  1. I watch the episodes with the captions on (my ears are clogged from a sinus infection) and when I saw "Amabella" I was like, wait, really? I thought the captions were messed up and they really meant "Annabella." I have an uncommon name- it's the feminine version of a male name and people still mispronounce it/get confused, but I'm pretty used to it. Kimmel was obnoxious with the name thing. Plus Mahershala Ali's full name is Mahershalalhashbaz!
  2. Abigail knows how much Madeline hates Bonnie, so she had no problem telling her the truth. If she wanted to lie about the BC she could have- I think she just loves to push Madeline's buttons. I love the Madeline character and the way Reese portrays her. She's so outspoken and basically everything I'm not, so maybe that is why, but I just admire people like that.
  3. I kept thinking of Ziggy from the comic strip...
  4. I kept thinking of the Wooly Willy game when they showed Carter.
  5. Every time he's in a scene, I keep thinking how good he looks. (And then he opens his mouth and it all goes away...) I don't get Stassi's outburst. How many times is Jax going to have to apologize? I think she was either projecting stuff from Patrick onto Jax and/or thinking about how if she and Jax were together, she wouldn't be the only single one. The Schwartz and Katie thing both annoys and confuses me to no end, but some couples love this sort of push/pull dynamic. The fighting must be a turn on for them or something.
  6. Caroline's children have never really been featured a lot. I think it's because Caroline doesn't want to share the spotlight with them because kids will always steal the show no matter what, but they were probably already in Dubai when they were shooting this season's episode.
  7. What a boring episode. The dinner scene was probably the most ‘exciting’ and that was only what, 10 minutes long. It should have ended with Stanbury yelling “Off with their heads!” or revealing a pool of sharks swimming around them. Anything would have been more exciting. I like Adela because she reminds me of that one friend who is a bit of a mess and doesn't make the best decisions, but they have your back no matter what and are totally fun to be around. Whenever you go out together, you know you're going to have a fun time and will have stories to tell the next day. She's the one that you know will bring you back up again if you're going through a crappy time or had a bad day. I want to have a Nespresso with Fleming! This will probably come back to bite me, but I sort of enjoyed Juliet. During the photo shoot, she seemed normal and even self-conscious. Being around Caroline brings out the snark in her and she wants to appease her.
  8. I think Julie likes to be a bit of a sh*t stirrer and she probably knew that Caroline would say no, she just wanted to put her on the spot and watch her squirm. Caroline Fleming was totally in her element- I don't know if it's all an act or if she's on something, but I don't care. It's refreshing to watch and I want to dance around a maypole! It's better than Caroline S. whose sourpuss attitude we had to deal with over and over again. Adela seems like the kind of friend to have if you had a bad day or just want to laugh with. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when they were in the hotel room.
  9. Okay, so Stanbury's main beef with Adela is that Caroline introduced Adela to her friends and Adela dared to make fun of Caroline in front of said friends, so Caroline was hurt and angry. Rather than say something to Adela, Caroline kept her mouth shut. Caroline is the very definition passive-aggressive and someone needs to remove the maypole that's permanently shoved up her @$$. She views it as some sort of betrayal- they're not "joining sides" with the enemy- they're just calling her out on her ridiculous bs. She just wants her little followers to suck up to her, kiss her behind, and compliment her. (That's what Luke is for! At least he gets paid!) This woman is insufferable.
  10. Ah, yes, you are correct- it would be a Birkin. (The closest I've ever gotten to those brands is the pages of Vogue magazine!)
  11. I think Fleming rebelled thus making her the black sheep. She became a model instead of going to school. She divorced her husband, hooked up with a younger man and had a baby, etc. Flem once said that the women that her father dated never liked her and that influenced his opinion of her. It's like she's a desperate child craving Daddy's attention and just wants him to love her. Her mom seemed much more down to earth. That being said, she's not perfect. She talked to the press about his health and then it's all, "Oops!" yet she never takes responsibility. Caroline Stanbury I'm done with. Yes, yes, we get it. You have no emotions or you don't show them. Anyone who needs to bang on about it has issues. If someone stole her Gucci handbag she's probably burst into tears. (And then buy a new one.) I think she just lacks empathy and feels uncomfortable discussing emotions/emotional situations. I like Adela, I think there is more to her story though. Her kids might have had to help take care of her after she passed out drunk or maybe she showed up to a school event blitzed out of her mind. Who knows. I feel bad for her, but she needs to take care of herself and heal and then her kids might want to rebuild their relationship with her. Juliet has cute kids with British accents.
