  1. Forget giving the Colt up. Shoot him with it. I was wondering which one she meant, also. Maybe she wasn't being specific, but just meant that one of them may have died. I hope she wasn't Cas her son. That would be weird.
  2. Speaking of Michael, is Lucifer in the fake cage that Rowena made to bring him out, or is he in the real cage? If he's in the real cage, why/how would Crowley move that to his throne room, and why wouldn't Michael be in it too? If it's the fake cage, how did that happen? Wasn't the spell supposed to put him back in the actual cage, or did they not actually say that, was it just supposed to send him to hell? And, if Crowley had access to Lucifer, if I were him I wouldn't have broken the spear to save Cas, I'd have taken it and killed Lucifer.
  3. He didn't talk about it, specifically, but they all had the angel blades. Additionally, Crowley couldn't have had the weapon Michael was going to use to kill Lucifer because that would have ended up in the cage with them. See my above response.
  4. Because he's not that stupid, he doesn't really believe that. They were supposed to have Wally's back, too, if you think about it. There was also an actual sword, most likely his archangel blade, as that is what he was planning on using to kill Lucifer with during the Apocalypse. Plus Demon Bobby said the Michael sword was what Michael used to kick Lucifer out of Heaven in the first place.
  5. Teddy bear doctors!!!! I'm intrigued about the return of the Colt. You know they wouldn't have bothered bringing it back unless they have a plan for it. Lucifer Jr probably. I think Mary really betrayed Sam and Dean. That gun would have killed Ramael. She risked their lives by keeping it hidden. I don't know that I can forgive that. I mean, yes, hunting is risky in and of itself. But, if something is way stronger than you, and you have a weapon that can take it down, and you don't use it simply because you need to keep your secret hidden, you've crossed some kind of line.
  6. Ah, thanks. I had forgotten all about him. apparently he didn't make much of an impression.
  7. Emily. I feel he earned it somehow. Who's Alex? I was thinking it was the kid from her business class but now I'm not sure. Would you rather spend your day watching Rory pick out books at a book sale or listen to Lane play the drums all day when she's just starting to learn?
  8. LOL. I think he didn't say anything, because he literally made the decision after she had already stepped out, but he could have called her back. Can you imagine your first time ever on stage, and you're hung out to dry like that?
  9. I'm not saying that it would be impossible, but it would be incredibly risky and I doubt Sam would have done it. I know he was only 18 and he has been known to do incredibly stupid things, but this was his one chance out of the hunting world. If caught, not only would he not get into Stanford, he wouldn't get into any college. Not only that, this is something that would hang over his head forever. I'm assuming he knew he wanted to be a lawyer when he started. Faking transcripts to get into college which got you into law school is something that can get you de-barred 20 years down the road. On another discussion, elsewhere, years ago, someone was surprised that Sam could get a full-ride moving around so much. I'm of a mind that colleges love hard knock stories. They would be like "oh, he moved 50 times and still got all A's. That so much harder than staying in one place." And, I'll also say this, Sam's moral compass has moved steadily south over the years. In Swan Song, Chuck said Sam used to insist on honest work. In Pilot, he seemed pretty disdainful of the credit card fraud thing and even turned down breakfast that would be purchased with the fraudulent card. In Bugs, he mentioned that they could do honest work when Dean hustled pool and Dean was like honest versus quick and easy, no contest.
  10. They're in Pittsburgh. PIttsburgh has buses right? I mean, I realize that evening debates and Friday night football teams would need to be driven to and from, but surely after school practices and whatnot could be navigated by the kids on their own.
  11. It's Krissy, Claire and one off-screen exchange. I honestly can't think of anybody else telling dean he's old. He got a hook up this ep, and that's been the only hook up for either of them all season. They've been a little busy with other things. Amara certainly liked him well enough. I think he had a flirtation with that lady in Beyond the Mat, but maybe I'm wrong, not exactly my fave epi and I've only watched once. The woman on The Vessel seemed to kind of like him. He was with that Anne Marie girl in Black. He was having a nice chat with Tina in About a Boy.
  12. He did drop out. He was just starting senior year in After School Special, and I figure that's the last time he went to school. "I always figured Sam submitted bogus transcripts when he applied to college. " No way. Schools check on transcripts. Especially if they're going to give you a full-ride.
