  1. Youre not wrong. I heard she is even bigger of a hero in the DC universe than GA so maybe they want to simply promote her. However im pretty sure the BC redo on arrow is a DC decision. Doubt MG or Wendy cared at all.
  2. The people that dropped the show are general viewers. The vast majority of the comic book readers dont even watch live(they are just very active on the internet). Adding a new BC is pretty much DC forcing her rather than the EPs thinking it will draw viewers. DC is promoting GA/BC on comics a lot. Especially their love story. I assume they are testing things using the (obviously bigger) tv popularity of the characters either to increase sales or to test the waters for a potential GA/BC debut on the big screen.
  3. I expect demo to hit that 0.5 towards spring. Unless it goes back to 0.7 for next episodes(unlikely).
  4. No trust me the olicity fandom has its fair share of crazies. But youre right id rather it is felicity friendly.
  5. He seems bored for majority of the episodes unless its emotional scenes that he (probably) treats as important. He also struggles much with actresses in the chemisty department.
  6. Heard this is the only sane Arrow board around the internet. Is it true?
  7. Exactly. I dont care if some episodes or storylines were badly written, they are still canon and retconing them is only doubling down on the actual issue. Its best to give a proper closure because continuity is important no matter what.
  8. Oh i read this interview. I didnt find it pretentious or insulting as someone else said but i do think they over did it with the defensive comments about the movements which shows they know many people didnt like them. I honestly thought you had some juicy gossip to share about her, based on your previous comment.
  9. I dont think that anyone would believe her really. She even says at some point that she didnt tell her story to her parents because of this. Or something similar anyway. To me it seems she just wanted to say a tale. It sure has many questions(plot holes?) that will probably never been answered but the show is something different and if it gets a second season ,it might be given a good closure. As for her, writing a lead role that she plays,i dont see anything wrong with that. Happens in many shows. I dont know much about Brit Marling, but based on her social media presence ,she is not bragging or over hyping herself or anything(maybe you can let us know what makes you think she is pretentious, unless of course you think she is Prarie or something-or i might just google "Brit Marling, pretentious"). And her show is in my opinion better than the many average tv shows out there who last for 10 years with lame acting/writing/directing. The show reminds me a little of a french tv show i watched last year, called "the returned",which had a better season 1 than the OA,but surely had weird writing elements and many questions that led to nowhere, just like the OA. I hated how it ended though.
  10. When she dies she can only go the where khatun is though. Khatun is pretty much the portal that connects all the other dimensions. However Prarie said that in order for her to go to a different dimension she would need the 5 dancing moves. Thats why im wondering if the 5 moves indeed allowed her to jump to another timeline, back to where Homer is,something that she wasnt able to do by simply dying. She needed to die while they danced the moves maybe? Two requirements needed for her to cross timelines. The movements open an invisible portal and her dying is the way to enter the portal. Also it still raises the question on how Homer ended up there,in a mental institution, considering that he was indeed a sports player and Prarie even saw him on youtube talking about how he woke up(unless she hallucinated that too) . Plus, who put her in a mental institution for all these years? Not her parents, who thought she was gone for 7 years, kidnapped and God knows what. Maybe she is where Homer is held now. Hap told her she wouldnt be able to find them again because they would leave that place. So maybe Hap took Homer and the others to another place,to a different facility and now Prarie was transferred there, after dying from the bullet.
  11. So her saying "Homer?" at the end indicates that maybe the dance movements indeed opened an invisible portal for her to go to another dimension. No? Well my theory is that next season will start with her being inside a mental hospital(she was wearing white clothes at the last scene) . But i think(or hope) it will be revealed she is indeed in another timeline.
  12. I think looking at it overall,Steve has certainly not changed much,he hasnt developed much and his attack to Prarie showed that. I feel like Prarie is the one he chanelled his anger to,because she was the first one to show real care and love towards him by trying to understand him. Its like when we hurt the ones we love the most, like when kids say hurtful stuff to their parents even though their parents are not the cause of their pain. Id like to think that Steve connects to her as if she is an older sister which is why he hurt her even though she wasnt the one he was really angry at. To me Steve appears to have a mental illness, because of how the script conveniently forgets his anger issues and then remembers it. Like you said one episode he looks totally fine and suddenly the next he is physically hurting people. So to me this doesnt look much like a teen who is just in a constant state of being angry but more like a mild bipolar situation.
  13. Well i think, its clear at this point that Steve might have some mentall illness. This kind of violence ,especially towards someone who has been so good to him,is completely crazy. I mean his parents are shit for sure but he does need help.
  14. She could have lied of course. The issue here is how the show treats that. It was left implying that they are indeed not brothers(Michael easily accepted it,Linc believed it and didnt look for it,they even had a convo about how no matter what, they are each other's brothers). So if the writers decide to somehow treat it as lies, the actual show needs to leave some clues for the viewers. The producers words mean nothing if they decide to gloss over it in the actual show canon. So them ignoring that this whole thing with Christina happened, means they push the idea that they are not brothers. At least thats what most viewers will believe. Its up to the season and whether they will actually give a closure to this.
  15. Seems like the spoilers thread here is very quiet. Cant wait for it to be fillef with spoilers once the show comes back. Btw does anyone know if there's a release date so far?
  16. His mom told Linc about that, then Linc told him. I actually thought it was true that they arent brothers. The show made it look like it was the truth. I dont think they will retcon it in the show, they will probably never mention it in the new season at all.
  17. id like to believe Carrie's ex is still in the picture but seems like he is long forgotten by the script.
  18. Im waiting for the episode 8 thread so i can comment. I have so many thoughts on this show .
