Everyone is A! The Spoiler Thread

Did they just spoil who killed Charlotte in the promo pics for 7x19? Or is this getting too obvious to be the actual answer? http://www.eonline.com/news/861162/wait-does-this-pretty-little-liars-first-look-reveal-who-a-d-is -

I was really confused by that too, I remember seeing that picture he posted. I'm thinking maybe he is actually going to appear in 7x19 or 7x20 but couldn't come in to film on those days, so he filmed his scenes early. -

You know I'm actually not too sure about that. It seems like the most likely answer, but putting myself in Marlene's shoes and how much she panders to the shippers, would she really do that? Ezria, Haleb, and Emison have had plenty of too much screen time this season, but aside from the hookup the other night, we haven't seen one bit of Spoby since 7x10. If a rational person was running this show I would assume that that's because Spencer and Toby are done for good and are never getting back together, but this is Marlene we're talking about. She's petrified of letting down and depriving any of her precious twitter clan. I feel like the fact that Spoby hasn't been together in so long - which is obviously making shippers angry - leads me more to the belief that they're going to be endgame after the year long time jump, so the shippers can be satisfied in some regard. I'm confident at this point that Ezria and Haleb will be endgame. Not so sure about the other two - until this episode I'd say Emison is almost a guarantee, but then Ali seemed back to her shady, selfish ways this episode with the strange burner phone incident and not promising to back up the others, so I'm not so sure what she's up to anymore. -
Yes! I was ready for that too. And same thing when they were first talking in the woods, and Ali said something about no longer wanting to escape Rosewood. I was totally expecting her to admit that she didn't want to run away with the baby because they is no baby anymore.
-
I'm good with anyone being A if Alison is A along with them. As far as Emison I'm still suspicious of that "fall" in the school a few weeks ago. They brought it up again in the previously and I was waiting all episode for Alison's big reveal that she miscarried. Why would they remind us of that stupid scene otherwise?
-
Well the whole reason they got the burner phones in the first place was so they could still communicate with each other, so I assume they all exchanged numbers and at some point Aria was informed. The police had nothing to do with the burner phones so I'm not sure how that's possible or when that would've happened?
-
I think the same! How else would Tanner know her burner phone number? And why would Ali even answer the phone in the middle of such an intense, emotional confrontation? It totally felt like she was waiting for that call and knew exactly who it was going to be, and why Tanner only called Alison instead of all of them. It would explain why she didn't swear to stick by them at the end of the episode as well. I'm also wondering if this will link in to the Liars' attitudes toward Ali in that flash-forward scene that we're getting next week. I still feel like it's going to turn out to be a dream, but if it's real, maybe the girls find out that Ali went behind their backs and that's why they're so aggressive and annoyed with her when they burst into her classroom.
-
I also noticed that Alison was the only one not to swear to have the others' backs regardless of what happened the next day. And how did Tanner have her phone number for the burner phone she'd just gotten that day?
-
I was so on board with this episode for the first thirty minutes...and then they had to go and ruin it. If there's one single shipping scene next week after what we got tonight, I'm going to lose it. I can't wait to skip right over that god-awful romance montage when I rewatch. I absolutely called Aria going to confess to Archer's murder to win her friends back. But I'm sure by next week they'll all be totally over it and back to being besties with her. Ugh, these girls. Aria is such a selfish bitch and I'd like for both her and Ali to disappear off the face of the earth. Ezra can go too. Major, major Twincer vibes in that sex scene with Toby. It was almost like she was trying to seduce him, and after she was so dismissive in their earlier scene, it just felt so...unnatural. I'm not sure what to make of the apparent gunshot scar on her chest though. It could be a sign that this really is Spencer, but it just as easily could be the twin going all-out to pretend to be her. A little less convinced now than I was at the end of the last episode that Mona isn't A.D. That last scene was pretty weird and definitely made me pause. But I'm still leaning toward her just being sucked back into the game, like she warned Hanna would happen. And maybe being Charlotte's killer too, although I really don't want that. Why do they have to keep making her so shady, can she just be on their side for good now? Jesus. I'm still very suspicious of Ali. I caught A.D.'s use of "wait for it" while on the phone with Aria and we all know whose iconic line that is. There were some other little things about her that made me think as well. And I still feel like they showed us that clip of her "falling" in the previously for a reason.
-
True, that's definitely odd. But that little clip in the promo after "a Liar's wedding" shows the more feminine looking hand with the ring on the right hand as well. Now that doesn't necessarily mean that that clip is from the wedding, but that's the assumption I made based off of the promo.
-
We can see that Hanna has on a gold ring, so I guess this confirms that those are Haleb's hands in the promo...?
-
I'm betting Haleb as far as the rings. They didn't actually use real rings in the tent, just paper ones from the cigars, so I can't imagine they're going to keep those on for much longer. And since we're already getting one wedding in the finale it makes sense that they would just run off now and elope or something. But the thought of it being Emison makes me want to puke, so maybe I'm just not even letting myself go there.

