They keep pushing episodes back and there isn't much left in the spring season. It doesn't look good to me. Why use that episode as a cliffhanger when he's popular and all we wanted was an episode that featured him? The Trump episode can't be the sole reason...not that big a deal. The show is in chaos. All I said was at this point, I don't care what happens to any of them. I don't like the ride...too bumpy. Not drunk thank you, just a "smart phone " that has become a dumb shit.

I given up..on my phone the show everything. Barbas out in a tacky way, maybe they tabled it because we wouldn't like it. I am sick of being yanked by this show. They can have him marry Yelena and get a whole lotta sh"t, kill him, send him to prison or have him secretly marry that big menopausal cow and lose it all. SVU..ENOUGH! I said it before...they are OUT OF EXCUSES. Maybe they are so suck they are actually reading the boards criticisms and re doing episodes...whatever. They're pissing on us with this hacking episode tease. Do they think at this point they can yank us with a final episode that puts a popular character in doubt and we will go "YAY! I can't wait till fall!" ?? We won't be there. Why couldn't they just play it straight? Good characters, good stories, and stop F ing with the characters? Please God, can a bomb go off in the SVU squad room and end this fiasco of a show??

I'm thinking if "Genes" was originally supposed to come after "Know It All", then maybe we can pick up some clues as to what went on, you know, like if Barba is going about his job as usual, Benson and her "Golden Child" are fine , etc. Maybe they switched episodes because we viewers were freaking out about Barba getting...what?....screwed, injured, disbarred, etc. All depends I guess if the "Genes" episode really did come after the other episode in the original scheduling. I'm going to watch with a magnifying glass just in case. :)

So, we know the episode "Genes" was originally supposed to air after the hacker episode? I saw the promo for it. There was Barba. Good. Maybe "Genes" has more Barba than the hacker episode. It's supposed to be about all the people involved in investigating/prosecuting the hacker so I bet you guys are right. They overhyped the episode as "Barba centric" but I bet Benson has her "secrets" hacked too and that will be the focus. :)

Now that you mention it, Dana Lewis ( Marcia Gay Harden) was my favorite reccuring character and "Wrath" my fave episode. And I was soooo pissed they took her (Lewis) down in the most awful, shameful way that kicked a hole in her character a mile wide. Made her a murderer before she even started her FBI career! I hope she haunts Benson forever.

Yeah, I included Mr. Jackie because through the whole show, he WAS considered the perp/suspect by everyone but Rollins(kudos girl) even though we knew early on he was innocent. Infuriating Benson got away with that IMO.

Another for me was "Mr. Jackie" the gay music coach. Benson ruined his life, career, his teaching rep, everything because all the way through the show it was like "he's gay, so he must be a pervert with children". I was hoping the Gay Rights or LBGTQ community would crucify Benson for that but as usual she was absolved because she was "doing her job". HE WAS INNOCENT !

Well, people can defend or explain in detail the mechanics of television production all they want, but, the truth is this is what a person gets for setting themselves up as "Queen Bee" on an ensemble show. When her name is on the credits as "Executive Producer", clearly uses the writers to promote her personal politics/agendas that are so insane uber left even this 60s flower child is choking on the nonsense, the "ripped from the headlines" scripts suck, the actors kiss her butt like their lives depend on it, and proceed to "phone in" their performances while she hogs 40 out of a 44 minute show even when it doesn't make sense for her to be there.....you can't blame a disgusted viewing audience for blaming her. She wanted to be big bossy pants of it all.....then that's where the buck is going to stop...with her. Sorry :)

The dead giveaway for me was all that "400th episode" bs. Pics of the cast smiling and hugging. Pics of Hargitay smiling and being hugged. Pics of cast eating cake and smiling. NOT ONE network honcho in the mix. Dick Wolf, "the creator" of the show didn't show up. Surely they would have a pic of them smiling and hugging him? Warren Leight, who with Esparza, created the character of Barba and helmed the show for years, didn't show up. There's your sign. NBC doesn't like Hargitay being "in charge" and they showed it. There's a lot of unhappy campers at NBC...and it looks like Hargitays' doing.

