  1. Twentieth-second Snoop Dogg album "Neva Left" (2017). Now this - the production quality, the lyrics, the beat - top notch. Way better than most of his works.
  2. Twentieth-first Snoop Dogg album "Coolaid" (2016). It was... decent. Huh, thought that I'll write average, eh? Well, no such luck. Still not anything to be recommended, but in comparison, yeah, decent.
  3. Nineteenth and twentieth Snoop Dogg albums "Bush" (2015) and "Cuzznz" (2016). Both average.
  4. Eighteenth Snoop Dogg album "California Times" (2014). Nothing new, you've guessed it - average.
  5. Seventeenth Snoop Dogg album "Kush" (2014). So far, the most meh of his. I don't think that there were any outstanding songs in this album, but if I had to choose...
  6. Sixteenth Snoop Dogg album "7 Days of Funk" (2013). A collab album with a funk group. Another average material.
  7. Fifteenth Snoop Dogg album "Doggumentary" (2011). Another pretty average album.
  8. Fourteenth Snoop Dogg album "More Malice" (2010). Decent, nothing spectacular.
  9. Thirteenth [OMFG, and I don't think that I'm even in the middle of his discog yet, wow...] Snoop Dogg album "Death Row: Lost Sessions, Vol. 1" (2009). So far, I'd toss it to a very miniscule pile of Snoop Dogg's best works.
  10. Twelfth Snoop Dogg album "Malice N'Wonderland" (2009). It's decent.
  11. Eleventh Snoop Dogg album "Ego Trippin'" (2008). Another average album.
  12. Tenth Snoop Dogg album "Boss Life" (2007). Finally, finally, nine albums and 115 songs later (of those that were good), there is an album that is actually good to be recommended. And this is it.
  13. Ninth Snoop Dogg album "The Blue Carpet Treatment" (2006). So far, in terms of liked songs in an album, this is probably his best one.
  14. Eight Snoop Dogg album "Presents Welcome to Tha Chuuch Album” (2005). Kinda contrasting opinions, as an album, on its own, above average (6.9 out of 10), but on the enjoyment level, it's one of his worst materials.
  15. Seventh Snoop Dogg album "R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece" (2004). Well, not quite the masterpiece as it would like to be, but close enough to be good. Collabs with 50 cent, Pharrel and Lil Jon elevate it to a higher score.
  16. Sixth Snoop Dogg album "Paid Tha Cost to Be Da Bo$$" (2002). Despite clearly ramped up production quality, album wise, pretty average.
  17. Fifth Snoop Dogg album "Tha Last Meal" (2000). I found it to be average, a couple of good songs, but nothing as good as his previous one.
  18. Fourth Snoop Dogg album "No Limit Top Dogg" (1999). Now, this album is the very first from Snoop that I actually like, it's still not good enough to say I recommend a listening to, but in comparison to his previous three albums, yeah, this one is to go to.

    Book News

Hey, I read some from this list: S. King's The Stand (will be re-reading some time). J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings (as well). S. King's It (did not like it much). Though, I thought that "To Sleep in the Sea of Stars" was long as heck, but apparently not. Though, by googling it, the original had 220000 words!
  20. Third Snoop Dogg's album "Da Game is to be Sold, Not to be Told" (1998). So far, the same observations as with his previous album - very weak first half and decent, sometimes even good, second half of the album.
  21. So, Snoop Dogg in his third album made a cover of Gangsta Gangsta by NWA, and released DP Gangsta. Which, compared to original, is meh.
  22. Second Snoop Dogg album "The Doggfather" (1996). Um, the first half of the album is terrible, while the second half is good. If I don't count the skits in this album, this would be significantly better than "Doggystyle", but, if I should count the skits then its worst. But, let's just say that second half was good, let's don't count the skits, and say this album is at least a 7.
  23. Well, I'm towards the end of Beren & Luthien. All is left are some annotations regarding any corrections Christopher has made while compiling the book. In addition to what I've said earlier, I could say that there are two B&L stories in this book: one is a prose like fairy-tale akin to Hobit, and the other is a lyrical work. Both of them are kinda the same, but different. The first one that I've read in my initial comment was the shortest. The second one was the longest and it differed from the first one:
  24. Started Snoop Dogg's discography. His debut album "Doggystyle" (1993) is kinda average with most tracks sounding like putting someone to sleep, but it shows promise. I guess, if you would listen to this while stoned, it would be better experience, but pretty average, which is alright as far as debut albums go.
  25. Happy New Years everybody! Well, a new year, a new discog 🤣 Apparently, a couple of months ago Ice Cube released his latest album called "Man Down" (2024). Old school-gangsta rap with some collaborations with other artists. Man, I don't know whether I said this before, but it is so cool to listen to Ice Cube's voice, I don't know what it is, but his voice alone can elevate even the most meh track haha. Anyways, I'd rate the album 8.4/10, which judging by my Spotify playlists, is probably his best one yet, cause all other previous albums were barely above 6 to me.