S07.E17: Driving Miss Crazy

Oh, and I forgot to mention how much Emily annoyed me in this episode. Her whole attitude in that scene with the doctor (Dr. Hammond?) was so dismissive and uninterested. This is the man who used her eggs to impregnate Ali, and she couldn't seem to care less until Mona said something about Alison Rollins, and then suddenly "IT'S ALISON DILAURENTIS." I was hoping she would tone down the Ali obsession now that they're actually together, but nope, it seems like it's worse than ever. -

If anything that scene should have made it obvious that that's exactly what's not going to happen. -

Well...that was a wild ride. Poor Veronica. I feel worse for her than I have for any of these characters in a long time. I really hope she doesn't end up giving up the position she worked so hard for just because of her family's dumb drama. She didn't ask for any of this. :'( Mona and Emily were fantastic, but I wish we'd seen more of them. Along the same lines, way too much Ezria in this one. It basically ruined what was actually a great episode, imo. They are just so fucking boring. Why do the writers think we want to see this crap? Did not miss Alison whatsoever. Her absence really reminds me of how much she brings the show down for me. The Mary, Peter, and Jessica flashback was gold. Sorry, I just love seeing Andrea Parker playing both parts in one scene. I'm still very torn on Mary...do I trust her? Do I not? I'm going with untrustworthy, but I still feel for her somehow, and I don't think I should. I'm glad Spencer decided to stay with Veronica and Peter, though. I would have felt even worse for Veronica otherwise. The musical sequence was...not what I expected. Good singing (of course), but I think I would have liked it better if it hadn't been in black and white, and if they'd calmed down with the special effects. I could barely see what was going on. Veronica's line to Aria was savage as hell, though, and made it all worth it. Okay, so Mona isn't A.D. I think we're going to learn very soon that she's being forced into the same role as Aria - hence the shovels. And she obviously knows what Aria's up to. Looks like that all comes to a head next week. Overall I think this might be my favorite of the season - unpopular opinion? Maybe in my rewatch I'll just skip over all the Ezzzzria BS, but aside from that I felt like it was pretty jam-packed. Oh, and the Haleb proposal. Three words: Do not care. -

Really? You don't see a double standard? Uh, Ezra kind of knowingly entered into a sexual relationship with a sixteen year old girl and stalked her throughout their relationship so he could write a book about her dead friend (who he was also in a relationship with). Toby joined the A team, locked his girlfriend in a steam shower (Mona and CeCe were both accounted for at the time of that scene), then proceeded to fake his own death and watch for weeks on end as she broke down until she ended up in a mental institution. I'm not excusing Mona's crimes, but why should she be ostracized and treated like dirt while characters like these are allowed to move forward totally unhindered by their pasts? And last I checked, neither Toby nor Ezra were diagnosed with severe mental disorders, either. I don't know how on earth you can say that there are no double standards. But maybe this is a conversation best moved to the "Characters and Relationships" thread? -

I remember her apologizing very sincerely at least two separate times for that incident. And keep in mind that when people are going through psychotic breaks, they are acting completely outside of their rational mind. I hate how Mona's still held accountable for her actions of the first two seasons while characters like Alison, Toby, and Ezra have all gotten passes. The double standards on this show are incredible. -
S07.E16: The Glove That Rocks the Cradle

