I was just wondering this. All I saw was that LoT was returning in February, so my first thought was end of the month because of the Olympics. Now I’m wondering if the CW is actually planning to air new episodes of its shows during the Olympics. If so, no one can say anything about the ratings for those episodes.

My problem with Iris' line was that it was completely unnecessary. Am I to believe that the writers had no idea that people would be upset about the double wedding? I doubt that. So why throw that in? (Also, did I hear that Barry and Iris went to Bali for their honeymoon? Nope. That's Oliver and Felicity's spot. Get your own vacation destination.)

Question: Do we know how much Rene told the FBI? Just about Oliver? The entire team?

I really hope they’re doing more with Noah than just having him be at the reception. Or are at least planning to bring him back. We’ll probably hear that Felicity and Noah talked off-screen and settled any issues unfortunately. Ugh. Yep. Or just call her Siren if they want to keep it short and think evil Laurel would be too much to say every time.

I LOVE Felicity's dress. Love seeing their rings. Love those tuxes too. Bye, newbies. You won't be missed.
-
Oh, I need HQ photos now. But really, CW, who decided to release these photos Friday night?
-
I'm just hoping we get photos from the reception and it's not all action scene stuff.

I've seen tweets and comments acting like Oliver and Felicity (fictional characters!) and Arrow (another show entirely with different writers) are to blame for Barry and Iris and The Flash not having a reception in the midseason finale. Or complaining that Oliver and Felicity didn't invite Barry and Iris to their reception. It just doesn't make sense. Sometimes I'm amazed at the power people give Felicity and Olicity.

1. The Legends should be the first ones to RSVP yes to anything because they travel through time. What would their excuse be? "Oh, sorry, we were stuck in the 1700s and just couldn't set the Waverider to go to a specific date in 2017 because we didn't feel like it"? 3. The only thing I didn't get about that was Iris' bachelorette party was, what 3 weeks ago?, and Felicity answered Cecile's Q about her and Oliver getting married. Did Iris really think so much had changed in those weeks especially considering Oliver was just arrested and Felicity mentioned it like it wasn't new news, that Felicity was going to go, "Yep, we're sending out invitations next week! Surprise!"?

Yep. Kind of hope they fill Lance in on what happened (since they tend not to do that when he's not in an episode) so that takes care of that and they can move on to another storyline for him. I'm tired of Lance's storylines revolving around his daughters (from any Earth) and drinking. Paul Blackthorne deserves better.

You know, they could have fixed what was wrong with the double wedding easily. Have the five of them walk away from Diggle's vomit, show Felicity whispering something to Iris as they do, then have Iris look over at Felicity just before Felicity speaks up and proposes, so it looks like maybe Felicity told Iris what she wanted and Iris already knew and approved.
-
You know what would have really been rude of Felicity? To listen to Barry and Iris go, "we're just going to get a justice of the peace to marry us," know Diggle could marry them but not tell them, return to Star City with Oliver and propose to him and have Diggle marry them immediately (as the last scene of the crossover), all while Barry and Iris went through with their original plan. Then people would be complaining, "Why didn't Felicity tell them Diggle could marry them?"

According to the spoilers, Curtis gives a drunk toast and Rene takes over. I'm kind of hoping that someone else (Diggle, Thea, Donna, someone who has known Oliver and Felicity for more than a year or two) gives a toast too but Reddit guy skipped over it. Didn't he not even notice the wedding reception the first time he watched? I have a feeling I'm going to be telling Curtis to shut up a lot during 609. He'll probably do something to save OTA - maybe all the newbies will, since something has to happen to make us want them back - and then they'll all come together to fight the villains. Or they'll reluctantly team up again because of the team of villains and then something will happen and they'll be one big happy team again.
-
I just re-read the midseason spoilers from Reddit, and apparently Curtis catches the bouquet? It's in Donna's hands in the trailer, so... I guess he runs into her/grabs it from her?
-
One of my favorite parts of that promo has to be how happy Oliver and Felicity are at the reception.
-
Cannot wait to see that reception. Love that Oliver and Felicity are getting one. Curtis: "It could literally be any one of us." Uh, no, Curtis. It can't. Shut up.

The Starling City Times: News and Media about Arrow
insomniadreams88 replied to Grammaeryn's topic in Arrow
Oh, this part: You should never be able to say "one of" a character when it comes to a LI, especially if the character in question is whoever's wearing a certain mask at the moment or any Earth's version of a character (for those who are now calling for Oliver/Black Siren, simply because she's another Earth's LL/played by KC). -
I think they just set the Flash and LoT trailers to post as usual (Tuesday night). Hopefully we get the Arrow trailer today. Spoilers say it's a wedding reception.

I guess I don't mind the double wedding because it's not like it was in front of everyone, you know? It's not like the WA wedding went off without a hitch or they redid it and they were standing in a church, in front of all Barry and Iris' guests, and Felicity went, "hey, hold up, marry us now too." The only ones there were the two people who have been talking to Oliver and Felicity about their relationship during the crossover and Oliver and Felicity's best friend.