  12. It was almost like a little girl trying to please daddy. She kept thanking him for showing up to the show when Prince died and she told James that she was going to dedicate the show to him, instead of to Prince. It was weird...
  13. It seems like Matt is new money though- his father is a lawyer and then became mayor of Cardiff; his mom owned a jewelry shop. There might be someone in their history that has some title, but every article about Matt implies that he is a 'self-made millionaire'. Matt owned a lot of clubs and pubs, so that might be how he met Caroline.
  14. Methinks Lady Subway (sorry, had to steal) is getting a little too big for her britches. I nearly snorted when she made some remark about Juliet being a silly American or something. Um, hello? You’re not British! No matter how hard you try to act and sound like one.
  15. I loved her in the sweater! She wears neutrals! She looked so good! I really don't understand why they're attacking Ariana, when they should be going after Lala. Ariana isn't Lala's keeper. (That's Stassi's job!) I loved how these girls started the drama and then Katie decided that she didn't want to "start anything" at her bridal shower. Um, hello? You're the one who started it!
  16. I just liked looking at them- I would never wear them out in public though.
  17. When she's her alter ego 'Bianca', she looks so much better with the darker wig. Maybe she shouldn't go that dark irl, but I agree that the blonde washes her out. Other thoughts- I want the sparkly boots that she was wearing when she was sitting getting her makeup done. I love how Tanaka literally had no clothes that he had to go running around in Paris in a white bath robe. Really? He could be wearing a paper bag and he'd still be cute though. I think the dancers should have their own show- there's enough drama. Though didn't Stella fire Anthony after the NYE performance? I don't trust that woman. As someone said in a previous thread, I don't see the chemistry between MC and Tanaka. It's more like a playfulness, but I don't see anything beyond that.
  18. This is what I thought at first... but then I also thought that if there was ever a custody battle or something with Alex or the family, Caroline could possibly have some dirt on Sophie or use something against her. Caroline must hold a lot of power because they all eventually go running back to her- no matter what she says or does.
  19. Okay- thanks for clarifying. I thought I missed something from a previous episode where Marissa did actually say something. In the episode where Luke and Caroline talk about the rumors, Caroline excuses the rest of the girls because they are "housewives" but goes after Marissa because she should "know better" because of Matt's businesses. So she seems to target Marissa and place the blame on her, but that somehow gets twisted into the whole 'Marissa started the rumor' brigade and they're out for blood.
  20. Okay, I watched the episode and was so confused that I re-watched it. Did Marissa start the rumor and once Caroline Stanbury came after her, she denied it and then broke down? Or were they just accusing her of starting it? Ugh... Juliet. No words. Overall, I don't know if producers are encouraging them to rev up the drama or what, but it's getting very nasty to the point where I want to mute the tv and just watch for the scenery.
  21. I also am no model, but Juliet is not, erm, "aesthetically pleasing." I noticed even in the last season or so, her face looks too tight or pulled. She has permanent stank face going on. Her kids are the cutest- it'd be fun if she also had a mom blog or something and featured photos of her kids.
  22. ^ I think it was the fact that Molly lied and said that she was going to see a cathedral, but instead went to get the tattoos that Stella was mad about.
  23. That was really, really low of Stanbury. I was shouting at the tv when she said that, after I got over the initial shock. I don't know if it's the move to Dubai or if she's gunning for B*tch of the Year, but the woman has issues. I liked seeing the more playful (drunk) side of Sophie and I love her hair! I also loved how she called Alex to ask for the trainer's number. She's much more enjoyable than when she is with Caroline S. Juliet looked ridiculous in that getup. Then these women are calling themselves cool? Um, okay. Fleming is like happy, hippie child and whatever she is on, I want some! LoL. I like her and Marissa the best because even though they went through/are going through tough times, they won't take it out on those around them (::cough:: Caroline S.)
  24. Molly was doomed from the start because Stella wasn’t sure about hiring her, but did anyway. I was the “Molly” early on in my career and the only way to deal with these people is to not show any fear at all. They smell it from a mile away and enjoy watching others suffer. It’s sick really. You really have to have a thick skin or get out as soon as you find something else.
