  1. I'm agreeing with Javablue so far. I think it's entirely possible that Red killed her family, maybe even without knowing she was there, felt a connection to her due to the daughter he lost himself, and decided to take care of her. That doesn't mean that I think Tom Keen was a 'good guy' though - I think it would be too easy to think that. Lizzy is obviously the pawn here - but in what game is the question.
  2. I don't think he's her father - I'm going to hang my hat on the fact that he said he had never lied to her. Additionally, we've seen how loyal Red can be to those that he truly cares about in the form of those that he keeps closest to him, so I think there's something much greater going on here. At least, I hope so. They could always play the card that he never did lie because he never really had a chance to BE her father, but that doesn't fit because he is visiting places and mourning his family in a way that doesn't seem connected to Lizzy.
  3. Josh Radnor was on the WTF podcast with Marc Maron and I thought his interview was really interesting! Marc had only seen like three episodes of HIMYM, so the interview was about the show and the success of the show vs specifics, but also a lot about Josh's process and his acting history and studies. The comments Josh makes when Marc asks about if the fans will be satisfied with the finale are really, really telling IMO. Episode 484. http://www.wtfpod.com/podcast
  4. Ick. Just ick. I tuned out of the show after the writers messed up Barney/Robin 1.0 and made Barney into a cartoon character vs a character with appropriate growth and depth. Had to tune in for the finale, mainly out of curiosity, and REALLY? I mean, if that's what the writers had planned for the finale of the show, as determined by the children being filmed when they were well...children...then that just sucks. SUCKS. I'm glad I didn't tune in this season or the few season's past - I have a feeling after the bit I saw of the actual Mother tonight that I would've enjoyed the hell outta her and been even more pissed off. Also, what a waste of everything but the last 10 minutes...really? Why not make the last 10 minutes the whole freakin' season and make some feelings count? Ugh. Marshmellow and Lilypad, at least you ended up exactly how I predicted.
  5. I'm interested to see how the acting goes down...I somehow simply don't believe that Lizzy can con the con she's been married to.
