird grey area in between Gabriela and Gia.

Either way, I still think that somehow, Joe Gorga screwed over Louis and Teresa in this business deal.  Personally, I wouldn't trust Joe Gorga with any type of business - he's had so many failed ones - either because he never followed through or was too stupid to understand the intricacies and legalities of said business.

I wouldn't give him 25 cents, let alone thousands of dollars.

And, I can totally see how something like this could be the final breaking point for Joe and Teresa.  Didn't their father stop speaking to Kathy and Rose's Mom (his sister-?) and Dad over some small loan of a couple hundred buck for a business?

This could be the reason why Paul doesn't seem to want to do too much group filming.  Obviously, he's seen the show, so maybe he doesn't want to associate with these aged-out frat boys while they are pouring alcohol straight from the bottle down each other's throats, drinking out of fake penis straws, constantly talking about sex (that they probably are NOT getting) and just acting like immature fools.  Paul has what seems to be a legitimate high-end business and maybe he's being a smart businessman and  doesn't want to jeopardize that.

Or, maybe he simply doesn't like, or want to kiss the feet of, the apparent insipid leader of the pack, Joe Gorga.

For what it's worth, I think Paul is making a good decision.

I've heard more than one designer say hot tubs don't add value to a home. That may be why no one has added one.

I thought Page and her partner would win. I liked the outside of her house the best.

Liked Michel and Anthony's house... but that outdoor movie screen looked so low budget... so did the rock climbing wall.

Bocce Ball and Parkour activities are bad ideas. Loved the chess board in the lawn.

I liked Page and Mitch's house, too.

I kind of liked Michel and Anthony's, but was disappointed that they chose not to include a grill or outdoor kitchen area and they didn't get dinged for that.  Plus, that double faced fireplace was just way too tall.  (Although, if there will be more homes built behind these houses, that may become a blessing and design advantage.)

I didn't like much of the Baumler's, but I don't know if it's because I don't really them, or I'm just not into the "hotel as a home" design aesthetic.

The movie screen/pergola/climbing wall was just okay, how much use would you really get from the movie screen?  The weather must get fairly cold in the late fall/winter/early spring, so even if you had the firepit going, you'd still be cold out there watching a movie.  Plus, if this is going to be an development with an HOA, the HOA may have restrictions on that.  Also, I didn't notice any soft landing/safety ground cover on the side with the climbing holds.  That didn't appeal to me, as it was a safety hazard.

I was surprised that none of the teams mounted an outdoor TV in the covered patio area of their homes, which would be more useable and more cost effective than that retractable theatre-style screen.

I also loved the chess board - you could purchase large checker pieces so that those that don't play chess or younger children could also play.

The parkour thing just looked like a lawsuit waiting to happen - I wouldn't have given the Baumler's the win just for that alone.  Although, I feel like this show likes to make a basically "even" playing field going into the finale, so it was their week to win.

I agree about the outside appearance - I wouldn't want to buy a big black house.

It would be more interesting at this point to focus on how much money each team has left.   They mentioned it for a few, but not for all.  I suspect that those with more money may pull off a hot tub for the final episode.

At least they're not decorating with trash.

I really dislike black or charcoal grey exterior finishes, but expecially black.  It just looks so dreary and not welcoming.  There's so much natural beauty in that area - to just put a big black box in the middle of it is distracting - even with the small area of contrasting wood/stone.

I do wonder if any of them will have any money remaining.  At this point, they all seem to have low remaining budgets to do the rest of house, unless they are only going to pick one or two rooms.  Although, if they are doing everything through Wayfair and they are going to put together a couple of kids/guest bedrooms, they can use lower-end furnishings, linens and accessories and it won't eat into their remaining budgets too much.

Yes, when they announced the wedding would be filmed, that's when Dina bowed out. It's like she & Dolores alternated events. Dina hosted the engagement party and Dolores did not attend.  Then Dolores was in the wedding, sort of in Dina's place.  After the decision was made to film the wedding is also when Teresa started inviting the Bravo people and expanded the guest list.

Another text message leak, this one from a couple days before the coffee reading. Gee, I wonder what caused Melissa's sudden change of heart, could it have anything to do with the wedding now being filmed?

Finally, Joe Gorga can't even lie well, it's Dave Cantin, not David, which he'd know if they were truly "friendly" Dina & Teresa have already confirmed they're still friends, back when the Gorgas started this falling out rumor last Fall.

    photo-output-697x1200.webp

    photo-output-2-1.webp

I'm not so sure about the validity of these text messages.  Why would Teresa (supposedly that's her response, correct?) be listed in Melissa's phone as "Mi Amore Amore"?  So many questions about this.  First, "Mi Amore Amore" translates to "My Love Love" - makes no sense grammatically and makes absolutely NO sense that Melissa would have Tre listed as that in her phone,  considering that there has NEVER been any love at all, let alone a double love, between Mel and Tre. I can understand Melissa possibly giving Teresa some kind of code name on her phone, but why, when she doesn't do it for other housewives (we've seen their names come across her phone when showing incoming calls.

Second, this text is really just too well written to have come from Teresa.  I just can't see Teresa, who can barely string two coherent sentences together when she speaks, transcribing this very eloquent and mostly correctly written text message.

I just don't know if this is a fake story or not.
