I am so tired of the writers trying to make Carisi a literally perfect human as a form of pandering to the audience. Like of course he was bullied! That just makes him more perfect and thus a better character, right? Having no flaws at all makes him good, right?????
I'm probably one of the few who doesn't worship Carisi. He's ok, but I don't see anything all that special or interesting about him.

This was a decent episode. I like the actor who played the Dad. He was in The Killing too. He plays a good bad guy or a good guy.
I'm afraid his son is ruined for life! Some parents do horrible things to their kids thinking they are helping them.

I know, right? What this show has taught us thus far is that all the other people in Chicago are assholes.
LMAO! We're really not! :)

Wow!! Lots going on tonight!! Just some random thoughts:
*Loved the Miguel/Kevin scene! We don't know how fast or under what circumstances Miguel got with Rebecca, so I'm holding off on what I think of Miguel, but great scene.
*Kate getting kicked out of camp is weird. Makes me wonder if she was really kicked out or it was an excuse to leave? Even if his parents own the place, they must know their son is a loser if they are the only ones who will hire him.
*Love, love, love that Kevin ran to help Randall! There is hope for d-bag Kevin after all!! Really feel bad for the Sloane, that he left her on stage by herself while he was running to meet Randall, though. She must have wanted to die!

This had cute potential, but seemed to really drag. They did a cute Valentine's Day episode last year or the year before that was so much better. I found myself multitasking through most of this one.
On a side note: What did Steve's girlfriend do to her hair?? Looks like a 5 year old cut her bangs, lol.

I just saw a "Where are They Now" episode. It was a rerun, but it was Zsalynn and a woman whose name I can't remember. Anyway, the update on Zsalynn was awesome. She lost an additional 250 lbs of useless blubber when she dumped her d-bag hubby. He was such a jerk. She was one of my favorites! Really trying to get her life together and be a better Mom to Hannah. I don't always like some of these people but I really hope she ends up happy.

I'm not looking forward to the Ruzek/Burgess drama that is bound to occur. I really liked her as a beat cop.

I might be the only one on the planet that didn't watch the original 24, but I am really liking this so far! No idea how it compares to the original, but I'm pretty into this so far.

The closing scene when she almost start crying when she remembers she has a son too. Ugh. I don't have anything against Mariska but it got too far.
This, exactly! That fake cry thing was cringe worthy. I'm pretty neutral on her, not a big fan but don't hate her the way some do, but she was borderline pathetic in that last scene.

I agree with everything you said. I have even considered going to Law and Order UK to get my CLUNK CLUNK fix. Those 6? 8? seasons are all new to me and hopefully would have that old Law and Order spark that I am missing. There just is nothing like the twisted weird nasty feeling that SVU would leave you with. The way almost every episode ends on a bad note the feeling in your stomach after watching a couple episodes. The only episodes that end on a good note are when a child is returned or something horrible happens to a rapist and even that can feel sick knowing its another human being. SVU was certainly one of a kind CSI tried to do some of the horrible subject matter that SVU was able to do successfully for so long but nothing really gets into that almost unbelievable nasty factor like this show.
I loved L&O UK! I used to watch it occasionally when it was on BBC. Some of the cases are even a British version of the American cases. That would be a good binge watch show.

We need a spin-off focusing on what happens after Barba retires. The Law offices of Barba and Buchanan, Buchanan Barba attorneys at law both sound pretty good to me.
When Mariska rides off into the sunset with Noah, who just survived a gang shooting as well as a dive off the kitchen counter, that would be a great spinoff!

Love the Platt scenes! Complaining that her desk was called a coffee klatch cracked me up. Solid episode, but I pretty much enjoy them all.

I saw where this was going from the first time the mom talked to Benson. You could just tell she was a whack job. Not a bad episode but after all the hype about being the 400th, it was nothing special. Nice to see Barba kicking butt, like he used to.

Thanks Artsda! I loved SOA and am looking forward to this. Caught Jimmy Smits on 24 and it looks like it's going to be good!

Didn't read this whole thread so don't know if it was mentioned already, but what about women sleeping and having sex in bra's? Occasionally? OK. But it seems that every woman in America (on tv) sleeps in matching bra and panty sets, LOL!
