This Upton drama is really getting ridiculous and needs to end.  Now!  As mentioned upthread, she’s done worse (Darius and planting drugs in someone’s car).  And while Voight was beating the suspect, she technically didn’t do anything wrong when she shot him AFTER he’d taken Voight’s gun.  So why is she wracked with guilt now???  It. Makes. No. Sense.

Exactly!!  She slept like a baby after getting Darius killed, who was no threat to her at all.  Crap writing for "this" to be the reason she's melting down.  What happened to "Give me time Sarge, I'll get there"

    Off topic and potentially spoilerific,

      Reveal spoiler

I wonder if there's been any rumor of a main cast member being killed off early this year. The reason I'm asking is that the Oct. 27th episode is titled End Of Watch, which is the term used to describe a police officer or firefighter's line of duty death. After this the show goes on break for a while.

I'm totally torn on being excited it's someone I can't stand and being sad on if it's someone I enjoy watching.

Voight is total trash & an asshole, and I am pretty sure we are supposed to hate him, which we do to varying degrees, however I "Think" we are supposed to like & feel sorry for Upton, which I do not, in the slightest. I don't get what they are trying to do with this character. Eid got run out of SVU for trying to make us feel sorry for the bad guys because of their traumatic pasts, so it didn't work over there so he bought it over here and thought he'd try again.

I feel like the cases are becoming secondary to the drama and it's sending this show down the tubes.

The only thing I will give Voight is that he didn't lie to Jay.....I guess Jay just can't handle that.

Agree.  My only point is they are keeping Voight true to character.  Hailey's spiral is a big snoozefest for me!

  4. Tracy Spiradokos (Spelling probably wrong) is ruining her career with this drivel!  Nothing against the actress, but this character is a trainwreck and they are writing her into a corner.  I have to believe that she's leaving the show.  Not a spoiler, just my opinion as I have nothing to back it up.

On a lighter note, it was pretty satisfying when Halstead punched Voight.  I know Voight gets no love here, but at least they keep him true to character.  I like that Voight just took it in stride. Halstead can't decide if he's a boy scout or a vigilante.

I'm still enjoying the Albanian Gang plot and Stabler undercover. Stabler seems to taking risks, and I wonder if he won't actually end up in serious trouble before they wrap up this case.

I really wish they would just let this show be it's own thing. I actually like this show and I don't need the tie ins. A tie in or two every season could possibly be okay, depending on why SVU needs to be there. However, between the Benson will they won't they and SVU somehow getting tied into their cases it feels like every week this show ties into to SVU.

I'm starting to wonder if it's SVU that needs the ratings boost, hence the tie-ins, instead of Organized Crime.  I'm loving OC much more than SVU!

Hopefully not!  Lolita Davidovich is just a few months younger than Chris Meloni (they both turned 60 this year) - but doesn't she look like she having fun with that role?  The Real (Horny) Housewife of the Albanian Mob!

Oh, Stabler...you are playing with fire there!

I love her and think she is perfect in that role.  He is playing with fire.  Banging the bosses wife when he could have gotten killed earlier in the day?  Elliot, you're smarter than that!

This is a decent show and I am really enjoying it except for the Benson/Stable shit.  That just seems like a cheap subplot to hook SVU watchers and pretty gagworthy.  I'd be happy if there was no tie in to SVU again.  If he calls LD, Olivia, I think I will projectile vomit!

  7. While the flashbacks are tedious and not really telling us anything we haven't already figured out, this was a much better season finale than last year.  Heist was sloppy, but still a good watch.  We see the start of Julia's substance issues, but for Christ" sake, hope they do a huge time jump with them next season to go full circle.  With how dragged out the flashbacks have been, they have a lot of ground to cover.

  8. The letter BS was unnecessary and puke worthy, but I actually like that Stabler's mother made an appearance.  As soon as Stabler said his mother was dead, I had a feeling she would show up.  I'm enjoying this show but just wish it would sink or swim on it's own without the Olivia drama.  It feels like the writers think it's necessary in order to hook the SVU audience, when it's actually a much better show than SVU.

  9. I thought this was a solid episode!  Burgess is understandably conflicted and unsure of herself, but overcame it and was pretty bad ass.  Felony Barbie was at a minimum.  Not enough Atwater, but for once the characters seemed true to who they are.

Yes, but deep down she has a good heart and cares for her kids.  Hey, I'm just an old softie.  I don't want to see my Carisi get hurt, believe me.  Carisi and I went to the same law school!

She does and is trying, but I feel like there' a chip she's missing.  Sooner or later her self destructive streak will come back.  I understand how she got there as her parents and sister are all a mess.  I think Carisi is probably really good for her but she is terrible for him.

  11. They have totally ruined Upton's character, to the point where she needs to be written out, either killed in action or in a psychiatric hospital.  She started out as a great cop with some common sense and morals.  Now she's this weepy nut case and it makes no sense that Jay would fall for that mess.  UGH

Did anyone get a hint that something might be brewing with Miller and Atwater?  This show already has too many relationships, so it's not like it would be unusual for writers to go there.  Maybe Atwater/Miller will figure out what happened and they will be the ones to bring down Voight and Upton?  Just a thought I had during the show.

Glad Kim is ok and that was pretty touching when Ruzek brought Mykalia to see her in the hospital.  She's going to be a mess and I think their going to say she can't have kids now.  Those 2, with Mykalia are the only happy ending I want to see on this show.

  12. I don't watch Most Wanted and don't want to watch the International one either.  Hate that I had to, to find out what happened.  Original FBI is solid but no love for the other 2.

  13. I was looking forward to this, but had trouble getting into it.  I will rewatch without interruptions to see if it seems more cohesive.  I want to give it a chance because I like the premise and the originality of it.