  13. Hangin out with Lorelai and Rory. Which was the worse pet, Cat Kirk or Jason's fake dog?
  14. I binge watched the first 10. I'm not sure how I feel about Randall. I feel I'll get rocks thrown at me for saying this, but I kind of feel like he's a big baby. I'm not talking about his panic attacks. That's something you can't help. But, just on all the little stuff (or not so little, to be fair). His anger towards Rebecca, which I guess was kind of justified, but then he also got angry at Beth, but said not that much or something, competing with the other guy at work and getting all hurt about how they're leaving him out, when if he looked at it rationally he would see that lately he's not pulling his weight. Dude, just see about a leave of absence for a few weeks and go back when you can handle everything. Getting mad that people don't understand what he does when I'm not even entirely sure it's a real thing. I would love it (not really) if his whole career turned out to be some weird hallucination. He's really a janitor in some big office building. How huge can it be? He's basically sleeping on the couch.
  15. Was helicopter parenting a thing yet in the '90s? Honestly, these kids are supposed to be move out ready (or close to) in two years. They really ought to be able to survive with just one parent around for a few weeks at this age. I'm not saying it's OK to decide to up and abandon your teenagers, but assuming she's planning on calling and checking in, and available for emergencies, I don't see the big deal. When I was 14(?) my parents left for a week and dropped me off a a friend's house, which I guess still technically gave me two adults but I'm still one kid (plus their 3), but anyway, I assure you I wasn't emotionally scarred in any way.
  16. Sure, if you invite them. But, if someone literally shows up on your doorstep with a suitcase and says "I'm staying here even though I have a perfectly good hotel room because reasons," I think all bets are off. I do agree with that. Add to that he's sick and actually an invited guest, yes, he deserved way more courtesy.
  17. The only two people I recall calling Dean old are krissy and Claire, both teenagers. Yes, to some teenagers, people in their 30s are incredibly old, IIRC, I felt the same way. And, the dad bod comment I remember was when he was talking to Sam. I don't even remember the episode, but if brothers can't razz each other about stuff like that, I don't know what we've come to. Other than that, I can't really recall women shooting him down.
  18. I saw Lauren Graham on a talk show (don't remember which one) and the host told her there had been complaints about how she holds the coffee cups unrealistically, and that they need to have something in them so that she doesn't do that. She said that stuff like that actually drives her crazy and there is always coffee in her coffee cup. So, I suppose she could be lying, but it also goes to show that we don't all do things the same way. Maybe, but not necessarily. This would have been around '96. I graduated college in '94 (yes I'm old) and I remember at some point in college seeing a Murphy Brown episode, which I have no idea why I was watching, I hated that show. But, anyway, IIRC, in this episode they were supposed to be more environmentally friendly or something, so they had to check with takeout places that they didn't use Styrofoam or plastic, and they had to switch to reusable mugs. I also remember the same thing re: the mugs and a bet on Days of Our Lives at the hospital, also when I was in college or shortly thereafter.
  19. That's exactly what I meant. I actually have a perfect real world example, I just don't want to share it here. I'll try to see if I can think of another one.
  20. Yeah, that was basically my point. My other big hangup about school is if Sam was only in any given school for a month at a time, how did they even grade him? Schools are not all doing the same stuff at the same time. English classes do not all read books in the same order. The nightmare of how all that worked is beyond me. I'm actually surprised John let the kids go to school after 8th grade or so. At that point they would have enough education to hunt. And, like you said they weren't around enough for anyone to get involved. But, I have majorly digressed, so apologies all around.
  21. I must have missed the Miss Manners column that said you had to let every uninvited guest live with you indefinitely.
  22. There are people in the world who feel that they need to pad their arguments. One or two examples is never enough.
  23. Reason 5,499 I'm glad I don't live in a big city. Actually, the building I work in has both offices and apartments. They had to up the security a bit a few years ago because someone from NYC moved into one of the apartments and she complained about the lack of security. So, now we have mirrors and cameras, but still no security guards or anything.
  24. I just realized I said Jack and sophie were having sex. that certainly puts a new spin on, well, everything. LOL.
  25. If something like that happened to me, I wouldn't sue. It's just not who I am. I would inform the doctor who referred me and I would write a letter to them after stating why I feel they were wrong and that they should ensure it doesn't happen in the future. I realize that second one would probably do nothing, but it would make me feel better. But, if the doctor knew about that, she might send referrals elsewhere.
