Late but was finally able to watch this ep tonight. And I am deeply disturbed to find out Pauline, my biggest hate watch, is back in my town. I hope I never see her or Dilly in the wild. ....But if I do y’all will be the first to know.

Something random that makes me sad about Destinee’s episode: I use Tivo with Comcast, so I don’t know if the episode descriptions come from Tivo, or they’re just the Comcast ones (I think it’s Comcast though)...anyways every single other M600PL episode has some kind of actual description, but Destinee’s is literally just “Destinee is profiled.” That’s it. I don’t know why. But it’s kinda jarring. Seems kind of unfair. Why doesn’t she get a description? Why is the the only one that doesn’t?

I’m at a convention this weekend so I’m at a hotel with a friend. They have TLC... I wasn’t going to watch the Supersized ep tonight, would catch it on my Tivo when I got home, but there was nothing else on so I subjected my friend to it. She screamed at the tv with me instead of playing on her tablet so yeah, Angie is really that bad. Good thing it ended at 10 because we’re on the “quiet floor” and quiet hours take effect at 10. Don’t think we could have kept quiet.

I think I figured it out, it seems to be the first unread post in the thread for you. If you catch up on a thread, exit, and go right back into the thread (which is now completely read) the gold box on the post it was on before will be gone. So that’s what I think it is.

Lol they’re not cheap, I built mine from a $250 kit (that I still had to spend over $100 on, on paint and tools I didn’t have to complete), or you can just spend $450 for a finished one. First of all, I said I'd do it! (photo) Anyways, I was NOT expecting that ending. That's really too too bad. 😞 Also I liked Gary at first but had to kind of side-eye him after he "threw" Kelly out (as she said). I know we don't know what all happened there, maybe she went a little crazy on everyone in the household. Just another reminder of how we're only shown a fraction of the reality.

I picked the wrong episode to catch up on some sewing. Unable to look at the screen much of the time, it sounds like I missed some serious visuals. I will have to watch this one again. Anyone know if they still do the Supersized episodes? I haven’t seen one since last year.

Haven’t read the live chat thread yet and I’m sure this was addresses a hundred times, but I just needed to get this out of my system: Keep your goddamn tongue in your mouth when you eat!! Holy damn!! Are you a xenomorph? Are you trying to push your little mouth out so you can snatch your food off your fork so you can gobble it down faster? I’ve seen other show patients stick their tongues out when they eat but I swear this lady does it the most! Its sickening! :( I’m sorry if that was mean, but it was soooo gross to watch.

I haven’t read the live chat thread and I’m sure this was commented on, but something that just staggered me both when I watched this one on the TLC app and then tonight was when Brianne was telling her story, and she gets to when she was about 500 pounds, and that was when her weight “started” to get out of control. STARTED?? D: I absolutely cannot get over anybody saying their weight STARTED to get out of control at FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS.

Only episode 2, Briana’s story. TLC Go apparently does preview eps of upcoming seasons, I saw a commercial for Dr Pimple Popper, whose new season starts soon too, saying one episode of that is also is available on TLC Go.

Episode 2 is available now on TLC Go and he’s in there, no sign of the other guy.

Yeah see I tuned in but it was halfway over so I wound up watching something else because I’d already missed all the good parts (don’t forget the tutorial on how to wipe your butt when you’re that big).

This makes me think about a family I met once. The two kids didn’t like candy, junk food, or fast food. They only drank water. The parents were soda drinkers, and ate junk food, kept it in the house. They were mystified about where their kids got their eating habits from (mind you they weren’t complaining!). I’ve also heard of parents whose kids loved junk food even though the parents didn’t keep it in the house, and never took them to fast food places. I’m not a parent. But unfortunately I don’t think nurture is always going to dictate how the kids want to eat, at least in the long run. Leading by example is probably the most influential thing a parent can do, but for good or bad, at the end of the day people choose how to live their own lives.

Sean was still in Houston at the end of the last episode. I recall him being from Cameron Park CA, a stone’s throw from my town of Sacramento. Where Pauline was from. Who’s also in this article. Freakin’ Pauline. But look at Amber! <3

It looked like the handle didn't work from the inside on the passenger front door, and had to be opened from the outside. And since I only ever saw them doing that from the inside by reaching through the open window of the door BEHIND them, I'm guessing the window of the front passenger side door didn't lower. Therefore my guess was, since Charlie was sitting in the front, and the window behind him was closed, he wasn't able to reach the window crank of the door behind him so he could reach out and open his own door. Lol sorry if I didn't explain it well, but that's why I think he couldn't open his own door.

This is a bit off topic but that reminds me, there is a hilarious animation on youtube based on when Gordon Ramsay met the crazy owners of Amy’s Baking Company, using the show audio (although the ending is fictional), and I wish they would do one of Schenee’s God speech, with reactions from Freddy and Dr Now. And then there can be an ending where she jumps out the window and God lets her fall.

I really really think that was just because of the sun hurting his eyes. He almost never goes outside after all.

I had foot surgery on the 1st. The pain medication wound up making me very sick (I didn’t have an actual allergic reaction so I couldn’t justify trying to get switched to something else, but I experienced every one of the known side effects). I couldn’t even sit up in bed, I had no choice but to stay horizontal or I got too dizzy and nauseous. I stopped taking it after a week but it took about five more days for the side effects to stop. So I was laying in bed constantly for more than a week and a half. IT SUCKED. And it wasn’t just boredom (nor was I sleeping, the pills wouldn’t let me and you can’t take sleep aids on top of those) - I was in pain from laying there. My back hurt CONSTANTLY and there was NO position where I could be comfortable. It HURTS to stay in bed all the time! Its not just being obese that’s causing these people pain, its laying around all the time, I guarantee it. Our bodies just can’t take it.