I am beginning to think that not only might Ali be faking this pregnancy, but she's planning on faking a miscarriage as well. That scene of her being totally indifferent toward taking the prenatal vitamins was really out-of-place and bizarre, and then her story (which seemed like an obvious lie to me) that someone pushed her down the stairs...she's not in next week's episode and I wouldn't be surprised at all if she returns in 7x18 with the news that she "miscarried." -

That drives me crazy. Alison was horrible to her so-called friends, and has never owned up to it or apologized. She drove Hanna to an eating disorder, constantly taunted Emily's sexuality, tried to blame Spencer for the Jenna Thing, etc. etc. etc. I will forever hate the fact that Ali is considered their friend now and is totally in their elite little group, regardless of Mona or anyone else. She doesn't deserve their friendship and I hate that she's present for all of the "Liar bonding" moments now.- 77 replies

S07.E16: The Glove That Rocks the Cradle

Man, Ezzzzzria was back in full-force this episode. I can barely stay away during all of their scenes. Can Caleb dump water on all the copies of their book, too, so we can be done with this boring storyline? Emison continues to disgust me. Emily straight-up asks Ali why she basically led her on for so long, and Ali's answer is that she doesn't know?! Are they ever going to acknowledge the pain that Ali put Emily through for so many years? Why does this whole relationship depend on what Ali wants, how Ali feels? Ugh I hate them. I'm also 100% sure that Ali faked that fall in the school. No one saw her get pushed, we didn't see a shadow or hear footsteps running away or anything. And if Mona was the person Emily heard down at the other end of the hall, no one else was there. A.D. sure wasn't - that whole plan was to distract the girls so Aria could sneak into the nursery. As much as I enjoyed Spencer and Marco, it's so great to see a cop in this town who's actually competent and not totally corrupt. I feel so bad for him - looking at it from his perspective, I'm sure he thinks that she was faking her attraction to him the whole time just in case something like this happened and she could take advantage of her relationship with him to get her out of trouble. And her going and begging him to do just that certainly doesn't help. Mona was this episode's MVP once again. I cheered during her blow-up with Hanna. All she wants is to be part of this group and they treat her so badly. She's been so criminally underused this season that it's disgraceful - I'm hoping that now that her true feelings are out in the open, she'll play a bigger role in these next four episodes. Hanna annoyed me in the beginning of the episode, but it was nice to finally hear her acknowledge how badly she and Caleb hurt Spencer. Now it would be better if they'd say it to her instead of each other, but at least it's a start. -
Nope, that was an old quote from 2012, I believe? It was referring to the original A, Mona, not Charlotte or A.D.

Pretty Little Liars in the Media
marinaalexis replied to maraleia's topic in Pretty Little Liars [V]
I'm so pissed that it looks like They really could have gone out with a bang, made the ending something really memorable, but instead we're getting some happy ending love-fest? It's just so disappointing. -
That's still not confirmation or proof, though. All Emily says is that they explained the situation and the doctor took their blood. It doesn't sound like her pregnancy was reconfirmed or anything - and why would it be? Why would the doctor feel the need to do that? And of course Ali would be leaning toward terminating the pregnancy. She can't exactly have a baby if she's not actually pregnant. It's just odd that Emison hasn't gone anywhere until suddenly Ali is pregnant and needs Emily's support. I know it's a long-shot, but there are certainly a lot of weird things surrounding this pregnancy that would make a lot more sense if she's faking it.
-
I still think Ali just might be faking this pregnancy. Something just feels...weird. They could have shown us the pregnancy test she peed on in 7x10 and they didn't. They could have had Emily go with her to the doctor to have the pregnancy confirmed in 7x11 and they didn't. They could have shown us proof of the blood tests in 7x15 and they didn't. Three separate occasions that they easily could have provided proof beyond Ali's own words that she really is pregnant and they chose not to. Add to that her odd certainty prior to the blood test confirmation that Emily's eggs really were involved, and her insistence that Archer wasn't the one who performed the surgery while somehow being unaware who did (how did she know it wasn't him, then?), and it fits. And besides, who would do this? Is A.D. one of the deranged Emison twitter fans? Or is Ali just using this "pregnancy" to force Emily into a relationship with her? Because look, it's working.