The election is way over. The World Series is way over. One Chicago show is the 8:00 lead in to SVU, the other two are different nights. They teased us with a new "Barba centric" episode and pushed that back to the end of the month. This Wednesday we get two, count 'em, two turkey episodes from the fall...again. In the middle of the winter/spring season. They're out of excuses. The network is airing these shows because that's all they got. This show's production staff has clearly become a bunch of ass clowns who DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY'RE DOING. So much for Hargitays' leadership skills. The show is a giant suckage, and again, on Hargitays' watch. Unlike Benson, she doesn't get to "skate" on this.

It sounds like its time this show got some "executive" producers who know what the hell they're doing when it comes to choosing stories/scripts for an ensemble cast show. And how to keep to a tight production schedule that keeps the show in the public's viewing "mind" and doesn't frustrate or lose the viewers they have. Its sounding like this show is in total disarray on the production end. Wasting money on poorly written scripts, wasting money for the cast to waste their time and effort for nothing, endless reruns in the middle of the viewing "season", these are the things that get producers fired and cause a show to implode. And this has all gone down on Ms. Hargitay's watch. And we already know the complaints about her part in it. In short, she needs to step down and get somebody in there who knows how to get this show's shit together....fast. IMO.

I just don't need political agenda rhetoric from either "side" mixing in my entertainment. This show is so uber left its choking me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not either left or right and by the same token I don't need paranoic conservatism from people squeezing their ass cheeks so tight they have to fart through their nostrils either. Its entertainment....give us good stories without the political bs ...that's all I'm sayin'.

So somebody who took exception to Barba putting them in prison or he and Benson publically ruining their life, hassles Barba, he tries to handle it, screws it, gets in a tight sitch, and Benson (wearing a cape) comes in gun drawn and saves his little wussy butt. They hug, say something lame like "if he killed you I would have died too (awwwww)" and we still have "The Olivia Benson Hour". Perfect. (I'm starting to not care if they hang him by his berries in Times Square....enough of this shit already).

So...once again Barba is clueless and Benson has to tell him the DA's computer/cell phone system is hacked? Barba who lives on his phone and is in the DA's office? They showed people on phones. One girl says "they could be listening right now!" Barba and Benson yak all the time. "I'll call Barba" is her favorite line. They've said something they shouldn't to each other ( personal, about sex?) This hacker has been listening to their often, after hours conversations. Please don't tell me Barba has been climbing Mount Benson and planting his flag now that Tucker is gone! Anyway, its gonna be all about Benson. That's my take.

Well, only half way through and this is a piece of crapola. I love it when Olivia tells a victim she shouldn't be embarrassed about being assaulted and raped and having her name splashed all over the world and having her career and rep and everything she worked hard for crash and burn because Olivia thinks " there's a predator out there" and that's more important than the woman's whole life. High Point: when Benson called her by her first name and asked if she minded...."I prefer to be addressed as Captain, mam". Maybe Barba is off solving that "devastating secret".

If the kid hadn't been such a sweet nerd, he would have realized that was the sound of his momma having hot monkey sex, not being raped, and we would have had a whole different episode.

I felt for Eddie Garcia in "October Surprise". His only real crime was being loyal to a fault to his lifelong friend..who used him to commit and hide his own crimes. Barba put his arm around Eddie and cried when he had to tell him how much trouble he was in.

I'm wondering if they actually do read the comment boards because I saw a couple of things we have criticised were gone. Benson's eyeliner, and most importantly, leaving Barba the Hell alone to be a lawyer, not her cop partner every step of the way. She didn't lean her big tits in his face and order him because "its the right thing to do" but there she was in court all day with the rest of the squad lined up like choirboys...really stupid. It was a same old same old as far as episodes go. Its still all about Benson.
